Rosen Shingle Creek boasts a variety of praised amenities, including diverse pools and dining options, set in a location favored for its proximity to Orlando's attractions. While the resort's festive atmosphere and family-friendly vibe, complete with seasonal decorations and a lobby aviary, are beloved by guests, the extra charges and high prices have raised some concerns about value. The service, noted for its friendliness and attentiveness, occasionally suffers from slow restaurant service and valet hiccups. Room experiences vary, with cleanliness commended, yet some find the decor dated and the air conditioning lacking.

After flight delays we arrived to find that we had not booked all of our rooms. The front desk didn't bat an eye, they immediately went to work fixing our resrvation AND making sure that our rooms were close. We were all exhausted and figured it would be vending machines for supper. The clerks walked us to the closest restaurant, that was open until late! There we were treated so well! No one complained that we were the last diners and the food was outstanding, especially the fresh made guacamole. The rest of our stay was wonderful with great advice from the concierge on how to navigate the city. We were actually sad to leave, the whole hotel made us feel like family and took great care. Highly recommend!!!

From the moment we walked into the lobby we were impressed.
Spacious, clean, fast check in.
We were accommodated from the off with our request for a slightly later check out of 1pm for when we left.
We were on the 14th floor with a lovely view of the pool and golf course. The elevators were quite quick too for a hotel this size.
We spent 7 nights here and enjoyed the pool, the food from Cat-tails bar and the burger restaurant inside the hotel. The room was clean and facilities were great - fridge, large TV, toiletries and hairdryer.
One evening the hairdryer in our room broke and on our way out we reported it to the desk, and by the time we returned they had replaced it.
Signs on the corridor asking for people to respect the quiet zone meant we hardly heard any noise from other guests, and were never woken up at night from this.
Location wise it is excellent for distance to all of the theme parks, malls and restaurants that we like in the area.
The pool was never too busy, and we always managed to find a lounger with parasol. They provide free drinking water and cups to keep hydrated which was very welcome in the July heat. Pool towels were provided which meant we didn't need to take up space packing these in our luggage.
We have said we would definitely return. The only thing that puts us off returning is the charge of $28 per night for parking which would add up over the course of our 7 or 14 nights in the future.

Overall though an excellent stay, to the point my husband ranks this the best hotel we have stayed at in Orlando over the 15 trips we have had from the UK.

My family and I had an wonderful stay at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel! We were impressed by the family-friendly atmosphere and the wide variety of dining options from the moment we arrived. The on-site restaurants offered something for everyone, and the little café was perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sundries.

Room service was top-notch, with prompt service and delicious meals. Our room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities made our stay luxurious. The hotel’s pool was a highlight for us, providing hours of fun and relaxation.

One of the best parts is how close the hotel is to Disney, with easy access to the parks, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway. There's even an ice cream shop on-site for a sweet treat after a fun day. Though it’s not directly on the ocean, the beach is just a short drive away, making it a great central location for everything Orlando offers.

Highly recommend Rosen Shingle Creek for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly stay close to all the magic of Disney!

Second year running we have stayed here and we will now not stay anywhere else in Orlando! The location is perfect - set in beautiful grounds in a lovely quiet area of Williamsburg within a security gated entrance. All the staff were super friendly and helpful to us. The rooms are spacious and once again our room overlooked the adult pool on the 11th floor. We choose to eat off property but having looked at the restaurant menus they appear to be reasonably priced. The pool area is fabulous - plenty of towels and the loungers are comfortable along with cold drinking water to hand whenever you need it. The hotel had two very large conferences going on whilst we were visiting, which meant the car park was very full and we ended up right at the very bottom. You can either walk through the nice air conditioning to get to the lobby avoiding the heat or take the little shuttle which is constantly riding around to help you. The room was clean and beds comfy! A must when away on holiday for two weeks! Overall this hotel is perfect and we loved saying 'Good Morning ' to the Finches in the foyer 🙂 each day. Thank you for another enjoyable stay and we look forward to staying with you again next year 🤞

I spend 110+ nights per year in all level of accommodations and travel to Orlando regularly. I'm middle aged and not high maintenance. Additionally due to my industry/company, I was required to travel during the entire COVID nightmare. I totally understand the challenges and changes the pandemic brought to hotels and have a great deal of respect for the hospitality industry as a whole.

Since it's opening; I've stayed at Shingle Creek at least 20 times. The staff are all well trained, professional, friendly and genuinely seem to want to be there. Honestly Hilton and Marriott could take pointers...

Additionally the rooms, public spaces and property in general is very clean, smells nice and functional.

Areas that have noticeably changed for the worst:
Guest room air conditioning was loud, not efficient and with a bad thermostat; had to be left on 24/7 to keep the room at 70 degrees. Air conditioning in general public areas seems weak too...
Only standard size pillows on king bed; kind of cheap.
No grab bars anywhere around the tub is dangerous.
TV in room extremely slow to respond with limited channels.
Up/down directional lights on elevators broken/burnt out.
Building exterior broken/burnt out lights.
Public areas missing seating/furniture?
Downstairs market was regularly out of bottled water and beverages. Hot food options are very limited and nothing healthy or modern.
Parking can be difficult when there's a large group on property. At $30.00 per night expensive when it's a mile from the guest rooms.

Shingle Creek is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. This is a world class resort. Every inch of this hotel is manicured. The lobby, pools, golf course and grounds look amazing. The customer service is impeccable, check-in was easy and employee we encountered was friendly.
Our room had great views of Universal's lit up ferris wheel at night. The beds were so comfortable and you did not hear any noise from the hall or upstairs. We were offered the Concierge room on the 14th floor. This has complimentary continental breakfast with gorgeous views to enjoy while you drink coffee.
The restaurant, Cala Bella had great views of the pool with a delicious Lasagna Bolognese, make sure you go hungry it is a large portion.
A Land Remembered has views of the golf course with fantastic service. I recommend the Chilean sea bass. The drinks and food at the pool bar were delicious too, not just burger type options. We ordered the Chimichurri Steak Sandwich and fish tacos, messy but definitely recommend.

A very average hotel that is very overpriced.
I dont mind having to pay over the odds in holiday, and in some countries it’s expected. However, the price of food and drink in this hotel is way over the top and the quality is nothing special.
It’s a business conference hotel and that’s it - don’t go there if you want to feel like you’re on holiday as you won’t.
The rooms are old and dated - the shower dripped permanently and the bath would just about fit a toddler. You don’t even get a free bottle of water in the room.
If you’re going to Disney or Universal I’d suggest you try and stay on the park or on International Drive as you’ll spend a fortune in cabs otherwise. There is a bus to Universal but that takes an hour!

I went with family to meet more family. This is a huge hotel best suited for corporate visits that need to house hundreds of people together. The personal aretrained to smile, but don't want to and many of my questions were answered with "I just work here". My elderly mother requires a room with invalid facilities for wheelchair access. The rooms they consider for this do not have lowered washbasin access, the shower is a normal bathtub which is an impossible obstacle to enter and even with assistance NO GRAB RAILS ! The only accomodation is a wider bathreoom door. This is all aside froim exhorbatant prices for everything including food drink and parking. Extremely dissapointed. Look elsewhere.

For the past 10 or so years we have always stayed On Site at Universal for our holiday, but this hotel has made us re think this for the future.
Yes, it doesn’t have the conscience CW of hopping on a boat to the parks as our usual hotel, but how busy the Universal area was generally for our stay we would have avoided City Walk if we were not in the parks anyway! Ubers/Lyfts were about 12 dollars so for how much less this hotel cost for MUCH better facilities this was worth it.
The pool area was great but just be aware the ‘quiet pool’ was anything but unless you find the sound of kids screaming and dive bombing relaxing! Always plenty of towels, lots of cold water and service by the pool or a pool bar for nice drinks and snacks.
The room cleaning was always good, no matter what time you left, you always came back to your room cleaned, which hasn’t always been our experience elsewhere.
For us it was the quality of the on-site restaurants that sets this place apart, we ate at the Italian one night after HHN as we couldn’t get a table anywhere in City Walk and whilst we didn’t expect much, it was excellent! We are there twice, steak restaurant and the Mexican, (best Churros and Margaritas of the trip), and all were brilliant, with really good choices and reasonable, (for the states and the current exchange rate!) drinks
We would definitely return here as there was nothing really we could fault with our stay.

The resort is a tremendous value. Self parking and taxes included, we paid just under $215 for the night. My husband did notice an unpleasant scent from the carpet in our room. Despite that one flaw, this is a a beautiful resort. The staff was kind, there were fresh flowers placed at the entrance of the hotel lobby, fruit infused water near hotel check-in, custom lotion in every public restroom… Countless little touches that you are used to experiencing in high-end resorts. There were value priced restaurants. Everything from extremely casual to fine dining and pool service with no resort fee. I don't feel the other comparable resorts can even touch this for the price. You would be paying multiples to stay at resorts that are one star in class above the Rosen Shingle Creek. Very impressed with the whole experience.
