I really enjoyed staying here! Our room was very clean and very large. The biggest hotel room that I’ve ever stayed at. The bathroom was huge and was split between two different rooms. One was the room with two sinks with a huge wall to wall mirror, makeup mirror too and the best travel hairdryer I have ever used, seemed like a regular hairdryer. The other part of the bathroom had a huge shower on one wall and a tub on the other. We called the front desk with anything extra we needed (towels, tooth paste, tooth brush) it was brought up immediately. The restaurants in the hotel are fabulous as well. 3 outdoor gorgeous heated pools and 2 outdoor hot tubes. It’s in a perfect location close to the airport about 15 minutes and it’s about 15 to 20 minutes from Disney. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! …
Very tough week for ourr family. Came to Orlando due to my father in law in the hospital while still going through this horrible pandemic. Hubby and I decided to stay at Rosen Shingle Creek because we've stayed there four times in the past and always had a great stay. I called prior to ask about their covid-19 protocol and the receptionist answered all my concerns which made me feel at ease. From the moment you enter the building, your temperature gets checked, there's hand sanitizers all over the resort, you have to wear mask👌Huge shot out and thanks to FD agent Crystal H who was so amazing from her warm smile and kindness at check in. Room was beautiful and very clean. Also, thank you FD MOD Miguel B for your understanding and giving us a Comp late C/O so my husband could spend more time at the hospital with his dad and didn't feel so rushed. Wished it wasn't such a short stay. Will be back soon. Oh, there margerrittas are a must try. So good!…
When my family & I arrived last night, the security guard at the front door checking temps was VERY rude to me for not having a face mask on coming through the door. After a very long drive to get here, my family and I headed down stairs to enjoy a nice dinner at one of the many restaurants here(which is the sole reason I chose this hotel ). To our disappointment, we found ALL of them were closed excepts for the burger place.... so we decided to eat there,...it took 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us & seated us(they were not busy....3 other tables there and ample staff) After being seated no one ever acknowledged us again, no drinks, no food, not even a “we will be right with you”....nothing! There were at least four staff members “working” but only seemed one of them was actually working. We sat there 21 minutes(My wife timed it as a joke at first but....) with only four other tables in the restaurant & eventually decided to leave hungry without ever being spoken to. So, left without options, we went to the store down stairs to get something to eat from the deli. I got a Philly, my wife got a chx Cesar & my daughter got a slice of pizza.. the philly was dry and unseasoned, the Cesar’s chicken was cold and unseasoned(didn’t come with a fork, wife ate with her hands when we got back to room, and my kid hated her pizza after one bite and threw it away(and cried because she was so upset)🤬....luckily we bought a few snacks (chips & nuts for the trip tomorrow) so for my $100+ that I spent in that store , my family ate chips & nuts for dinner!!!! The cook at the deli was very nice and the only slightly positive experience so far..... I have stayed here before and had a great experience. I don’t know what’s going on here now or who is in charge of it but this place has fallen so far off of the mark. I also want to say that I have NEVER taken the time to write a bad review....EVER! but my experience compelled me to do so. I have paid for another night already & I am leaving here today regardless. I am genuinely & whole heartily disappointed. Room 4107…
I love this place. We are in a grand suite and the room is huge! The property is gorgeous! Staff is super friendly and helpful. We are here on a cheer trip and they are very accommodating. The only thing I will say is that the suites should have a pull out couch instead of having to get rollaways but my kids don’t mind.
It has 3 pools and 2 hot tubs. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Big clean rooms, everyone there is helpful. Many stores inside clothing , accessories to food stores. Free rides to the parking lot. Fantastic decorations for Christmas, they even had a workout room and a game room Its a good place to go to be pampered.
