We stayed at Coral Sands Inn this Feb 202. We planned on staying for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6 nights because we had car trouble. It is on a beautiful beach and has a large heated pool. We stayed in the high rise. These rooms have been renovated and have very comfortable beds. On weekends they light up tiki torches. Although you feel like you have been transported back into the 50’s here, it is def a family place by the sea. Restaurants and a Public’s are within 1/4 mile. You can walk there or ride your bike because there are safe sidewalks. The staff goes above and beyond to help you from the housekeepers, custodians, and office staff esp.. Tamara, Caden, and Kathy.

It was a drive to the track, but worth it. The prices everywhere down there triple their prices for the event to we tried the Coral Sands Inn. The rooms were neat, beds comfy, Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. We enjoyed the ocean and the pool on site. I would recommend going here for a vacation at any time. Friendly staff and if you needed anything, it was given to you without question. We loved it there! Looks better in person than the pictures.

I stayed at the Coral Sands in May and had a pleasant experience, however, I booked a stay for a family event on November 9, 2022. On November 7, I contacted the hotel because my event was canceled due to Hurricane Nicole. Ormond Beach was under a MANDATORY EVACUATION so I was calling to cancel and request a refund. The front desk agent said that her boss had not decided whether or not they would refund customers, but would call me back. I never got a call. I am currently pursuing a refund thru Hotels.com, but the same front desk agent (Georgia) is still hiding behind her “manager” and will not process a refund. I go to Ormond Beach several times a year for family events, and I like the location of Coral Sands, but I don’t think I’ll ever book there again.

This is our 6th visit here and it is truly amazing when it comes to views, location and beauty of the grounds but the cottages are in dire need of new bathrooms. It is beyond nasty and unsanitary! We had tried different cottages but unfortunately they are all similar. I would love to continue to come but if they renovate at least the bathrooms. Other than that it is a great place and the personnel is very nice and accommodating.

For our anniversary, I booked an ocean view RV spot - looking at the website and what was shown as an option when booking, I believed this was directly on the ocean. It was not. We are able to see the ocean (somewhat - mostly blocked by other RVs and block walls and condos). If you want to be directly on the ocean, book “ocean front” - and know those sites are ridiculously small. This isn’t a terrible place, but the price is more than I would pay for what we got. Reading other reviews they seem to want to blame the customer rather than learning from the complaints. Which is exactly what happened when I checked in.

Beautiful ocean view. Very relaxing! We had an odd room number with beautiful sunsets. Clean and updated rooms. Staff friendly and accommodating. Towel and pool exchange they deliver to room. Restaurants close. Pool had plenty of loungers.

This property is a gem. Staff very accommodating. We had a group of 15 for three nights to celebrate my 80th birthday. It was easy for people to fly to Orlando and then drive to Ormand Beach. Love the area as it reminds me of Old Florida without the hustle and bustle. Lots to do nearby. If you are planning for a group talk to Morgan who is a wonderful events planner. All her suggestions were excellent. Wonderful pool and the ocean is right in front of you. Sunrise on the beach is amazing.

We had a great few days at Coral Sands Inn. We stayed in a king/bunk bed cottage near grandparents in a king cottage and loved the easy access to the big, wide beach and fun pool! Laundry was a bonus, and the kitchenettes meant we could eat in most meals. Our cottage backed to the parking lot, but it was only loud when loud mtorcycles went by on the street. We did hear the neighbors talking early one morning through the walls, but just one morning. They still don't have cooking/eating utensils back, so that was a bummer but we knew ahead of time and figured it out. Using the grill out on the patio was fun and helpful. Things are a bit outdated but still comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, although we found phone calls to be very slow ahead of time. Be patient if you call because your stay is worth it! We hope to come back.…

We had booked in a different town and quickly saw it wasn't for us. Last minute computer searching brought us to this great hotel as an option. We jumped on it and so glad we did. Room was super clean and the staff was so kind. Right on the ocean - view and location couldn't be beat. SO glad we came.

It is difficult to rate a location during bike week. The noise can not be controlled and therefore, not included in this review. This is a very nice RV location. The office staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The sites were close but being right on the ocean definitely made up for that. The facilities, laundry, rest rooms were clean and efficient. My only complaint are the fellow campers that allow their dogs to bark incessantly. Although most guests with dogs are very considerate, those that are not ruin the peace for the rest of us!
