Let me start by saying that I’m a Hilton diamond member. And with that comes perks. I checked in at 7:30 after a 13 hour motorcycle ride. I was so thirsty at a little hungry but very tired. I was looking forward to the little gift bag that diamond members get when they check in. This normally includes one or two bottles of water and a snack. When I asked for it, I was told by the front desk that the owners are not allowing it because of Covid. I asked about the sack breakfast in the morning and she said yes you’re going to get that. I answered, Why can you give me a water bottle and a snack and then but not now if Cove it is the reason. Then she relented and said that actually the owners just don’t want to give out the water bottles and snack in the evening even the diamond members. I was dumbfounded because that is a standard that one gets for being a diamond member. After I checked out, I called and left a message for the owners to tell them what I thought. No response. This hotel does not understand hospitality and wants to lose a customer over a water bottle.…
Stayed here for 2 nights while in town on business. The rooms were decent and clean. Internet connection was fast. My only complaint was no coffee maker in the room as there has always been - major inconvenience in the morning. Also, not their fault but breakfast was served in bag due to the scamdemic. I would stay again.
We had business in PC, so stayed here only one night. It is in a less crowded area of Thomas Dr., but convenient to a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Our room was exceptionally clean, with the "LYSOL" cleaning sticker attached to door jam. Plenty of towels, even a soap dish (rare in hotels/motels these days)! Because of Covid-19, there were no pads/pens, and no coffee pot in room. There was 1 pair of shampoo, lotion, etc 2 bars of soap. No hotel booklet. Enough for us, as we bring our own supplies anyway. Had a refrigerator, and ice bucket, ironing board, iron. The bed was comfortable, AC was working properly. Only thing that was a bit frustrating was the automatic shade controls -- for lowering or raising 2 different shades on the windows. But we did fine. Anglea at front desk was super, and very nice and friendly. There is no buffet breakfast, just a bagged breakfast, and coffee that front desk personnel pours and serves to you. There was no De-caf -- We did not take one of the breakfast bags, as we preferred to order from an outside restaurant close by and I went and picked it up, along with my De-Caf coffee. This was a nice Hampton Inn, and would stay here again.…
Hilton needs to inspect the Hampton located at 2909 Thomas Dr; Panama City Beach, FL 32408. This establishment should loose their franchise! They are a disgrace to Hilton! They are rude! (ESPECIALLY Employee Laura). They operate like a Motel. You have to bring your dirty towels from your room to the front desk to have new ones?? Like a prison! They do not offer ANY Hilton Honors perks! (ie: Water bottles etc..) This establishment needs to close down! Very Poor!
Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the time very much. The rooms are showing their age a bit, but the hotel was very clean and well managed with s very nice staff. Loved the location!! Great gulf views and beach access. And amazingly the breakfast offerings were decent for Covid times. I have seen almost no breakfast options at most all hotels these days, but this one at least made some effort. Don't get excited, as it is still weak, as options are few. But kudos to them for the offerings they do have. Only complaints were very weak water pressure, and a rather poor disposition from the woman working the desk the morning we left (I believe she was a manager, but not certain). Otherwise all was quite good.
