My mother and I are walking in to the native sun this morning on March 28th. My mother has a bladder problem which she is getting surgery for. She could not hold her bowels. We asked to use the restroom and explained that my mother had a bladder issue and was getting surgery.. she is over 70. The lady at the front said “she did not care” and would not allow my mom the opportunity to use the restroom. I own a condo right in the beach two miles south. I have never experienced more disrespect and hatred for the elderly or district for someone in need. I would recommend never supporting or visiting a place with such disrespect for a human struggling or someone who is elderly. Do not visit this place. Bad people and bad morals.
We had a one bedroom oceanfront suite with amazing views and double balcony. There are reefs right off the beach and we did a lot of snorkeling and some scuba diving. The king size bed was nice and soft. The kitchen and bathroom were a little small, but appliances were new. Some fixtures in the unit were a little tired, but we were expecting this from reading other reviews and are so happy we took advantage of the last-minute availability. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming.
Close to beach. Great water pressure. The locks didn't make you feel safe. It used physical keys which look like they could be duplicated. Sheets were stained with holes. Pillows also had stains. We came here as it was the only vacancy and something is better than nothing. Alongside all the neighboring hotels and resorts, this one stands out for wrong reasons. The beach front property and view were so incredible, it earned a 2 for this review.
Superb location, beach is right next to the property. plenty of decent dining options. Older building and dated furniture but it was functional just that it was not fancy. You will need to rent a car if you would like to visit other locations.
This resort is right on the beach, which makes this resort great. The units themselves are a little outdated. The furniture is uncomfortable and old The units are very clean and all precautions are met due to COVID. The bathroom tub might be difficult for seniors with knee problems or balance issues. The kitchen is stocked but needs to have some items updated ( steak knives, carving knife). Electric outlets are a challenge, you might want to bring extension cords for charging phones, tablets, etc.. All in all, a great place, with great staff.
