Spectacular view for the wedding and then a fabulous dinner reception inside. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious! Very quaint, old Florida decor. Lovely, quiet location. We were able to watch the sunset. Rooms were available but we did not see them. Would love to go back again.

As you drive from Cape Coral to Pine Island, you leave the mundane sameness of SW FL for the sweet quirkiness of Pine Island where the colorfully painted shops and cafes beckon. It took some searching to find the Tarpon Lodge but once we did we were hooked. Sweet but smallish rooms, well priced for the location and the view!...

The trip to the restaurant on this historical site is worth the time It may need to go there. In our case it takes every time one hour. The restaurant has a real tropical atmosphere. You can imagine how Florida was years ago. Go for lunch and you can enjoy walking the beautiful surroundings. Go for early dinner then you...

Felt very comfortable there and enjoyed the beauty of the historic buildings and how well they were preserved. A lovely B&B that has been passed down to loving owners throughout the years. Loved docking my boat there ($50/night kind of steep) and had to launch at the adjacent Pine Island Marina for $15. The non-view room was clean, with adequate...

The Tarpon Lodge is a fabulous place to stay and we can not wait to return. This was our second visit. It is truly a hidden gem on Pine Island. Our room was on the second floor with a great view. No elevator is in this particular building but that was clearly disclosed. Had drinks by the pool-lovely service by...

My wife and I stayed here one night for our anniversary. We will probably spend some more anniversaries here. Lodging and restaurant staff are very professional, friendly and courteous. When we checked into our room (Queen bed with water view) in the stilt house we found an awesome view awaiting us. There was a romantic postcard with a very touching...

We arrived here for lunch to check out the place prior to making a reservation for Christmas Day. Walking around the harbour and in through the garden we came to a screened verandah. We were seated quickly and our server brought us menus. Ian chose the fish special with green beans and I selected the chef's house special salad with...

Brought the boat over from the east coast and fished several days in Pine Island. What a wonderful getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent views. The boat ramp was located a short drive away and tying the boat at the docks was simple. We will certainly be coming back for another stay!

The food and general atmosphere were pleasant enough, however the waiter attending to us gave the impression that we were keeping him from something more important. We dined at 8 pm and the restaurant stops serving at 9 so possibly if you ate early you may get better service. Would not recommend this restaurant as it was overpriced and a...

We arrived for a one night stay, warm welcome from reception. Quickly oriented to the lodge, and we were off to our room (Sanibel). We chose to stay in the main lodge so our room was right above the restaurant, very convenient. The lodge has a marina and pool, very nice and be sure go out to the docks for...
