Nestled close to Disney Springs, the Holiday Inn Orlando-Disney Springs® Area, an IHG Hotel, garners compliments for its prime location and generally clean environment, although some inconsistencies with housekeeping have been noted. While the staff's friendliness is often highlighted, there are mixed feelings about the value, given the additional costs for certain amenities.
The rooms receive varied feedback, with comfort being a common thread, but some guests feel updates are necessary. The hotel's amenities, including the shuttle service and pool, are popular, but the shuttle's schedule has received some criticism.

Thank you for a lovely stay! This facility was very nice. Your staff was excellent! Shout out to Jose and Kelly. Excellent service for the breakfasts we had. The breakfast was great before we adventured out to the parks. Lots of perks if you book her and are IHG diamond. We got free shuttle and early entry to the Disney parks. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice. Beds comfortable. Pool area was nice with activities. Will definitely be back on the next adventure. You do have to pay to park. Hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel!

I chose this hotel for the reasonable price and because it was within walking distance of Disney Springs. If you are planning on choosing a clean hotel with the basic amenities and for the purpose of primarily sleeping while visiting Walt Disney World, then this place is a great deal. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, the resort fee was reasonable compared to other hotels, the rooms were spacious and clean but nothing fancy (which was fine with us). The hotel did a great job enforcing mask wearing and the lobby was clean. Of course with Covid restrictions, you have to request daily cleaning but they are quick to bring up anything you need. When I was checking out hotels on google maps, be careful not to get a hotel across the freeway if you expect to walk to Disney Springs, which is why this hotel is in a great location. If you are on a budget and need to feed a family, there is a McDonalds down the street within walking distance.

Stayed here for a work conference in January 2020. The property is in good condition and the staff were all friendly and helpful - especially the banquet staff, they took great care of our group and were very flexible with last minute requests for our events. The food and beverage service selections were on time, well prepared, and offered a nice variety.
The corridors and hotel rooms were nicely appointed and I did not encounter any service issues or challenges during my stay (other than some noisy neighbors one evening).
I did not use the fitness center, pool area, or hot tub, but all looked to be in good condition. The hotel is an easy stroll to/from the popular Disney Springs area.
If I have the opportunity to be back in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

When I travel alone I like to feel safe in the hotel. This hotel was well lit staff seemed ever present and the rooms were secure. I checked in late afternoon, the desk staff was efficient and got me to my room very quickly. The room was clean sheets were crisp refrigerator and microwave both worked. The room had a shower instead of a tub, shower grout could use some work. Other than that the room was a little old, but it was clean and very roomy. Upon checking in I told front desk staff how frazzled I was after driving four hours on I four bumper-to-bumper traffic, at that point front desk staff gave me two vouchers for two free drinks at the bar. Staff was Friendly and very accommodating. Had a drink at the bar each night everybody was wonderful. The breakfast menu for room service is very sparse not a large selection at all. But the food that I ordered was prepared properly and was very nice. If I couldn’t get a room at Disney I would stay here again.

Staying on property at Disney World can be an expensive choice, but this resort provides a more affordable option. Although it does not provide the experience of the Disney hotels, it has the convenience of its location a few minutes’ walk from Disney Springs and around fifteen minutes’ walk from an offsite shopping area with a supermarket and food options.
On arrival at the property, the greeting from the front desk staff was friendly and I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a “Firework View” room; however, on accepting the upgrade the staff member checked her computer, only to apologize that it was no longer available. The staff did offer to store my bags and I could wait for another upgraded room to become available, but after a long morning of day of traveling this was declined for the original available room.
The room itself was large and comfortable, but relatively plain without much personality. Although Holiday Inn advertises its green sustainability program for reuse of towels, it is slightly annoying when you hang your towels up as requested only to return at the end of the day to find that housekeeping has replaced them anyway.
The biggest issue with staying at the Holiday Inn Resort was not necessarily entirely their fault, however as they advertise the Disney services as a perk of staying there it definitely had an influence on the stay. The complimentary resort buses were not reliable to the timetable provided by the hotel which lead to extended waits at the bus stop outside. Luckily, the closeness to Disney Springs gave the option for alternative, more regular, buses. As part of the Disney Resort the hotel is meant to be part of Fastpass+ and Extra Magic Hours; however, this never worked properly. The hotel was not recognized by the Disney App, and although it was possible to take part in Extra Magic Hours, I was continuously getting stopped by park staff double-checking that I was entitled to be there.
I would recommend staying here for the convenience of the location at the affordable cost but the Holiday Inn Resort needs to be careful what they promise their guests and ensure that they can provide it.

Just stayed at this Holiday Inn for a little getaway weekend with a friend and we enjoyed it so much! The location is perfect and a nice easy walk to Disney Springs! Also super easy to book a FREE shuttle bus to/from any of the parks on a very comfortable shuttle bus.
Our room was clean and comfortable, loved the assortment of pillows and the blackout curtains. We weren’t looking to get up at 6am so it was perfectly dark. Also appreciated that we had a microwave and fridge in the room. Came in handy for reheating leftovers for a quick snack here and there. Great view of the Disney Springs fireworks too from our balcony. A nice bonus when we came back from the parks early one night.
The bar was a excellent perk too; good selection of drinks to enjoy in the lobby/bar area or bring to your room. Happy Hour was a great value and the grab ‘n go section kept us happy with late night snacks or a quick item to go in the morning.
Was a little too chilly to partake in the pool on this trip but the outdoor pool area was well maintained and looked like a great place to hang out on a sunny day to swim, play games, etc. I think the bar looked to be accessible from outside too with a walk up window.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we felt like it was safe and clean even during Covid. Masks and hand sanitizer were stationed throughout and I regularly saw staff cleaning high touch areas.
All in all a great hotel in such a good location! Can’t wait to come back!

This hotel was recommended to me and was a cheaper alternative to some Disney resorts while still giving Extra Magic Hours. Overall, the hotel is pretty nice and gets the job done. It is a comfortable place to sleep and rest after a long day in the park. The neighboring highway is noisy, and although the fireworks are still far away, it is nice to have a view of the fireworks from the balcony. The shuttles are variable. Epcot shuttle was quick and easy. It came relatively on time and stopped at two other hotels. The Magic Kingdom shuttle stopped at four other hotels before taking us to the Ticket and Transportation Center. We still made park opening, but it was a much longer and more crowded shuttle ride than anticipated. This hotel is the second stop on the resort area shuttle loop. We were not always able to get super clear answers from the hotel staff or Disney staff regarding the extra magic hours and the Disney experience app, but then Brian from the front desk was super helpful and friendly and answered our questions, giving us the needed vouchers for extra magic hours and providing us all of the information on the shuttles and more. Overall, the hotel gets the job done and is clean, a good price and the staff are nice.I would stay here again if looking to visit Disney on a budget. The pool area and garden are nice and you can walk to Disney Springs. Lunch from the hotel restaurant was delicious. The hotel has some Disney themed decals in the elevators and lobby, so you still feel like you are getting some of the Disney experience. It was a plus to have a smaller hotel instead of a large Disney resort - after being exhausted from the parks all day long, it is a quick walk and elevator ride to your room!

I have to go to Orlando several times a year for business and this Holiday Inn has become my home away from home. Proof: I have stayed at this hotel 28 times over the past 8 years. I even held a conference at this location.
I travel all over the world and you might ask what makes this hotel so special? Most hotels are the same: four walls, bed, bathroom, etc. What sets this hotel apart from all of the others is the staff and service.
The people at the front desk go above and beyond to help you, the staff at the breakfast buffet, and even the valet attendant are fantastic. When I checked in, I had already been assigned a room and it only took a few minutes before I was on my way. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Since I am almost always there on business, it was also very quiet even though they must have been approaching full occupancy.
The waiter at the breakfast buffet and I have become friends. Said is a genuine honest person and has a special brand of humor I really enjoy. I always look forward to our verbal volleyball sessions in the morning. The second time I met him, he remembered my grandchildren's names and asked how they were doing.. (one of my few trips to Orlando where I wasn't on business). He has remembered their names over many years. I am not just staying at a hotel but visiting a good friend. When we see each other it is like we were never apart; we pick up right where we left off.
I am afraid I am not remembering her name correctly but "Avita" (?) at the front desk (petite, intelligent, with a big smile) has been there the last few times I stayed and she even remembered my name after about 7-8 months. I just don't get that kind of special feeling at any other hotel. Midway through my recent stay I had to stay at another Holiday Inn property in Orlando due to the location of the meetings. I had never stayed at that property before but it paled in comparison to the Disney Springs property. Nice hotel and the staff was good but just not the same.
The location of this property is also a plus. If you are not staying at a Disney resort, this is the next best location. You can walk to Disney Springs and a Disney bus runs every 30 minutes.
I can't wait for my next trip to Orlando so I can visit with my friends again.

Myself, my husband and our 17 year old stayed for 9 days here, had a room in the Tower Block on the 11th floor which gave a view of Disney Springs (only a 10 minute walk away) and the nightly fireworks at Epcot !
We used the free hotel shuttle buses to/from the Disney Parks on most days, they were always on time and run upto 90 mins after Park closures so can even be used if you stay for the late night fireworks at Magic Kingdom!
Room cleaned everyday after the 1st 2 days of stay , included 2 free bottles of water which came in very handy in the heat.
Staff really helpful and nice, nothing was too much trouble..they even allowed me to make a quick phone call from reception with no charge, to the hotel we'd travelled from in New York with a query we had.
Used the a la carte service for food in the evening after a long day in the parks , cooked to order and ready within 20 minutes, we could take it to our food and eat and it was nice and tasty.
Pool good for chilling out, fresh, clean towels available at pool side
We chose this hotel because of the convenience of it being classed as a Disney Hotel ' and would recommend it to anyone.
Its also situated near Lynx bus stops so can use this service to get to other areas (including International Drive) We went to Premium Outlet for shopping on one day and there is also an IHOP and Denny's only a 20 min walk away.

Our students perform every year in Disney Springs and this hotel has been incredible! Mary and Kirk have helped to provide us wonderful rates and a great space to rehearse before our performance. They were available to answer any questions or concerns we had along the way! The hotel is so close to Disney Springs it is easy for our families to walk to the stage. In addition, it is extremely family friendly and allergen friendly. The kitchen staff was able to provide options that were both gluten and dairy free for my family's needs! This was a huge relief and made our stay so much easier! Thank you and we can't wait to be back!

Yes the resort fees are paid at the hotel. It includes a drink for each member of your party upon check in and I believe water in your room.
