We absolutely love staying at Floridays Resort. I always bring the family and the kids love the splash pad inside the pool. Very nice bar next to pool with great food too! The room is 3 big bedrooms. 1 king bed and the other rooms each have 2 beds. Tons of room and full kitchen! This place is a staple when we stay in Orlando. Ver highly recommended and very close to all theme parks.
We had a fantastic stay at Floridays. At check in, I was asked if I had a room preference and I said that I didn't mind a walk and would like a quiet room. The gentleman on reception said no problem and gave us a top floor room in block F which was the furthest block from the pool area... it was perfect. We didn't hear a sound for the whole stay. The apartment was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated the facilities in the apartment - a dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a decent oven and a huge fridge and freezer. Dishwasher tablets were provided and restocked upon request throughout. The pool area was fantastic - the pool was huge and my 4 year old daughter loved the fountains. Even on a busy Saturday evening, there was still loungers and plenty of space in the pool. Towels were always available too. I used the onsite gym regularly - I'm a keen runner so didn't use anything but the pretty decent two matrix treadmills. I would have liked a fan or the air con to be set cooler but it was fine. The WiFi was fine. Car parking was never an issue with airwaves in front of each block. The disney world resort was about 20 mins drive away and an easy drive. I would recommend avoiding the I4. The airport drive was also straightforward. The hotel is walking distance (0.5 of a mile) to a retail park which had a Publix supermarket and a Wahlgreens. The retail park was next to the Premium Outlet which was good. So yes, in summary, I would thoroughly recommend Floridays and will look to stay there again if I was to return to Orlando.…
We stayed for the first time and we fell in love with this resort. Is everything you need and more. The hotel was sparkling clean, the pool area is amazing for kids and adults, the bar drinks and food is great and the hospitality and service were outstanding. Shoutout to Josh Chyles, and the front desk employer for making our experience the best. Without any doubts we will be back for more fund. We fell in love due to: Perfect location (theme parks, grocerys, shopping, nightlife) Great Space Clean Great AC Full Kitchen Fun Awesome service. THANK YOU FLORIDAYS & Staff!!
We booked 5 days on this hotel. We read a lot of reviews saying the hotel was great, but our experience was very different. This hotel is far away from being a clean place. We stayed at building C. Every time you got close to the elevator (which was located in the middle of the building) there was a very stinky smell, we learned later that the trash room was right next to it, and by the way, door to door with our room. Once inside the room, floors were very sticky, and shower in the master bedroom has mildew on the walls. The faucet in the same bathroom was completely loose. 4 out of the 5 ceiling fans were not working at all. The dishwasher was not working. We had worn-out furniture that to be honest, was not only outdated but dirty. Towels at the pool had a musty smell and the pool water had very low levels of chlorine, which I find unacceptable in Covid days. I definitely do not recommend this hotel neither I'll be coming back.…
Honest review. Family visit (2a & 2c) 16th July-30th July 2022. Pros: Good location to the parks(roughy $12 each way to both Disney & Universal), outlets, supermarket & MCO airport. The apartment had a washer & dryer so no washing to be done at home & handy throughout stay. Comfy beds with clean feeling sheets although the main bed was comfier then the two smaller rooms. The apartment was large we had a 3 bed for 2a 2c plus balcony. Asked for a kettle arrived within 20 minutes. Fridge large but broken door shelves. Main pool good for kids on rest days. Free pool towels. One friendly bar guy (don’t know his name sorry). Easy check in & out with Angel & Angelica albeit a little impersonal. Bell boy (nice man but didn’t catch his name) took us to our B block on a buggy & helped with cases to the room. Gym ok. Luggage hold available. Shuttle bus to Disney but odd times so never used but may suit some. Huge car park. Security guys visable. The one night stay at a Universal premium hotel. So here goes the negatives: It’s filthy! I had to clean our room with cleaning products & baby wipes the best I could. Behind the beds was gross & the curtains over the balcony sliding door were covered in mould & old food stains! Don’t walk around with nothing on your feet it’s grim! We didn’t dare sit on the sofa or chairs as they were very musty & stained. The ceiling fans were dirty, old & had cobwebs on both in the room & communal areas. Half the light switches in the apartment didn’t work. We spotted 2 cockroach (small ones) in our apartment so all food was stored in the fridge. Our coffee machine didn’t work properly we had to squeeze the coffee out with a knife. We didn’t do much cooking but there’s limited crockery, pans & tableware. Complimentary shampoo/body wash/soap was poor quality. We could only get the apartment cleaned twice as obviously not enough cleaners despite asking four times. The pool area, gardens, lifts, hallways, arcade, palm snack cafe again all dirty. On day 2 out of 14 we noticed a huge fresh dog poo in the bush on the path side leading out of block B & as we checked out today it was still there! One bar guy is so miserable it put us off going to the bar hence we visited the bar 3/4 times over 2 weeks. The on site snack cafe is so slow, nearly an hour wait today for 1 pizza & we weren’t the only ones people were going bananas! The playlist needs changing! It’s literally on repeat & whilst we like kate Bush, Beyoncé & other pop tunes we’ve heard them at least 15 times & we weren’t there most days! No showering facilities around pool area for entry into/out of pool or in restrooms for check out day if you have a later flight. Although good location for the parks it’s not good for the rest of international Drive. The place has ticked the box for a visit to the parks, Discovery Cove & other attractions but we wouldn’t return. It needs a complete overhaul & thousands spending on it for upkeep, decor, contracts, structure & staff. How it’s so popular is quite a surprise we can only assume it’s the cost to stay compared to other places in the area. We ourselves had a Travel Agent book it for us based on reviews & location but next time we’d look ourselves & absolutely pay more for a better service, standard, cleanliness & a location nearer to ICON park.…
What a great resort. Rooms are a little dated but absolutely spotless. Friendly, helpful staff throughout the complex. We found drinks at the bar a little expensive but they didn’t seem to mind if we took our own drinks (soft and alcoholic) to the pool (as long as not glass bottles). Food in the cafe was reasonably priced and we enjoyed everything we ordered.
It was a perfect Vacation @ Floridays Resort Orlando. Many thanks to MaryLou. Your help was amazing. Very quick and friendly. We come back as soon as possible. Greets from Nina and Thomas (John Travolta)
Marylou was very helpful while at our stay at this hotel. The moment we arrived, we knew we were in good hands. I highly recommend everyone’s stay at Floridays resort when coming to Orlando. I loved staying here.
I would like to express my great appreciation for the exceptional service I got by Marylou at the front desk. She was very friendly, courteous and went beyond and above to attend to our very needs. She deserves 10stars I’m my book.
Front of house staff and bellboys excellent customer service. Badly let down by the suites, need a lot of fresh paint on walls woodwork etc. Our 3 bed suite hadn't had a good clean in a while. Dust on lamps you could write your name in, floors filthy and covered in crumbs and dust. Not worth the money, the 4 stars are for front of house staff and bellboys.
