Cheap bed on beach but needs some updates. Good location to many great resturants. Beautiful area!!! Rooms small and dated. Kitchens are small could use facelift. Pools and hot tubs nice. Sauna not working. Close to ponce de Leon lighthouse, Disney and st. Augustine. Nice beaches .

We're currently staring here for a week. First, the rooms are dated. Our furniture doesn't match in the dining area. The tile floors are cracking and the floor wasn't very clean. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. One of the tvs in our room doesn't work. The kitchen is tiny! There is little to no stage... More

We've been staying here for 1 week each summer for the last three years. The rooms have not been updated but they are more than adequate for the needs of my family and I. We go for the ocean access, the pools, and the sun deck. How much time do you really waste in the rooms?? If you are looking... More

Place is dated, staff is rude, don't walk run away from this place being a former owner it's not worth the money , fees go up every year and we never see any difference year to year. The parking lot is very small limited parking and they let people park where they want and never enforce handicap parking some guy... More

This was my 2nd time staying at Plantation Island. I had a 1 bedroom on the ground floor about 4 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. No view or anything then. But quaint for my lady and I. This time we brought family. 4 adults and 3 children. Room 333 with a perfect view of the ocean and pool with... More

While not new, nor an exclusive hotel, here is a small, well cared for, neat, friendly Oceanside resort that makes guests feel welcome, remain quiet and private day and night, close to amenities and great property, both in visual appeal and layout. Neat, clean units with all needed items for meals, sleep, relaxing. Quiet! Cleanest pool I've ever been in.... More

We have been staying at AFV resorts for many years and this resort ranks as THE worst. Upon arrival we checked in and received our room assignment. When we opened the door the odor that hit us was overwhelming. The staff in an attempt to cover up the musty smell from very dated rooms had sprayed copious amounts of Odoban.... More
