The place is a dump. Over priced. Roaches crawling around and super sketchy people that i believe live there yr round.. felt uncomfortable the entire stay. Is close to the beach in walking distance. Of you don't care where you stay then this is the place for you.
This property could be the pride of PBC. But it is an absolute hell hole. If you plan to stay here, pack the Clorox and brillo pads... a mattress pad & disinfected cover, pillows, bug spray (commercial grade is recommended) ... AND ALWAYS WEAR SHOES. Warning: sitting on the furniture (inside - or out) can be hazzardus to your health! We stayed in the kitchenette unit and the door fell off the oven when I opened it. I would have never used it, as it was probably built in 1942 and the last cleaning of the stove/oven unit was somewhere between 1943 and 1957. If the screaming of the constant, late-night, domestic feuding outside of your door doesn't scare the holy crap out of you, the police sirens and attempts at peace-making, followed by he-said, she-said, violent interactions, most certainly will. Although the staff took us for $50 worth of merchandise from our room - I will state that there were two FANTASTIC staff members that would have given us anything we needed - Like pillows, clean sheets, a blanket... (a broom, cleaning supplies...)... They simply did not have it to give... Because the place is trashy, run down, and beat to living hell. DO NOT bring any children to this place! It is simply NOT safe. This is a warning for anyone who books any hotel/condo at this particular location: Plan on upping you life insurance prior to coming here. You will be taking your life into your own hands as the massive, steep, and rickety staircase leading to the beach will challenge every muscle in your body as you make your decent.…
The photos Definitely make this place look nicer that it is. Staff was super nice but building is really run down and dingy, people sitting outside there doors smoking weed. If you want something even kind of nice, this is not the one. I disinfected the room and got extra clean bedding to put on top of the other before bringing my children in.
Stayed here for one night. This hotel is very old and needs to be remodeled. The good is that it is close to the beach and the price was good for the area. There is also dining very close. The bad is that it is drafty, noisy & the rooms are very small. If you don't mind outside noise and being in a small space it will do.
This is one of the worst hotels you can stay in First they used to be a good place until the new owners took over They now charge a $60 deposit and don't tell you until you arrive then if you complain the man behind the desk loves sticking his finger in your face and telling you if you if you don't like it Too bad Room was not clean No ice bucket No do not disturb sign Had to go to the office and ask dripping pipes behind walls You'd do better to find another hotel with better management and employees
