I stayed here for a quick overnight convenient to the airport. I did not realize the shuttle was "on-demand', but once I called, it arrived within 10 minutes. The hotel is very nice and has a nice on-site restaurant. The facilities were clean and conveniently located and there was no airport noise.
Landed to MCO after a 16 hour flight. Was greeted by a horrible front desk agent. Female with glasses and long nails. No help with suitcase , had to move 6 suitcases myself. Loads of workers saw me turning a blind eye. Then at tge desk this lady would not give us keys, severe attitude. Being rude. At least got our keys and went up. The cards to the door were workbig but she blamed for deactivating it . Deactivation happens when you put the key card in your bad. Cmon. She had answers for everything. Asked for water she gave me four , u told her we are a family of 5. Sorry four only. I told her you have answers for everything. I truly believe she is not right for a front desk agent. She was the most unkind individual with negative aura. Why be so rude. Horrible horrible first night. Thank God only one night.…
I stayed at the Mariott Orlando Airport Lakeside back in September during my business trip. As a Mariott Bonvoy Titanium elite I was given lounge access for breakfast, late check out, and the standard two bottles of water which are appreciated. No upgrade as I used a Suite Night Reward for this stay. There was a restaurant and bar on site but I opted to just use DoorDash for my meals (some nice options nearby). A great and comfortable stay near the airport.
We have booked this room on short notice the night before we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The size of the room was enough for us, a family of five. No need to book two rooms. It has recently been refurbished (fancy brown colors) and the stylish room came with two queen sized beds that were really comfy. The room was clean and the makeup was neat. The pool area was also very nice. Too bad the pool bar was closed during our stay. We gave the hotel bar a try but the atmosphere was a bit cool, literally temperature wise and because of the decor. The breakfast was a bit pricey so we skipped that in the morning. We would recommend this hotel for anyone in need of a room near the airport, especially when traveling with young kids
Booked a night for a fun night out for my husbands birthday and with our kids. Keys kept not working, couldn’t get out of parking. Room was dirty. Daughters allergies got triggered badly DIRTY FILTER.
This hotel has a beautiful pool area, bar and great location. We arrived very late on Thursday and our room was given to someone else. The front desk was very helpful and assigned us another room. Very friendly staff at the bar. Overall , we had a great time and definitely would recommend this hotel
Everything is even better than it was before, (it's for an annual conference) and I've never had a problem worth reporting. Gorgeous, clean room. Heavenly bed & pillows (probably the best I've ever slept in!). Courteous, friendly service. At the bar off the lobby, you can order food. I had the best grilled chicken breast and asparagus in my life, cooked to perfection by Marco Gallo. He also works in the bar, and is a chef -- he was for me, anyway. I even bought the same thing again (when I knew he would be cooking it) the following night. He has an Italian accent and loves to cook. Whatever he cooks, I would love to eat! I was attending a busy conference, but due to the fine food and luxurious room/bed, I had the most relaxing of visits ever! Thank you, Marriott Lakeside!
I left something in my room. Yes, it was my mistake, but it can happen to anyone, and how a hotel handles it says a lot about the hotel. I called them and they said they would check with housekeeping and call me back. Great. They called back, assured me they had my property, and said they would be holding it at the desk. Great. Except it was all just a performance. When I returned, they looked at me like I was an idiot. They weren’t holding anything for me. When I mentioned it was a charger, they said they’d get one out of a box. Nice, except what I wanted was the expensive one I left in the room and which they had said they were holding for me. I didn’t go all the way back to the hotel to get a random one out of a box. Pretending they were helping me only made things worse. The bigger the hotel, the more corporate and impersonal the service. Smaller hotels don’t treat you like this. Don’t book with Marriott. There are so many other options within a minute’s walk.…
I had a late arrival into MCO and needed to stay one night. My room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. A lot of restaurants are in walking area and the shuttle service was quick and convenient. I would stay again.
Where do I begin? The first 90 minutes of my check-in had a fire alarm going with recorded announcements saying leave the building -while guests walked freely in and out of the hotel and this extended for a good while. Next, I asked my very friendly front desk person for a hotel room that was close to the elevator— I ended up at the very far end of the hallway. My toilet won’t stop running. I tried calling the restaurant at lunchtime so many times and nobody answered that I gave up and ordered DoorDash . The coupe de Grace was asking the kitchen when I finally got through on my fifth try if I could heavily tip somebody to bring my food, and they refused he asked the front desk and they said no they won’t do that. I wasn’t feeling well most other hotels the employees would be glad to make an extra 20 bucks just to serve their guests. That’s clearly not the direction they get from their management at this Marriott property. There are plenty of other Marriott properties in the area. I suggest you book one of those. March 14 confirm stay I’m likely going to check out instead of enduring another night here…
