We stayed here years ago and after checking reviews before going it sounded like the place had gone downhill. We didn't find that to be true at all when we arrived. Yes the resort is across the street from the beach. We walked through some rental homes to beach access. It's a quieter end of the beach than your normal Panama beaches. Found it easier to not be so close to others and not feel like sardines on the beach. We take a beach wagon to transport our supplies over but others rent a golf cart for the week. The pool wasn't ever crowded. Evenings were very popular for laundry so try doing washings earlier in the day to avoid waits. Bathhouse was clean most of the time. I found it was worse by the end of the day when it would have been used more. St Andrews Park beach was the BEST beach I've ever been too. Crystal clear water, dolphin site seeing from the beach, water so shallow you can go really far out, and bathrooms available to you. Best to go during the week and get there early because crowds are limited due to covid. If you get there after 10 you might not get in. Loved the gated entrance to the RV park that closed in the evenings. Made things feel safer. Actually enjoyed being on the street side of the park this time. Could hear the live music from the bar across the street in the evenings. Road wasn't busy so no need to worry about road noise. Our kids could ride their bikes around the park and we felt it was very safe. It's small enough you could almost see them anywhere they went. Didn't experience any issues with quiet time. Everyone was pretty calm in the evenings. Wish there were more palm trees for shade and that the ground coverings were freshened up. No the wifi isn't strong enough to do work. Found I could hardly use it in the camper but I was able to use it on my phone and laptop outside, but you're on vacation!

We stayed at Panama City Beach RV Resort for a week in February, 2020. The overall appearance of the park was acceptable, but there is much opportunity to be had. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice, with good water temp. St Andrews Park is just down the road, and is a very nice place to spend the day. The laundry Facility was not much bigger than a large closet, which made it very difficult to pass someone, or remove your clothes from the washers or dryers. The “resort” is located within walking distance from the beach, but the area you had to walk through is not the best. We were extremely disappointed that after reading years of negative comments about the internet access, it had not been fixed. It is virtually non-existent. So if you depend on access, don’t. If you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the weather, or sit inside and enjoy the quiet this is not the place for you. We were assigned a site that backed directly up to the street, and a bar/restaurant. Loud music played all day long and up to nearly midnight every night. We understand that the owners of the resort have no control over this, but it def affects one’s stay and review. So, if you like this type of an RV Park, this may be the one for you. We, however, will not be back.

Awesome location! We were able to easily walk to the beach. There are Pull-through and back-in spots. This campground is very Clean. Nice staff. Heated pool. The spots are not big, but there is a concrete pad to sit outside your rv.

Like others have said it is at the higher end of the budget when it comes to RV parks. I guess that is why I expected more this time around and ended up getting a lot less. We booked 6 months out and paid full price 600 plus but the month before we were going they offered a special for 300 for the week. When I called they told me I could not get that deal because I had already booked it. I said well what if I cancel and rebook can I do it that way. She said well yes but I cant guarantee you a spot if someone else books it. They lead me to believe it was full. But when we were there I counted no less then 17 empty spots all week. So lets start with the good things because there are some good things. * It is really close to the beach only a block away and you can easily walk there * Patches restaurant is right across the street from it. They have great food (need to work on customer service) and live music from 6 till 10 * Sites are paved and leveled * My Tmobile cell service was really good. But that's where it ends for the good. Now for the bad. * Grass was knee high is spots around our camp site and never seen anyone using the lawn mower * Sprinkler system went off about 3-4 times per day flooding our concrete pad daily * Sand spurs are everywhere. We have 2 small dogs and when we let them out for 10 mins it would take 20 mins to get all the sand spurs off them * Pool was a mess. Really dirty, Light with cord hanging out of the pool ( not sure if it was powered or not), I didn't see one umbrella that was not broken * The free wifi if you can call it that? Sure its free but in order for you to say you have wifi it actually has to work. Out of the 8 days I was there I could check my email 2 out of the 8 days. The other times it would just time out. I did do a speed test and it showed download .04 and upload was worse at .02. I"m not sure that counts as wifi. * The exit gate was down so people would drive in the wrong way and park on the street making it almost impossible to drive down with my camper on the back.   So will I be back for a third year. Probably not. I'm not happy about the way they handled our bill but the shape of the place in general.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're happy to hear you enjoyed our convenient location and the restaurant across the street. We're sorry about the various issues you encountered during your stay. We have had some recent staffing and maintenance challenges and are doing our best to adapt. The current state of our park is not the norm, and we hope you will give us another chance in the future!
