I have stayed here several times pre covid and enjoyed it. The restaurant and bar in the main lobby was my go-to and the rooms were cozy and spacious. I recently stayed here at the beginning of December and my things have changed. Check in was confusing to find. I was not fond of Nick, who checked me in. He seemed rude and like he didn’t want to be there. This surprised me because I’ve always had great customer service at PGA Resort I got one of the newly remodeled rooms, which were very nice. The bathroom layout is nice and unique. If you get a room by the pond, be careful because I couldn’t open the balcony door without mosquitoes getting into my room. I ordered a burger from the pool bar and it took over an hour. The burger was also not properly made and I heard other patrons around me complaining about the bad service. Overall, it seems that with new management and ownership, PGA Resort is not what it used to be.

Since Bill the resort Manager quit the Hotel has gone downhill. No one replaced him so therefore there is no one to complain to. The staff at the front desk have no idea what they are doing. Nick the so called manager needs some customer service training as well as the rest of the staff. They have no idea what they are doing and are rude. I have witnessed many people complaining.

A wonderful resort with great golf spoiled by shoddy treatment at one restaurant, The Butchers Club. Make no mistake, this resort is lovely and the golf courses exceptional but expect to pay a very hefty price. We visited as a Christmas present to one another and on our last night just wanted drinks and a couple of appetizers each. Since the bar was overwhelmed we went to The Butchers Club restaurant. When we arrived around 6:30 the place looked empty and the “hostess “ stood with her back to the entrance chatting with a server who obviously had nothing to do. After a couple of minutes a third employee pointed us out to the “hostess” who refused to admit us when we told her we would like to order drinks and a few appetizers. She was arrogant and rude, totality out of character with the many other wonderful and helpful employees we encountered during our stay. Incidentally, wines run $18 to $22 a glass and appetizers at The Butchers Club are correspondingly high, and as I previously mentioned, the place was essentially empty. It convinced us not to become members as we had been considering.

DO not stay in the club cottages they are completely disgusting and dirty. for 900$ a day you should not get a dirty and gross room and bathrooms with bugs and dirty shower curtains. Not sure how this place passed inspection, I should call the code enforcement office, would probably get shut down. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Not what they advertise!!!

Do not book at this hotel. I thought that it would be a great experience but from the day I stepped into the construction zone building to the time that I checked out it has been a disaster. No towels in my room like they were barely cleaned. No restaurant or bar area to go to except the diner which was on the other side. It's a modern hotel with an old-school diner??? Totally off theme. They tried to charge me a resort fee when nothing was open except the pool which I had no time to use. I called back to get a copy of my receipt and the front desk staff simply kept transferring my call to other areas. The front desk staff is clueless and rude!! Good luck trying to get anyone of the phone!!
