We asked if they would mow Around our site. This is what it looks like. Needless to say they didnt touch it.. its full of burs that stick to our dogs. The grass in the dog park was just as bad. This was on a day the landscapwes were here.
We have been coming here for 20 years and have steadily seen the property go down. The pool is filthy and the umbrella’s around it are falling apart. There is hardly any grass anywhere and the dog park is not suitable for any animal. The worst part is I was told by management when I asked about the price of our site increasing by 67% from last year that the office in Atlanta calls daily with rate changes. We booked in Jan. And the people next to us did as well they are staying one day longer and their rate is $300 less. I had called the office when I found out this information to speak to the manager and was told at 9am on Friday that she would not be in for two hours. I never received a call so I went down there and she said she had been all over the property that day and was too busy to call me back. She said she did not have a number for corporate office but she did give me the address. I guess she didn’t think I could find the number. We won’t be coming back. I highly recommend when making reservations you call until you hit the price point that suits you.…
Nice quiet RV park. I called to make my reservation at the last minute. We reserved two spots and they were able to put us together as requested. One RV was delivered for us and the office held on to the keys until we arrived. The staff are very friendly. All spots are nicely paved with a picnic table and fairly private. The resort has a nice pool, bathhouse and laundry facilities. They also have golf cart rentals. We did not access the beach that was close by as we had our fur babies with us and are not allowed on that part of the beach. Dog beach at Pier Park is only a short drive. Several bars with live music and food within walking distance. This was a nice small, quiet, upscale resort. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to get rowdy this probably isn’t your scene. If you like low key, relaxing vacation spots like us I highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again.…
Great RV park with pool, laundry, dog park, ESW hook-ups & great office staff. Walking distance to beaches, St. Andrews State Park, bars, restaurants. Cars send you over the bridge to Publix, Winn Dixie & Captain Andersons restaurant. Dog friendly & owners respect the grounds. We loved our PCB vacation.
For the price, I expected nice bathrooms and hot water. Instead, tiny little shower stalls that were not very clean and barely lukewarm water. We arrived after the office had closed and while they reached out and gave us the code to the gate, they didn’t give us the code to the bathrooms/shower so had to wait until we found another camper in the morning to get that. The website has all these restrictions about the RV can only be so old, etc. and yet there was a unit where someone obviously lived there that was a mess—stuff all over in their “yard”, yard flag tipped over right in front. The unit next to us had problems with their electric not working so they had to run their generator all night long. The RV spots were level and concrete, which was nice. This was definitely NOT worth the price.…
The park itself could use some TLC. Landscaping and electrical pedestals have room for improvement. Have noticed several campers putting plastic garbage bags over the pedestal to protect it from rain. It’s very convenient to the beach ( a short walk across the street to beach access # 1). Sites are spacious, with full hook ups. On the down side, you will be subject to the quality of the band across the street at Patches 7 nights a week. Some nights a winner others, NOT!
The most expensive of all the RV parks we stated at. Some of the trees are over grown and will scrap the side of your trailer if you arent careful. Lots of ant hills so be aware of the ants will come marching in. We had problems with them 4 years ago too. Laundry area small. Pool nice. The beach across the street and down a block is the best thing about this park. Not real noisy considering your on a main road but we were on back road.
Trees are overgrown. Can not get a large rig in or out without trees dragging down side of camper and scratching it, or damage to roof and awnings. Sites are narrow to pull in and tires most drop off edge of concrete. The sand is washed out and you can damage tires or bend axles when trailer needs to come back up on to concrete. Also they do not honor pre made reservation. I made mine in April for $75.00 to $95.00 per night. i was charged $134.00 to $155.00 per night. I know prices are going up but not double and they should let you know ahead of time.
This is our second year coming to this campground. Where we will probably be back just because of the convenience of the area, there are several areas that are in need of service. 1. Trees are over growing and need trimming so they won’t scratch your camper. Several campers had issues getting into their sites. 2. Bathrooms/showers were horribly unkept. Hair in the showers and beach sand in the showers. Mildew on the shower curtains. Mildew in the corner of the shower stales. No toilet paper in bathroom stales. Just gross in general. 3. Pool needs a deep clean, film was floating on the top and the sides need cleaning off. 4. Grounds need up keeping…gate was broken, walls and fence were falling apart. 5. Electrical boxes are in bad shape. No cable hook up on our site and others that were in our group.…
We stayed here last year and thought it was great! The place seemed well cared for and did have the resort feel. Now? No. A resounding NO. Landscaping hasn't been kept up. Several people had electrical issues (one no electric the other it surged and blew out their surge protector) The pool is a disgrace! Algae, all over the steps and side walls and the blue tile around the edge is brown with crud from not being brushed once in while to keep it shining and clean. Several of the signs that tell you the depth of the pool are covered in this grime. Cloudy water. Those of us staying at the resort have taken upon ourselves to skim the pool due to all the junk floating on top. We shouldn't be helping with anything! They have a robot to clean the pool that is left in the water...not working...just left standing in the pool. Several days it was moving while the pool was full of guests! This should be done early in the am...not at noon when the pool is full of people! The dumpsters are overflowing. This is not what we experience in 2020 when we were here. Did this place change hands and that's why things are the way they are? They are no longer 5 star...as before...more like 2 or 3. PCBRV get your act together! This was once a wonderful place...now....not so much.…
