Stayed on a Saturday nite January 14. Reserved online for $54 for a street view room, then upgraded to a beachfront with private balcony for $16 more. Room was above average, but for the price was a great value. Two restaurants onsite were also good.

We originally booked in the Tides building, but moved to the Dunes building. Both are facing the beach, but the Dunes building had a sofa bed and coffee table. The bed was more comfortable at the Dunes, and there was a vanity in the bathroom; not at the Tides. The Dunes did not have a balcony, but a wide walkway...

Had a family News Years weekend planned and booked. Our debit card we booked with was lost so we called and spoke with someone to explain, where told thats fine just bring proof of ownership of the card used for booking and said we could pay balance with cash. Upon arrival we gave a brief recap. We had proof requested...

Stayed over New Year's Eve in a King Gulfview room in the Dunes bldg. We had no trouble with check in, everyone was very helpful. We had two dogs with us and our room was large enough for us to set up our pet pen and still have plenty of room. We anticipated the bed being very uncomfortable based on...

Our trip was quiet as it was November and there were not too many people around. I enjoyed having a beachfront room and being able to bring my dogs along for a reasonable fee(just $45 for the whole trip). Our ground floor room in the Tides building was somewhat updated with a patio and just steps to the pool. Staff...

we visited Panama City Beach on Thanksgiving Break. The town is dead this time of the year, only couple restaurants open, everything closes at 4 PM (with sundown) but hotel was so cozy, straight on the beach. There were only couple more rooms taken so pretty much owned the place. Never seen empty beach, hotel, pool so empty before. We...

Pros: private beach, close to beach, pool, rooms with two beds and bunkbeds for large families or groups, good location, cheap, small fridge and microwave Cons: small bathroom, beds are VERY uncomfortable and hard, pillows are flat, itchy blankets (no comforter, blanket shown in pictures, like a towel), no tv channels, cheap irons that don't work well, old fridges and...

Look, this hotel is a little dated, but it's relatively clean, it has 2 nice pools, we could bring our dogs for a total of $45, and it was the host hotel for Ironman Florida. Shut up and take my money! Our room was on the 2nd floor of the Tides building and T1 was right outside our door. We...

The nice thing is, the hotel is not too expensive, located directly at the beach with a beach bar that offer good food and drinks. However, if you are looking for a nicely looking new hotel, this place is not the right one for you. Also, when I called the reception to confirm the booking two days before our stay...

The only valid reason to stay here again would be for the easy access to the Ironman event. The hotel is old, but that is no excuse for not being clean. The linens were overworn, rough, and dingy. The white washcloths were anything but white. The beds were hard as a rock. The floors dirty. No hangers for your clothes....
