We have stayed here a number of times and always been pretty happy with the way things are run. Today ,however, the people parked behind us hired a mobile unit to pressure wash their RV. The noise from the pressure washer has gone on for hours now. In addition, we are getting overspray on us as we sit outside trying to enjoy our time here and watch some TV. When I complained I was told there was nothing they could do. They did send someone down but really if you are letting people wash their campers in here what can you do. So now that we’ve gotten so much overspray we need to wash our camper not to mention the racket we have put up with for HOURS. So I decided well I’ll go to the pool by the office. Well it was full of ants. I mean full. Couldn’t have found a place to swim if I wanted. Went to the other pool and it also has a significant amount of ants but I was able to find a space. I didn’t bother to complain. I feel like I was just blown off by the office. We paid a lot of money to come here and this is very disappointing for what we paid and for what has always been a nice high end resort. Not saying I won’t come here again because I will but there are things that need some consideration and change. …
Nice campground it’s kinda squished in the middle of the city. Most of the campers are friendly, the majority are there for months at a time. They have 2 dog parks and 2 pools. If you have a fifth wheel I recommend getting a pull thru site as it is hard and tight to back it in some of the places. The spots closest to the pond area are the nicest. But they are back in only. They are right up against a little zoo so if you stay in the front of the campground you are directly behind the zoo and hear all the birds constantly, which some people might like. And You are not far from a ton of amenities!
We arrived in a 42 foot motorhome towing a small car. They gave us a nice pull through by the office. It was not the best area, but it was OK for what we needed. The sites were narrow and close together. There was a new section with brick streets that was much nicer but it was a back in the area. They had pools, hot tub ‘s, and was fairly nice. The only downside was the Internet was poor and it was quite a ways from the beach. As with all RV resorts these days, I feel they are overpriced. It was over $100 per night.
We stayed at this RV resort for about 3 months. The residents and visitors were very welcoming and it was easy to book. We had to change our dates a couple times and the office staff was incredible in accommodating us. Brianna and Jenny were awesome! The park was clean, the grounds staff (Mike and David) come around frequently to pick up your trash, refill your propane or answer questions about your RV. The grounds are beautifully paved and sites are well marked. The dog parks were likewise clean and well-kept. It felt like a real neighborhood. They have pickle-ball courts as well as basketball and a sand volleyball court, all beautiful. Pool, hot tub, laundry facilities and work out areas also top notch. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
Grounds were well kept, staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this RV park for short or long stays. There only thing that would make this park perfect is if it were within walking distance to the beach, otherwise everything convenient by car.
