This is an average Quality Inn as far as QIs go. The room and the bed is comfortable--the style is dated. The slough out back is littered with trash and the pool was non functional. The place is about 20 minutes from Epcot, but plan on a 1 hour ride in the armpit special if you

I cannot recommend staying at this hotel. Our room was damp and reeked of mold/mildew. Breakfast was bland. One day I asked the front desk for extra towels, which never arrived. I had to find a maid with a cart to get them.

I requested an early check-in when I made the reservation and they did tell me they couldn’t guarantee it but would try. When we arrived at 10:30 am at the hotel I knew getting in that early would not happen and the desk manager stated such. However she confirmed our reservation

This information is so hard to find before check in as it’s not listed anywhere which is annoying. We stayed at the end of November and there was a shuttle bus at 8.20am to Epcot and then you had to get a Disney bus or monorail/boat to any other Disney park you wanted. There was also one later in the morning if you wanted a lie in. There was also a few in the evenings, 6ish, 8ish and the latest being 10.30pm. Universal it was at 7.20am and pick up at about 8pm I think.. to be honest universal is 5 mins away in an uber or Lyft and costs around $7 so I’d save yourself the hour long coach journey there and catch a Lyft. The coaches are great as they’re free and the drivers are friendly but they take sooo long to get anywhere due to the multiple stops

Do you have smoking rooms?
I seem to remember an ashtray in the room I stayed in but I did not smell any cigarette smoke. Better just call the hotel. They are very nice.

Dear Holly, The Amway Center is about 20 minutes drive from the hotel with not traffic. If you take the public transportation, you will need to make several transfers and you will take to long. Taking a Uber or taxi will be the best option. Regards, Quality Inn Universal Studios area.
