For the first time, we used Hilda, a Walt Disney World travel agent and full time guest of Fort Wilderness, to book our 5 night stay at the campground in our 45' motorhome. Normally I book our reservations myself but I was concerned with smoke from the area campfires and wanted someone familiar with the park to help us pick...

I would recommend the cabins to family friends. They are spacious with a full kitchen If you stay there i highly recommend getting a golf cart makes it easier to get around the campground. If you go during the holidays you can check out all the loops for Christmas decorations..

From the "cabins" to the tent sites, this campground is the best value for your money. Advantages: quiet and peaceful; sites with varying prices and hook-up types; convenient to all areas; activities within campground for all ages; access to transportation throughout Disney World; direct boat service to Magic Kingdom and Contemporary Resort from dock; responsive staff; good fireworks viewing; eat...

We (mom, dad, two boys—5 and 12) drove from Pennsylvania to Disney World, stopping for a night’s stay in South Carolina on the way. We pulled our 19 ft hybrid camper so that we could camp and see Disney World. We stayed for 8 nights. This is the most expensive campground we have ever used, but it is the nicest...

My husband and I and our 2 children age 7 and 8 stayed in the cabins Nov. 21-26. We had a great time. It was great to come back to the cabin after the park and have a kitchen and extra space for the kids. The cabin has 2 televisions and a separate bedroom. We ordered food from the Garden...

We were trying to do Disney World as cheaply as possible - so we booked a full hook-up sight and packed our little 2-person tent in our luggage when we flew down! I called ahead to make sure it was ok to set our tent up on this kind of site (as the designated "tent sites" were all booked up)...

We had a great Disney stay in the Cabins at ft Wilderness. We were there for 6 days. We had our groceries delivered which was a huge convenience. We ordered from gardengrocer.com and the groceries were stocked in the fridge and cabinets when we arrived. I was surprised that this service only cost $14 for most orders and if you...

Our family has camped in Fort Wilderness in a tent, then a travel trailer and now a motorhome. Each specific site is spacious and gives the allusion of privacy. This is a large, thought out campground offering paved sites with a picnic table. Easy access to very clean bathhouses and laundry facilities. Cable is available. Our family of four continues...
