Originally built in 1896, The Breakers remains one of America’s legendary resort destinations. Renowned for its seaside glamour and world-class service, the 538-room, Italian Renaissance-style hotel resides on 140 acres of oceanfront property in the heart of Palm Beach. My husband & I enjoy vacationing in Palm Beach every year. We alternate between The Breaker's, 4 Seasons & Eau. All wonderful 5* hotels. I came this year with my daughter & there were so many positive changes since my last visit. Always an awesome experience as the grounds are beautiful & well maintained. Gorgeous & clean pools, shops & the most amazing architecture & landscaping in Soflo. As large & grand as it is, the attention & professionalism of the staff makes you feel like you are in a small boutique hotel. I was also so happy to see that you cannot use the elevator unless you scan your room card. We were 2 women & felt very safe knowing that non guests are unable to roam the floors where the guest rooms are. I appreciated also the complementary water at the desk upon request. The beds are so very comfortable & housekeeping was perfect. There were some disappointments due to covid: The spa was closed for massages, The Circle room was closed for breakfast & the house car was unavailable. No reflection of The Breakers. As always I look forward to returning because you are guaranteed an amazing, breathtaking vacation at every turn!

This a must stop when in the area. The grandeur, the opulence, the history and the beauty are beyond compare. Just walking around you can envision the people of the gilded age. A must see while here is the Ocean Bar which is actually an aquarium With clown fish and other tropical fish. The real star is the eel which hides in the sponges. When he comes out of hiding everyone gets a big kick out of him.

My wife and I booked thru Amex FHR for 2 nights and we are still smiling from the great beach, fine dining at the amazing Seafood Bar, the very cool lounge at the HMS and our upgraded ocean front room - stunning, the Grand Dame of hotels in Palm Beach. We have stayed at the EAU Palm Beach Resort and Spa and also at the Four Seasons which are OK but no comparison to the one and only Breakers

My wife and I recently spent our first year anniversary here. It was the perfect staycation and a truly beautiful place. The staff were also extremely accommodating. They also took all the precautions and made us feel very safe. I would stay again in a heartbeat — and maybe we will next year!

The service level is out of this world and truly exceptional especially considering this is Florida. The property is grand the room comfortable and the facilities excellent. They are also taking COVID prevention very seriously without going overboard.
