We just returned from a 6 day trip at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness and loved it! For months we read tripadvisor reviews and recommendations so we have a few of our own!
Overall, the park was beautiful and maintained with little or no bugs...More
This was our second time in a Wilderness Cabin and the 5th time staying either in the Wilderness Lodge, a cabin or a villa. We enjoyed the privacy and the quiet it provided. We had breakfast in the cabin each morning which made it easier...More
Very impressed, as I knew I would be, with the Fort Wilderness Campground in the Disney Resort area. Very nice concrete, large sites (we rented a premium site) with charcoal grills and picnic table. We had a 30' travel trailer with a Toyota Tundra and...More

We took our large dog- chocolate lab to the Best Friends Pet Care for doggie day care. The price was very reasonable and ensured that our dog didn't drive camping neighbors crazy. It gave us the option to spend all day at the park without worrying about food, water, potty breaks or nuisance barking. Then picked her up in the evening to spend with us. The facility is about 5 mins from the gate to the campground. They opened an hour before the parks and stayed open an hour post park closure. We took toys and food. She squealed with excitement on her second day when we pulled up to the facility. She had a blast and was definitely played out each evening. I would highly recommend them. On our last day- we had her groomed before pickup. They did a fabulous job.

We've been camping for in the 1500 loop (pop-ups and tents) in our 16 foot trailer, no problem. There are only two loops in this price range, however and they fill up fast. Also, they are the only two loops without sewer hook-ups, so depending on how long you are staying and how big your tanks are, you may have to honey pot it to a vacant sewer site. Unbelieveably they DO NOT have a dunp station. We are always instructed to pull into a vacant site that has a sewer to dump the tanks.
