I didn't pay for the Hilton, bc no pets allowed, so don't expect the Hilton. Please mark if you find helpful. Ocean view with operable screen window, we never closed it. Dog areaS were clean & poop bags provided. Pool open & clean. Room 317, 3rd floor, no elevator: Floors: nice new clean tile. Mattress: clean, 2 protectors on platform bedframe. Mini Kitchen-cold fridge/freezer ready & necessities provided, including dishsoap. Good water pressure. Towels, Shampoo & Soap plentiful. Furniture was sturdy with rusted hardware (beach front expected). Nice doggie & xmas decor. Do research if you plan to lay on the beach, hurricane Nicole visited. Next to beach police across from huge minigolf place, easy to find. We would stay again! Obviously owner is caring & working to improve/repair. Older hotel, expect what you book: rated 2 star hotel, not 5 star, prices reflects it too. Recommendation: replace pillows & add protecters. …
The hotel itself is clean. You always see the housekeeping staff out and around doing things. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. Neal, the owner is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. However, there is a lady who works at the front desk, who is NOT helpful, or friendly. I don’t even think her face can crack a smile, that’s how horrible she is.
I was first taken back by the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. It was a bit much but at least it was clean. It's a well worn motel but fit our needs for a night. We had no issues out of the ordinary.
The bad, there was a spider in the bathroom and the grounds are dirty. There were cigarette butts on the patio. They don’t have roll away beds. The good: the location can’t be beat. Across the street is a mini-golf and there are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. I’m not excited about the beach as it was dirty too. The pool was nice as well as the beach access. The hotel is also affordable and they do take pets.
Go out on the balcony and watch the sun rise. Go out the front door and watch the sunset. Had a great time in Ormond Beach. The staff were awesome and the front desk(sorry cant remember your name) was wondwerful. cant wait to go back to room 317. and the food in town was great.
DISGUSTING!!!!!!! Don’t be fooled by the shameful misrepresentation on their website or third party booking sites!!!!! DUMP! The office is even an eye sore! Cigarettes on the ground everywhere… The door to the room looked like it had been hit by a Mack truck. There was an inch gap between the top of the door and the frame. The room had an overwhelming smell of chemicals (not normal) dorm size fridge was FILTHY and rusty, the microwave was filthy, the knobs were missing from the dresser, paint peeling off the walls, bed super squeaky, comforters FILTHY, the bathroom was atrocious! The bathtub has large rust and chip marks, the sink and toilet were dirty. The wall was peeling away from the foundation LITERALLY! Ew!!!! The ONLY positive thing I can say..and this is by the skin of my teeth, was that they agreed to give a refund through booking.com. If you care at all about laying your body on a clean bed or showering in a clean bathroom then DO NOT stay here! If you’re looking for a party spot and you don’t care then this is the place for you. NASTY!!!!!!!…
46 anniversary! june 2021 the people was nice, the view of ocean was great! the bad was didnt have elevate and no luggage racks,my husband had to get help to unload our stuff and we was scared to leave and go out, cause there wasnt enought parking spaces but i love the view of ocean and the balcony to seat and drink coffee. hazel from ga.
It's "okay". If you're looking for a place to stay for 1 night with direct beach access, an Oceanview balcony & a small pool then this place is ok. It looks like all the other tenants are meth-heads 😕. One girl with a very old, unleashed dog was arguing with the office lady in the parking lot as we were checking in. Apparently they're not dog friendly & they've told these people before yet they don't listen. I can't believe I forgot to take pics of the room, sorry. But I the shower still had sand & hair from a previous traveller, the toilet paper dispenser was falling out of the wall, there were only 2 pillows & crappy instant coffee. The rooms overlook the small pool & there is an outside faucet to rinse your feet after coming back from the beach. The beach is thru the hotels gate...clean, beautiful beach with the lifeguard station 1 building over. It's a good place just to shower & sleep & be on the beach all day, but I don't feel the other residents are safe...pretty sketchy people who look like they actually live there. Don't bring the kids. It was $145 for a king bed room for 2 adults.…
Outside, it looks like any old, somewhat rundown motel. My door, in particular was very tricky to use. But once I got inside, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was decent, with pretty decor, but the standout and biggest surprise was the oversized, very newly renovated bathroom! (See pics) with a huge European style shower. It was very pretty, as was the room, and I just got the standard with king bed! The lady at the office was friendly and staff accommodating. The location is perfect and it is front beach with a pool and also a separate outdoor party area. Chairs and large table to play games.
I booked last night to find out they closed and nobody answers the phone number provided on the window. I called this morning asking for a refund since I never even got a key to my room the rude woman replied it was non refundable. They are crooks
