We haven't been to Disneyworld in years. Booked this resort mostly based off the skyliner access. We were in the Aruba buildings and it was just steps to bus and skyliner. Rooms are just what you need at Disney, because you aren't in the room that much. We didn't go to the pool areas, but all looked nice. Also did not eat here, did read that the food wasn't good at the resort. Not a problem, you can take a quick bus to Disney Springs and find great food! There is a little fridge in the room which helps a lot. The only small complaint I have is that being so close the skyliner did cause a humming noise which did keep me up at night because I am a light sleeper, my son said he didn't even hear it. Wouldn't think twice about staying here again!

Hotel's Favorite
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Caribbean Beach Resort with two kids (6 and 11). Room was spacious and clean for a family of 4. The pull out bunk type of bed for optional 5th sleeper fits a child and was cute. Only negative were beds were a little soft and kind of cave into the middle and they needed more bartenders at banana cabana. Standout positives: Very friendly staff-from concierge, restaurant and gift shop staff to friendly lifeguard. Dedicated buses to this resort as well as one stop at resort next door were easy to use. Skyliner is accessible to resort. I witnessed a lifeguard save a child in distress and was amazing. The frose drink at banana cabana was my favorite drink of the week. I didn’t do much research beforehand and the hotel does not provide much guidance so here are some helpful tips: -the resort is massive so if you are far away from the lobby but close to the skyliner, there is an awesome coffee/drink/donut shop a short walk to skyliner to grab an awesome morning cup of coffee -in addition to drink machines by the main pool and restaurant, each “village” has one building with the drink machine. Go ahead and buy that $20 refillable mug at the lobby/grab and go so that you can have unlimited refills during your stay. -there is an internal bus shuttle. If your room is far away from the main pool/restaurant/lobby, take that shuttle to save a long walk. We had no idea about this until we noticed a shuttle while waiting for our bus to Disney -buses run like clockwork. Never had to wait more than five minutes. Never had a problem getting room on a bus -4 types of buses: internal resort shuttle, magic kingdom, animal kingdom and Disney springs. You can access other resorts by transferring at magic kingdom or using monorail from magic kingdom. -when going to Hollywood studios or Epcot, the skyliner was super close and so easy to use -since the lobby is so far away, be sure to stock up on water for your mini fridge. -while lite housekeeping is only every other day, they provided so many towels our family of 4 never reused a towel -the pool had pool towels available for guests -the main pool has games and activities until 3pm and my kids loved everything about the pool -the main pool has very attentive lifeguards and life jackets -if your arrival or departure time is before or after check out, check your luggage with the bell service and you can still use the amenities. We arrived at 11am, checked our luggage and enjoyed the pool. When our room was ready at 3, we went to your room, called Bell service and our luggage was delivered within 20 minutes. So helpful -your magic band will work until midnight day of check out. -if you used magical express to arrive at hotel from airport, they save your return flight info and provide a card day before check out with your airport shuttle information. Very nice. I would hands down stay here again and wish I had known all of these tips prior to arrival so I hope these help someone else!

Stayed at the Caribbean beach resort at the beginning of May 2023. We were not impressed. The food was terrible at the poolside restaurant. So bad we couldn’t even eat it. And for $16 for a burger it should at least be edible. The lobby is nice but the rest of the resort is a bit dated. Our room with two queen beds and a kids bed was so small. One of the queen beds had to be pulled down from the wall. On night one the toilet stopped working and we had to have them come fix it while trying to get our daughter to bed. On day 2 we returned from the parks at 5:00 pm to find that housekeeping was just getting to our room and we needed to change before a dinner reservation. They promise every other day housekeeping. I think they prioritize the rooms checking out first. We never tried Sebastian’s cafe because we were too afraid after the poolside food was so bad so can’t speak to that. Overall we just expected more for the price. Next time we will probably opt for a nicer resort even if it is more expensive because this just felt like we didn’t get the value.

We really enjoyed the contrast of staying in this resort after visiting the Disney parks. You go from the joy and busy atmosphere of the parks to a chilled out beach resort. We stayed in the Trinidad area which has its own pool and a convenient cafe called Spyglass Grill where you could get drinks, breakfast and snacks. It also has a refillable cup station. If you are travelling with young infants they also have a microwave to warm up baby food. Trinidad is very close to the Skyliner hub and a Joffrey's coffee kiosk just before you go onboard. The Skyliner makes access to HS, Epcot and the Boardwalk area so simple. We really enjoyed it. The hotel was very clean, the staff were really helpful and the transportation ideal. There is also an internal shuttle from the different "island" areas to the main lobby (we used this on the last day to go to the lobby with our luggage). We stayed in 5th sleeper interconnecting rooms which were ideal. Shower gel, body lotion and shampoo were provided in the bathrooms. In the evening you can see the Epcot fireworks from the resort. We also roasted marshmallows on the campfire and watched a movie outdoors. Mobile ordering is very simple and there's a good range of items available at the centertown marketplace. We would recommend and stay again. We travelled as a group of 10 with a mix of adults, children and infants. Thank you Caribbean Beach Resort!

Went second week of May. Stayed in the Trinidad area of the resort. Loved it! We weren’t too far from Port Royale but just enough to feel in our own little resort. The reception was always helpful with us. The area is beautiful (trees, the buildings, gardening). The pool too; we preferred the pool in our area as it was less busy but the main pool was beautiful. Transportation too was a breeze. Gondola was practical to go to HS and Disney boardwalk. Shuttle was easy for AK but long for MK. I found though that food choices were lacking a bit on resort. Sébastien Grill was good but too much food and the same menu night after night. They should always make sure family respect their dining time as they were late 20 mins for our reservation in the evening with a young child and the receptionist seemed annoyed by my asking when we would be called in. It would have been nice too to have daily room cleaning but I understand why it’s every other day. Overall we would definitely come back to this resort. Stayed only at Port Orleans and hands down, Caribbean Beach better overall.

Disney transportation rocked at this hotel. Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and Epcot was excellent. Buses to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom were great too. We always showed up a little early for all of the transportation and didn't have to wait. I was really surprised that after the Fireworks at Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic the transportation worked for this resort. Yes, the buses were full at the end of the day, but everyone stood and held on to the bars, etc. that needed to. Food court food was delicious and the way the service flowed with the buzzer notifying you that food was ready definitely made the flow of food pickup great. Main pool was amazing with the Pirate Ship for the littles and the walk in entry for the adults. We didn't try the extra activities that were offered at this resort, but think they would be a fun addition if you weren't hitting the parks from rope drop to fireworks every day. The last time we stayed at this resort was 1994. The rooms were dated but very clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the resort, transportation, food, and amenities.

We spent two days at CB in the Aruba area after a cruise. Although only two nights, we did explore a bit of the resort and felt that overall it was a good experience. Check in was easy and quick, we had 'magic bands' so they were pre-programmed when we got there with our park passes and could open our room when it was ready. We were early and their luggage storage is pretty slick, we called Bell services when we got into our room and the luggage came within 20 minutes. Our room looked to have been updated recently, with the decor and furnishings seemingly refreshed. The bathroom is tiny and while the walls and flooring looked to have been worked on it still have an old style tub and super low toilet. It was clean though and the big screen TV had lots of information about resort and theme park going's on. The room itself was a 2nd floor in the Aruba area, and was convenient to the bus stop and SkyLiner that is in between CB and the hotel next door. There is also access to the SkyLiner next to Jamaica, but those rooms are being updated. The resort is most convenient to Epcot and Disney Studios through the Skyliner which can vary on time - the quickest was about 10 minutes back from Epcot, and you can't take a bus to them directly. It's about 15 minutes to Magic Kingdom via bus. If you go to the fireworks at Epcot expect a LONG line back on the Skyliner. We actually went to the Beach Club lobby which is connected to EPCOT and took an Uber. For being a moderate resort, it wasn't bad at all - certainly not high end anything (other than drink prices at the Banana Cabana) but still as far as location, room condition and transportation options it was good. It's just a LONG walk to everywhere if you're not near the Skyliner stations.

The outside themeing is bright and inviting. The inside of the hotel rooms make me feel like I was transported to a late-70's Econo-lodge. The carpet is dirty. The area around the shallow tub is moldy. Paint is chipping off the walls. The barn doors to the bathroom area are noisy. On the plus side, the linens are clean. The toilet has a strong flush. The ski lift over the hotel buildings rattles quite impressively. You can hear it if you listen closely i side the room but I really think it ruins the Carribean beach themeing Disney was trying for. I've heard a lot of ski lifts and these are not the quietest. Those must have cost more money. It seems Disney had a bus transportation issue and decided to solve it with "cheap" ski gondola lift idea (thst again, compromises the theme). Overall, its economy and feels it. Set your expectations.

The only negative and why I had to take a star off is because the rooms are very small. Even though they have a fifth sleeper which is nice for families at five it’s very tight quarters for the whole family. When staying in a hotel, the pull out sofa allows for more space usually. But these rooms really are small. It didn’t really bother us since we were at the parks most every day and when we weren’t at the park we were at the pool, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, the property is beautiful! The pools were very well supervised by Lifeguards, which makes it more relaxing as a parent with kids swimming. The slides entertained my kids all day! The staff was fantastic! From the moment we checked in Bell services was very hospitable and so sweet to the children. We even saw Goofy leaving the hotel when we checked in. We didn’t see any more characters during our stay but they may have come while we were at the park. I asked for a room close to the Skyliner on the reservation and the bus stop and they definitely honored my request! It was very nice to be heard cause sometimes resorts don’t even look at requests. Jamaica building 43 is right next to the Skyliner and also the bus stop. Skyliner is great to be next to as well! The Skyliner was definitely a highlight of our trip! It was so easy and convenient and we didn’t have to break our stroller down. Each time we ended up with our own Skyliner because we had a stroller and five of us. We had such a great experience at Caribbean Beach and will definitely visit again! I highly recommend this property! Staff is friendly, it is clean, pools are fun, activities are fun (movie night) and Sebastian’s Bistro is absolutely delicious!!! We really enjoyed our stay!

Doooon’t do it! If you’re reading reviews, you are still doing research on where to stay at Disney World. When I walked in the room, my first words were “I knew I shouldn’t have picked this.” I gave it two stars for two reasons: 1. the grounds are nice and 2. the room is clean - as expected of Disney resorts, cruise ships, and parks. All else was a huge disappointment. The room is nothing but a converted budget motel room so I highly disagree that this is in the "moderate resort hotel" of Disney Resort Collection -- where rooms start at $340/night. This is where I really felt ripped off as I should have selected the "value resort" level -- where rooms start at $190/night -- as that is what we got. I was also looking at the "deluxe resorts" level ($500-ish/night) but decided against those since we are just using the room to sleep and shower. Opted for this moderate level as a compromise to ensure comfort but was truly disappointed. The room and bathroom were really small. The toilet was next to the bathtub - as in 5 inches away. Me, my husband and our teenage son - very light packers - had no room for toiletries and other standard essentials. There is no closet but a rod with hangers beside the sink. There are also no drawers in the bathroom but a shelf under the sink. They offer house keeping every other day so during our 4-night stay, we got one cleaning. This is not a big deal to us as we do support being green but this is more of a PSA. The wifi also does not work so you cannot order food from the room or plan your next day. The key on you app did not work for us. Had to walk to the front desk for key cards. There is nowhere decent to eat - just fast food style. We had to go to the Riviera, Boardwalk, and Disney Springs for a proper meal on the non-park days. So, I suggest that you either select a value resort or spring for deluxe level. Disney needs to change this category and the pricing.
