Couldn’t ask for a better place to be. Walking distance to the ocean, Worth Ave, the best restaurants, shopping and areas on the island. Extremely clean and updated room in a historic building. Innkeepers have attended to every detail including breakfast, snacks extra daily bottled water, keurig coffee in the rooms, fridge/freezer, beach towels, and there are onsite areas to test or eat inside and out. Having stayed at the other island boutique hotels this one is a treasure. Room decor is a little simpler inside but high water pressure, excellent air conditioning and the best location. If you have never visited Palm Beach Island know that this and most buildings are historical and thus the experience is such- part of the charm. So pleased with my stay here.
Priscilla at check in set the tone with a warm welcome to this hidden gem in downtown palm beach.the rooms were spacious and very tidy. The location is steps away from the beach, amazing restaurants and world class shopping. A fantastic place to stay while visiting!
We enjoyed our stay at inn. The only difficulty is to access the rooms one must climb a steep set of stairs, and carry luggage up and down also. As it is a historic sight they are not able to install an elevator. Other than that the rooms were clean, updated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A continental breakfast is available downstairs. The ocean is only a block away and the inn is in a lovely neighborhood. If not for the stairs I’d rate it a 5.
We had a great time during our stay. The staff was very welcoming and informative during the check-in process. We were fine with the stairs being the only access to the second floor rooms. Our room was comfortable and matched the pictures on their website. Bed was very comfortable, in room fridge and Keurig were nice and useful amenities. The Inn is located a short walk to the beach. The Inn provides Beach umbrellas, towels and chairs at no additional cost. Even though we didn't use it, they offer access to an adjacent gym at $8/day and off-site bike rentals. If you want breakfast, you will need to walk a short distance to the Surf Side Diner. We highly recommend trying it. Great tasting breakfast with great portion sizes. Here are a couple of "could be better" items. 1. Staff could be a little clearer on how the parking and parking passes works. On the website there is a lot of info about parking and passes for sale, but on arrival I was told there were no more passes available. 2. There seems to be some mixed messaging in how the snack station is set up. I thought I was told there would be additional items available at 9:00am (or 8:00am - can't recall the exact time) So I was up at those times and waiting for perhaps some pastries or brewed coffee, but nothing was done. There is a toaster and cutting board, but why are those there? Once again, great stay and we will return on our next visit to Palm Beach.…
This is a very small, old hotel that is about a block off of the beach. The lobby is downstairs and the rooms are upstairs, which could be a problem if you have trouble with steps. Even though the hotel is old, the beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the suite, and I slept on the pull out sofa which was just fine. We had a refrigerator and a coffee maker, but no microwave. That wasn't a problem for me. Downstairs they have ice, sodas, water and snacks. The internet worked well with no problem. We enjoyed our stay, and for the price in Palm Beach it was a bargain.
Honestly wouldn't even consider staying elsewhere when going back to Palm Beach! Stayed in the Queen Suite, which was still their lowest priced, had plenty of space for myself (pregnant), boyfriend, and toddler. Room was beautiful, quiet, and clean. The cleaning crew even set up my daughter's animals in a cute set up when they picked the room up. Front desk was friendly and super accommodating. They offer snacks in the lobby, free beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas to use and just a short walk to the beach, which wasn't crowded at all. $20/night pass to park on Ocean Avenue in front of the beach. (There is no full parking on site, so you do have to pay, but they have a few options.) No complaints here! Thanks for the great service and beautiful little place! Definitely a return customer. …
Was pleasantly surprised by the Inn..very friendly. Great location and beautifully clean ,large room! The snacks and coffee were very welcoming. Highly recommend a stay there to feel the charm of Palm.Beach
This is old smelly but clean place. Neighborhood is great , a block away from the beach. Looks like run by one person ( reception and cleaning). She’s kind. But this doesn’t cost $357/night. No way. And can I mention AC, it’s so loud, it’s impossible to sleep.
I stayed here in January for 2 nights for a work trip. The rooms are very cute and clean and the staff is so sweet and nice. I was running late and had to check in after the check in time and they called me and waited for me until I arrived. The location is perfect. Only 2 blocks from the beach and across the street is a very nice wine bar with an amazing atmosphere. The hotel also offers free snacks and drinks. I can absolutely recommend this place!
My boyfriend and I spent 4 days at the Breakers, and then moved to the Palm Beach Historic Inn for two nights. We were both very pleasantly surprised!! Fantastic location, a block from both the beach and Worth Ave. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and they provide all guests with plenty of extras (beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, snacks, drinks, fruit, Keurig machines, etc. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, and were far more soundproof than the rooms at the Breakers. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
