Our stay at the PGA resort was quite frustrating due to the following facts: A) Our golf t-times requests submitted through the "plan your stay" web form were ignored (no response, no t-times, although the web form confirmed reception of the submitted requests). If you go there, don't rely on the requests submitted being processed. B) Being contacted by guest services via mobile text several days prior to arrival (good). So we tried to figure out the t-times issues and get them booked and confirmed. Very friendly exchange over mobile text (that trace is still available) but over 4 days prior to our stay did not lead to resolution (still no t-times). Guest services told me multiple times that golf/t-times staff will get back to me, still nothing happened. C) Called and emailed golf office which couldn't handle our call (long waiting time with music ending up in the automated message that they can't handle my calls). D) Upon arrival at 8pm in the evening after a long road trip our room was not ready. Front office was surprised themselves as they had to get a junior suite fixed up for us which took approx. 1h. They offered us dinner to compensate for the inconvenience which was a nice reaction and a fair offer. E) Multiple mistakes in terms of wrong charges on the check-out bill. Had to go back to reception desk for the second mistake to be fixed after we had already waited in line, fixed the first mistake at the front desk and checked out. When I tried to do that, 3 front desk employees were exclusively handling about 20-30 new check-ins with no time/capactiy for me or other hotel guests with a requirement different from check-in. There were other folks with wrong charges on their bill. Had to wait another 45min to be able to fix the second mistake (which was again acknowledged and fixed). Overall this was a surprisingly bad experience I'm afraid. Too many things didn't work. Playing golf was nice and good. The chaos experienced and unreliability was certainly not on the level expected and paid for. Housekeeping and ibar staff were excellent. Up to 2021 the resort is completely renovated while being open in parallel. Not sure if this caused some of the chaos. The non-renovated rooms are fairly old.

We stayed here four nights in a two bedroom cottage. The cottage was nice but could use some updating. The best part about the cottage was the kitchen. Full fridge and lots of silverware, glasses etc.. The location of ours was within walking distance of the lobby for us. They do have excellent shuttle service 24 hours a day. The lobby and resturants were all good. Just remember that the 18% tip is added to all charges for food and drink. We didn't know that till we got our first bill and almost let a bunch of extra tip. I would not recommend playing The Squire course there. Its is only in fair shope and they are planning to gut the whole course soon. The Fazio course is much better but the Chanpions is the best. Also, remember it cost $135.00 extra to play this course on top of the green fee. My wife and her friend really enjoyed the spa.

We stayed at the PGA National on Tuesday evening and walked the Honda Classic Pro-Am Wednesday. This visit was a gift from my wife to me but turned out to be a gift she equally enjoyed - maybe even more than me. Thanks to our great experience at the Resort, we will be making the Honda Classic and staying at PGA Nat'l an annual trip. The staff was friendly and competent from the time we pulled in and met the valet staff until we checked out and received our car to leave. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food on site at the lobby bar and pool side was freshly prepared and delicious. Standout experience - when our valet took our car, we were greeted by a staff member that walked us to the front desk and helped us check in. This was an impressive and unique experience and immediately made us feel comfortable, right from the start of our trip. First class in every way. We'll be back!

We were travelling around Florida as a family of 3, we had 2 nights at this hotel and we were very happy we booked it. Rooms were lovely, fresh and clean, the pool was one of the best pools we’ve come across, the water was so clean and clear, it was the perfect temperature too. The staff were friendly and attentive, can’t fault this hotel.

The resort itself felt like a combination of luxury hotel and TGI Fridays. Strange vibe to say the least with the volume of people in the lobby at all times. It certainly did not feel exclusive or luxurious, much more like a family resort. The rooms were a bit dated, but not terrible and the pool was really nice. The landscaping around the property is amazing. The most memorable part of the stay were the friendly valet parking staff. Each of them had so much personality and interacted with the guests in a friendly welcoming manor.
