Driftwood Lodge is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. A large shady palm lined courtyard wraps around our beachfront heated pool and sundeck. The courtyard is where our guests find themselves making new and often lifelong friends. Throughout the year there are planned activities, ranging from cook-outs and sunset parties to Easter Egg Hunts and other children's games. Pier Park shopping and entertainment district is located within easy walking distance.

Hotel's Favorite
Excellent place, very clean. We go back every year, same week, same room. Everyone is so nice and we love the mom and pop joints. Oceanfront and they also have 2 pools and hot tub. Some people we met have been going here for over 40 years.

Close to shops, restaurants. Many things to do in the area all walking distance. Beaches are kept very clean. Tiki bar always a fun time. No one bothers you. Pools are beautiful, clean. Staff always willing to go above and beyond to help with anything.

We love staying here. We are never ready to leave when our vacation is over. There are so many amenities. We also enjoy the group activities provided for all by the Driftwood. The staff is friendly, happy, always smiling. We feel like family. We appreciate the daily housekeeping so all we have to do is decide how we are going to play each day.

The best place to stay on the beach. Family owned and owners are always on premises. Friendly staff, nice tiki bar with Lisa as bartender. Great location. Within walking distance to Pier Park and other local attractions.

I have been staying at the Driftwood Lodge since I was 2 yrs old. We started visiting in 1995, and have made an appoint to stay at least once a year since. Now, I am 30 years old, married and have a daughter of my own who started coming while she was still in the womb. She's almost 2 and has already stayed with us at the Driftwood 3 times with countless visits in the foreseeable future. I could go on and on for days about how wonderful the Gilmore's are. When we stay at the Driftwood, we feel like we are home. Everyone (from staff to other guests) is respectful, friendly, accommodating... I could go on and on. Not only are the people wonderful, but the establishment itself is just to die for. It is definitely an "at home" level of comfort for me with 28 years of familiarity, but from the family oriented, secluded/resort-feel intimacy to the beach level rooms, what else could you possibly ask for when you travel to such a beautiful location?! They've hit the nail on the head with their amenities and made it so everyone in the family can be involved and entertained. We will keep the Driftwood Lodge a family tradition as long as possible!! …

I was there with my 5 year old son and we had the absolute best time! Great location! Nice, comfortable rooms. Awesome amenities. Will definitely be coming back. We enjoyed the heated pools, the beach was steps away. The drinks at the tiki bar were delicious and affordable.

Do not book this hotel and then try to change the date for any reason at all. The owners will keep your money! You are not allowed to move, change or cancel the booking! BUYER BEWARE! You will be charged the first two nights of your stay MANDATORY which is NON-REFUNDABLE! I booked through Expedia.com READ YOUR CONTRACT and DON'T buy the insurance, it's a scam. It's only good for 24 hours.

I hope this note finds you well. Our hotel partners with Expedia and other booking sites, each booking site has a specific cancellation policy. Quite often, the rates quoted on these sites are deeply discounted and non-refundable. Regarding travel insurance, without looking at your specific policy I would not be able to comment, but the standard cancellation policy for travel insurance is 72 hours notice.
