We liked our room, it was clean and fun and well decorated, and comfortable. The lobby of the resort was nice, and the staff was wonderful. The food court was pricey and a little overwhelming/crowded, but ok. The pools were beautiful, and the grounds and...More
This was our 5th visit to Sports for 1 night for our family of 4.In general, we find this hotel totally adequate for our needs. Should they call it a resort?, probably not, but for a hotel, its fine. You will get all the disney...More
Staying here for the 3rd time. It's considered a budget hotel but they do not skip on the Disney quality, experience, and excellence. As a local and long-time Disney goer, I highly recommend staying at the All-Star resorts for your next Disney trip.
Disney needs to spend some time updating their All Star Sports Resort. Carpeting is old and well used. Furniture was adequate. Housekeeping was fine also. If it was a $55 room it would be fine but it is a lot more than that.
My daughters, grand daughter, and I stayed here back in 2009. It was so great to be able to stay on property. The room was very clean. I watched the housekeepers change the beds in a room of a checked out guest. They take everything...More

As folks above have said Disney Transportation doesn't run to Universal; however there is the option of Uber (download the app before you leave for your hol or use Disney wifi.) Alternatively Disney reception desks will call you a taxi. The cost for a single trip would be around the $50 mark, so is expensive. You could use Disney Transport to Disney Springs and this reduces the taxi fare to around $35, but still a $70 round trip. Maybe look at the cost of hiring a small car for a few days to work out the costs (parking is around $20 per day at Universal.
Hope that helps :-)
