Detailed Reviews
We stayed here years ago and after checking reviews before going it sounded like the place had gone downhill. We didn't find that to be true at all when we arrived. Yes the resort is across the street from the beach. We walked through some rental homes to beach access. It's a quieter end of the beach than your normal Panama beaches. Found it easier to not be so close to others and not feel like sardines on the beach. We take a beach wagon to transport our supplies over but others rent a golf cart for the week.
The pool wasn't ever crowded.
Evenings were very popular for laundry so try doing washings earlier in the day to avoid waits.
Bathhouse was clean most of the time. I found it was worse by the end of the day when it would have been used more.
St Andrews Park beach was the BEST beach I've ever been too. Crystal clear water, dolphin site seeing from the beach, water so shallow you can go really far out, and bathrooms available to you. Best to go during the week and get there early because crowds are limited due to covid. If you get there after 10 you might not get in.
Loved the gated entrance to the RV park that closed in the evenings. Made things feel safer.
Actually enjoyed being on the street side of the park this time. Could hear the live music from the bar across the street in the evenings. Road wasn't busy so no need to worry about road noise.
Our kids could ride their bikes around the park and we felt it was very safe. It's small enough you could almost see them anywhere they went. Didn't experience any issues with quiet time. Everyone was pretty calm in the evenings.
Wish there were more palm trees for shade and that the ground coverings were freshened up. No the wifi isn't strong enough to do work. Found I could hardly use it in the camper but I was able to use it on my phone and laptop outside, but you're on vacation!

This is our second year coming to this campground. Where we will probably be back just because of the convenience of the area, there are several areas that are in need of service.
1. Trees are over growing and need trimming so they won’t scratch your camper. Several campers had issues getting into their sites.
2. Bathrooms/showers were horribly unkept. Hair in the showers and beach sand in the showers. Mildew on the shower curtains. Mildew in the corner of the shower stales. No toilet paper in bathroom stales. Just gross in general.
3. Pool needs a deep clean, film was floating on the top and the sides need cleaning off.
4. Grounds need up keeping…gate was broken, walls and fence were falling apart.
5. Electrical boxes are in bad shape. No cable hook up on our site and others that were in our group.

We have stayed here several times and plan to return. We love the street side sites so we can listen to the live music across the road at night. Being so close to St Andrews Park to drive down to their beaches is a def plus. We don't mind walking across the road to the beach, we take a wagon and it's not but a couple min walk. Love that this is a small RV park and we feel like it's a safe spot for our family. Sites are paved and level.
We did notice last year that it was in need of some repair and even more this year. Wifi was down much of the time, when it was up it was pointless. Our neighbors electric wasn't working when they arrived, another site next to us was also broken when they arrived. Our friends shorted out in the middle of the day and burned up their surge protector (luckily not their camper). The lights around the campground weren't working. We were told the campground suffered major electrical issues after Hurricane Michael and still wasn't repaired. Make sure you have a surge protector on your plug. The fences around the property were broken and loose. The exit gate was broken completely off. With the exit gate being broken, people were driving in that way to avoid the entrance gate. The dog park was in horrible condition. The fence next to the street was broken, the gate to the pool area wouldn't shut all the way and the gate to the maintenance area was left open all the time. There was dog poop everywhere and the waste can hadn't been emptied in forever.
Those things are issues we hope are resolved when we visit again. I thought the site host was a wonderful lady.

We stayed at Panama City Beach RV Resort for a week in February, 2020. The overall appearance of the park was acceptable, but there is much opportunity to be had. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice, with good water temp. St Andrews Park is just down the road, and is a very nice place to spend the day. The laundry Facility was not much bigger than a large closet, which made it very difficult to pass someone, or remove your clothes from the washers or dryers. The “resort” is located within walking distance from the beach, but the area you had to walk through is not the best. We were extremely disappointed that after reading years of negative comments about the internet access, it had not been fixed. It is virtually non-existent. So if you depend on access, don’t. If you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the weather, or sit inside and enjoy the quiet this is not the place for you. We were assigned a site that backed directly up to the street, and a bar/restaurant. Loud music played all day long and up to nearly midnight every night. We understand that the owners of the resort have no control over this, but it def affects one’s stay and review. So, if you like this type of an RV Park, this may be the one for you. We, however, will not be back.

While the Panama City Beach RV Resort had some positive aspects, such as its convenient location and amenities, there were several areas that left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that no staff members were available to welcome us, despite being within business hours. This lack of immediate assistance made our check-in process less welcoming and convenient than expected.
Furthermore, we were provided with a gate code only and had to repeatedly reach out via text to obtain essential information such as the WiFi password, access codes for the fitness room, and laundry facilities. This inconsistency in communication added unnecessary inconvenience to our stay.
The most concerning issue we encountered was the condition of our picnic bench. It was in a state of disrepair, with visible signs of deterioration and exposed nails posing a safety hazard. This not only impacted our comfort during outdoor relaxation but also raised concerns about the overall maintenance and safety standards of the resort.
In summary, while the Panama City Beach RV Resort offered some amenities and a convenient location, the lack of onsite assistance, inconsistent communication, and safety concerns regarding the picnic bench detracted from the overall experience.

We have been coming here for 20 years and have steadily seen the property go down. The pool is filthy and the umbrella’s around it are falling apart. There is hardly any grass anywhere and the dog park is not suitable for any animal. The worst part is I was told by management when I asked about the price of our site increasing by 67% from last year that the office in Atlanta calls daily with rate changes. We booked in Jan. And the people next to us did as well they are staying one day longer and their rate is $300 less. I had called the office when I found out this information to speak to the manager and was told at 9am on Friday that she would not be in for two hours. I never received a call so I went down there and she said she had been all over the property that day and was too busy to call me back. She said she did not have a number for corporate office but she did give me the address. I guess she didn’t think I could find the number. We won’t be coming back. I highly recommend when making reservations you call until you hit the price point that suits you.

We found the resort well-maintained and easy to navigate with our Class C RV. The beach was an easy walk. Plus, St. Andrews State Park is close - worth the $8 per car. We stayed in #11 which is on the backside or non-street side. The restaurant across the street has indoor and outdoor dining with live music.

The park itself could use some TLC. Landscaping and electrical pedestals have room for improvement. Have noticed several campers putting plastic garbage bags over the pedestal to protect it from rain.
It’s very convenient to the beach ( a short walk across the street to beach access # 1). Sites are spacious, with full hook ups.
On the down side, you will be subject to the quality of the band across the street at Patches 7 nights a week. Some nights a winner others, NOT!

For the price, I expected nice bathrooms and hot water. Instead, tiny little shower stalls that were not very clean and barely lukewarm water. We arrived after the office had closed and while they reached out and gave us the code to the gate, they didn’t give us the code to the bathrooms/shower so had to wait until we found another camper in the morning to get that.
The website has all these restrictions about the RV can only be so old, etc. and yet there was a unit where someone obviously lived there that was a mess—stuff all over in their “yard”, yard flag tipped over right in front.
The unit next to us had problems with their electric not working so they had to run their generator all night long.
The RV spots were level and concrete, which was nice.
This was definitely NOT worth the price.
