Hotel's Favorite
Perfect location for loads of attractions and restaurants of International drive and the I-Con Park. We were a little concerned about staying here having read reviews here and on other websites. How wrong they were! We arrived at broadly 11pm after long delays at customs. George checked us in and what a lovely chap he is full of beans at such a late time. The room was ideal for what we needed and easily accessed, fantastic air con. The pool is a good size and well maintained plus there is a lovely warm hot tub. The reception and domestic staff were fantastic, Vanessa your our favourite. I had little accident which put me on crutches for a few days and again the staff were there for my every need. We cannot fault them, always smiling and up for a bit of banter. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff played a big part in that. We will be back in the future. Well where shall i start 1:Staff was 100% 2:Rooms was Clean and tidy(Clean towels every 2 days) 3:Location right opposite ICON PARK 👍🏼 4:Family room was Massive 5:Pool area (Clean & Tidy) & Heated You are right in the best spot for Restaurants and Entertainment….so this hotel is 100% Free Transfers to DISNEY & UNIVERSAL bus picks you up at stop 14 and drops you off same place

Lovely place very convenient for everything. We never had a car. All the staff we came across were lovely and helpful.Cannot do enough for you.I asked for a kettle and when we returned from a day out there was my kettle. Housekeeping was once a week but that's fine for me as I prefer no-one coming in to my room and I can do the tidying myself. Towels were replenished every 3 days but if you needed more you only had to ask. If you had any rubbish you just left outside your room and they would collect it. There is a little breakfast place for basic breakfast. A little shop which sold the basics (there is a Walgreens 5 minutes down the road. Very quite when we where there but they where doing upgrades to the rooms and outside. The only thing I would say is the beds are lovely and comfortable (hard matress but that's what we like) was when my partner sat on the bed the springs in the base keep making a noise. (We did see new furniture being delivered to the rooms) Lovely big rooms we had 2 bed 2 bath. Plenty of privacy for our 17 year old. Icon Park across the road with loads of restaurants. Shuttle service to parks (have to book online but very easy). Bus stop also outside the hotel. …

My Family and I recently stayed at the Sonesta ES Suites and it was absolutely wonderful. We got a 2 bedroom suite and it was comfortable, large, bright and airy. The kitchen was well equipped and we bought some groceries and was able to make breakfast every morning which definitely saved money. The bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own bathroom so lots of privacy. The location was great and we used the I Ride trolley to move up and down. The staff - Vanessa, Roxie and Gerald - were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Nothing was ever a problem. We would definitely be returning and have already told a few family and friends about the hotel.

We have stayed here previously in 2018 and loved it then. This time their cost cutting was shocking. We booked this 2 bedroom apartment as a bed and breakfast for 4 of us. (This was clearly stated in our paperwork which we showed at reception). On arrival we were told that they didn’t do the breakfast since covid but we could PAY extra to have breakfast items! This was something we had not budgeted for. It ended up costing us an extra $260. Also our 2 bedroom apartment was not cleaned/ serviced once during our stay. Even the bin wasn’t emptied. My husband had to take our rubbish out and put it in an external bin. The room was shabby, sofa was frayed to bits and our feet were filthy walking on the floor. I know that the rooms are due to be updated but that doesn’t mean other guests should have to put up with filth in the meantime. We received 2 coffee pods on arrival day. Previously these were replaced daily. Not this time. Apparently you could ask for more at reception but we were not told this at any time until check out day. It seems that this hotel is still using covid as an excuse to provide a lesser service. Yet the service fees were still as high. I understand that hotels etc lost money during the pandemic. So did I and so did a lot of your other loyal guests. Having previously recommended the Sonesta to people, I will now be advising them to book elsewhere.…

Thank you for your comments. Yes, a lot has changed since 2018. Yes, we discontinued our breakfast buffet back in 2020, replacing it with our Mourning Pour breakfast cafe which proudly serves Starbucks coffee. Thus far, it has been a hit with our guests. Especially since there is no Starbucks within walking distance to our hotel. Other items has changed as well as they have for all hotels. Currently ,we are undergoing a refresh of the hotel- all guest rooms, lobby area, and outdoor space. This will be completed by April of 2023. The hotel will have a new look and feel- we're really excited about it. I hope that you will give us another chance and check us out. We do appreciate your comments and sorry that 2022 was not up to par with 2018. Hopefully, you will give us another chance. Appreciate you all for being our guests.

Wow! We have just returned from an 18 night stay here and it was faultless. Really clean room, incredibly comfy bed, great facilities, perfect location and lovely weather to top it off! The highlight of our stay was receptionist Gerold. He was so kind and always had such a huge smile on his face! We walked through the main door and took the long route just to say hello some days. Our room was perfect size with a large fridge, comfy big bed, powerful air con which was needed! The cleaners came sporadically but we didn’t need them any more than they came. This trip was our honeymoon and we had the best time ever - really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool too! We would not hesitate to come back and are even looking at our next trip a bit sooner than expected!

We visited here for 3 nights. I was slightly worried due to some of the reviews. We had a 2 bed apartment. Was it dated- yes, was it a bit shabby yes but it gave you lots of space , nothing was too much for the lovely staff and the location was amazing . The breakfast cafe was good- coffee was good and selections were great for a Starbucks style breakfast, The shop was helpful when you fancied a drink or a snack and could not be bothered to go out I have seen people complain about prices of the services etc but it was reasonable for the convenience of it all. The laundry was a bonus and the gym and pool and games room all add to it. If you are on a budget and want space, friendliness and location this is good for you!

Brilliant hotel / appartments. All the staff were excellent. Room was great. Good pool and the hot tub next to the pool was great after a day at the parks. Loads of amenities. Very clean, staff could not do enough. Brilliant. Would stay again.
