Avoid this hotel if you are looking for a safe fun clean family holiday. First day of arrival we was given our room keys (1st room )and sent on our way to find our rooms on walking up to our rooms we got a very strong smell of cannabis when we had turned round there was several groups smoking this in the smoking area we carried on to our rooms the room was dated and in need of some tlc we got changed and ready to go back out once again as soon as you opened the door the smell of cannabis once again hit you before the heat this went on for a few days. We couldn't take this no more and went and spoke to reception and spoke to the manager Joanne she informed us that it is not acceptable for it to be smoked on the premises but it is legal in florida. She said she would move our room. We wad moved (second room move) we was put into the tower much better rooms and are the rooms that we was sold when booking the holiday through tui. Rooms was clean big and comfy. Then we had a power cut and the fire alarms alarming so we had to evaluate it was pitch black as there was no lights and they dont have emergency lighting everyone didn't know were to go or what to do as there was no staff there to help with this just lots of holiday makers panicking screaming and push each other along the landings we followed the crowd to the fire exit which also had no lighting and we was on the 4th floor so had to get down 4 floors of stairs in the dark with no one to assist we also had a wheel chair user in our party and there was no emergency exit plan for him so we had to carry him down in the dark on the way down we passed housekeeping we asked what was happening they didn't understand English so they couldn't help us they just carried on cleaning rooms. Once we got down stairs we all stood in the parking lot looking at each other there was not a manager or member of staff in sight so we all just stood there then the fire brigade arrived still no manager or anyone to tell us anything they got out the truck went to the fire panel turned it off and said safe to go back inside. We still had no power so still no lighting and also no elevator as the power was still down so we had to get back up to the 4th floor via the dark stairs. We called reception and was told it was a fuse that had blown it would be bk on in 15 mins so we sat and waited no power after an hour so we was sweating as no ait con. So we went down to reception which was full of customer's having the same issue and was told it was a small electric problem they are hoping to have it fixed in a hour so we went out got some food came back after a few hours still no power they said they would have to move people from the tower as it has blown a main power surge so we waited for a while but it was manic they was moving people to diffrent hotels with a tiny pool which is not suitable for children guest had to pay there own transport to the hotel and from the hotel the next day. We was moved to another room (room move 3) the room was dirty dated and horrible the headboard looked like some one had been eating it the bathroom was filthy the wooden floor looked like it hadn't seen a clean mop in months the TV kept loosing signal and turning off the safe was locked from the previous customers so couldn't open it we reported these issues to manager and was told someone would come and look wasn't fixed we had a man arrive to say he was here to fix my toilet that was blocked but i didn't have a issue with blocked toilet. We went back down to reception and spoke to Joanne the manager she said there is nothing else she can do during that evening we had people smoking cannabis on the balcony outside our room door lady screaming n running up and down the corridors at stupid o'clock in the morning The next day I had enough I went back down to reception and spoke to a young girl she said what do you want me to do about it so I said I wanted to speak to the manager they went and got a lady (can't remember her name but she had glasses and a knee support on) I explained everything to her she said to leave it with her and she would see what she can do after 10 mins she came up to our room and said she could move us back to the tower but the hallways have no power but rooms do (Move number 4) we packed and moved all our stuff back to the tower we're the elevators was now working but was pitch black. This holiday has been a nightmare since we got here it is sold as a family hotel they let anyone from outside use the water park so it is so busy and not a lot of room to move it is a accident waitting to happen. The bar is very expensive but over the road is a supermarket which sell drinks which you cab take back to hotel and enjoy the food is awful we had pizza It was dry and no flavour. I would never stay here again or recommend this place I read reveiws and thought can't be that bad how wrong I was There is a lady who works in reception called Angela she is lovely she opens the door when you arrive in a uber she helps you out the car with bags always smiling shame they don't employ more people like her here a real cridet to the bussiness.

Initially, my key fob didn't work so my little one and I were stuck outside at 1130 pm with ALL of our luggage. Then, my friend's fob wasn't working and all of her luggage was locked inside. The front desk clerk, Eddie, didn't seem at all concerned with these mishaps at all. We ended up canceling our reservation and stayed at a different hotel. Also, there were several people walking around the property. Don't think they were guests. The rooms were gross too. The conjoining door (that led to another room) has a handle that was extremely loose and the lock was not secure. I felt very unsafe. Anyone could have kicked the door in. There were teenagers running up and down the parking lot screaming. When we arrived another guest was complaining about her room as well. Do NOT stay here!! 1st time in Orlando and was disappointed by this "resort" 1000%.

This was one of the best ideas generated by one of the smartest women in my family, my mother! This resort was serendipitous and we were truly fortunate. It’s located in walking distance to a variety of restaurants from fast food to elegant, shopping centers that carry anything you need at bargains you wouldn’t expect, and entertainment for all ages even the teenagers had a great time. After enjoying our family functions/activities we retreated to our resort which offered complimentary wristbands to the awesome water park they have, which gives you both covered and uncovered play areas, arcade, snack bar, 2 pools, and our favorite the bar that serves adult only beverages “21 and older.” There were so many great options for our large party that we were so eager and easily excited about the next activity. I know we were probably a handful but Jazmin Castro whom was our Sales Coordinator provided us with a great package which accommodated all our requests. She was so patient with us but what was more impressive was the fact that she delivered on every guarantee she made! We stayed at the resort for 5 nights with the convenience of everything, at a price that’s so unbelievable you wouldn’t believe me if I told you! I highly recommend you reach out to Jazmine today to find out about the great package deals she can put together for your party! I was at peace and it made our family reunion event even more relaxing to know that we didn’t need to worry about going broke at the end of our vacation. This resort is one of our top ten favorite places to have a family reunion on a budget!

We have been here for 2 weeks and although had a couple of mishaps, these were dealt with pronto so I can't complain. First person we met when checking in was Wilmer (I think that's how it's spelt..). Such a pleasant chap and was extremely helpful in providing us with what we need and answering any questions. Seen him often throughout the fortnight and he is always smiling and happy to help whenever required. Got into our room and it's a nice room for what we needed. Basic, but clean and comfortable. To be honest, who goes to Florida to spend all their time in their hotel room? Don't go here if you are expecting a 5 star and balconies etc. I can say though, i found everything to be clean and fresh (and i can be quite funny at hotels but there was no reason to be!) The room has a hairdryer, iron and iron board as well as a fridge and a safe which are all a plus. We were also told if we required a microwave we could request this. We had a great night sleep and went out the next day. When we came back at lunch time, the house keeping staff had been in the room but hadn't moved the dead bolt back properly and closed the door. I was pretty raging at this of course because anyone could have came into the room when we weren't there and what if we had been out all day etc. But my husband went to reception and they were extremely apologetic and an agreement was made for house keeping not to come in our room and we would contact them when we required anything. I get people make mistakes but our second day there and it wasn't the littlest of mistakes to make. We went to the water park on site and my girls love it! As do I. Reason being, although my girls are older and able to swim etc, I was reassured by watching the life guards there. Every single one of them do an amazing job and take their jobs seriously. Never have I been somewhere and seen lifeguards do their jobs like these guys do! Even if someone they work with speaks to them, their eyes never leave the water. These guys deserve so much credit. The outdoor pool has been so refreshing too. More so at night time when it's a bit cooler. This pool is open til about 10pm each night and tends to get a bit busier at night as everyone has the same idea. Always a pleasant enough atmosphere though. Also, there are towels etc provided by the pool free of charge for use which is helpful. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel which is a buffet style breakfast. Plenty choice there but we didn't have the breakfast package and found IHOP and Dennys to be cheaper and more variety. But still, nothing to complain about there. The first day of our second week, our bathroom ceiling came in a little bit and was leaking. Again, right away it was dealt with and we were moved to another room after apologies. This was the first proper time we spoke with Angela as she came to help us move. We had said hi in the passing etc but didn't know her name or anything. Always happy to help and willing to go that extra mile. Can't pass without stopping to say hi and asking how we were etc. Angela, thank you for always being that welcoming friendly face. Tyler at the front too, he's a lovely soul. Told me about the little kitten we saw outside the hotel and how they've tried to rescue it but the wee mite is too fast. Anyone who cares about stray animals like that will get my respect. Hopefully you will catch it one day but I believe it's probably going to end up feral. Talking about feral...Unfortunately we had the unpleasantness of being awoken after midnight by 6 or 7 kids between the ages of 6-14 possibly, running feral in the corridor. They had tried our door and also booted it, alerting my husband who was still awake and in turn wakening my 8 and 10 year old who were hysterical by this. My husband had managed to see the kids who done it and was able to provide security with details. Obviously, we get kids will be kids, but where were their parents and why were they allowed to run about the corridors at that time of night thinking it's OK to behave that way?! Anyway, my husband was able to catch up with Matthew (head of security) and his colleague the next day for an update and they assured us they will deal with it and they won't tolerate this kind of behaviour at a nice family resort. They also assured us they would put extra patrols on the building giving us a bit peace of mind Apart from the minor frustrations we had, all in all we had a fab time at coco keys. The girls loved it and were never bored. My husband and I were able to relax knowing they were having a great time too. Nothing was ever too much for the staff. They were all very pleasant and helpful. From life guards to front of house staff, security, house keeping etc, you all do a fantastic job! If I were to return to Florida in the future, I would defo stay here again and also recommend to others. I'm sad to be leaving such a great place but looking forward to going home to my furry babies. Over and out x

We booked package with BA Holidays, on arrival check in we were asked to pay a so called Resort Fee,$151 per room & was not aware of this.TUI customers were advised not to pay. When asked for an explanation was told it was for use of facilities ie water park etc, piss poor reason. IF you have hired a car you will be charged $10 per day to park.We used Uber which was great & cheap. Only 3 towel change in 10days but you can request clean at front desk,no line change & room hoovered twice Special mention to Angela front of house, all ways there to open Uber car doors on leaving & return. 7yr old Grandson loved the resort. Left with a bitter taste over resort fee,in the 10 visits to Orlando Never Paid one.

Been here 10 days out of 14 so far and its been fabulous! Came as a family of 4 adults and 1 child. Rooms not bad, only thing I recommend is a wardrobe! Although we asked for clothes rails and gor them ASAP. Straight out of our door in the waterpark and bar area and in the main pool is a short walk away.
