Nestled in a prime location, the Rosen Plaza Hotel is lauded by guests for its proximity to attractions and dining options. The hotel's amenities, including a praised pool and fitness center, contribute to its high marks for value, despite occasional remarks about overpriced services. While the vibrant atmosphere is a highlight, some guests suggest it can impinge on a peaceful night's sleep.
The spacious and comfy rooms are a hit, although a few point out the need for modernization. Above all, the staff's exceptional service and the hotel's overall cleanliness receive consistent commendation.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed at Rosen plaza hotel for 23 nights in December. Excellent location at quiter end of international drive but minutes from restaurants and shops.
Check in was quick and friendly, room was lovely, furniture a little dated but high quality with plenty of drawers and hanging space very comfy bed plenty of plugs coffee maker and small fridge, room was serviced every day, on a few days we were still in the room but housekeeping came back later in the day. Towels and toiletries re stocked daily. Pool area was lovely, pool warm and area very clean, Towels always well stocked, hot tub.
Pool restaurant/bar was great if you didn't want to leave hotel to eat burgers fries ect.
We loved this hotel and woukd definitely stay again, there was a few events taking place but this did not effect our stay at all other than car park was busy. Security was very good. My only complaint was buying steak and fries for 1 person from Jack's place to take to room in a plastic take away box, $65.00!! There was a storm so Pool restaurant was closed and I personally feel the staff at Jack's took advantage of us, even tried to say we'd given the wrong money()not enough when we knew we hadn't, my partner explained exactly which notes he'd handed over and the guy just oh OK, I think we were taken advantage of, but I don't believe this reflects on the hotel its self just be aware of take away prices before you order from Jack's.

My wife and I stayed at the Rosen Plaza over Christmas and was not disappointed. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Rooms didn't have the usual tell tale signs of scratches or stains etc nor did passageways or other areas that we could see. Only gripe was the size of the pillows (too small) and the noise of the air con taking off. Breakfast was reasonably priced and plentiful and hot. We had Christmas Day Dinner which was held in the main ballroom. Very nicely decorated. Only gripe was the food could have been hotter but overall very good. There are a number of shops within the main foyer one open 24hours, very handy. If you are in need of information about the local area or tickets for excursions etc go to the Expedia desk next to the main exit and ask for MARISIELLE CASTILLO. She was very helpful and friendly and got us to where we needed to go. The i-ride trolley stops outside the hotel number 20 and only costs $5 all day. The three day only costs $7 and was better value. Overall the hotel was great and staff friendly. Would return again.

Just back from two weeks at the Rosen Plaza and had a fantastic time! Cannot fault this hotel and had everything you need for a great relaxing stay. Stayed over Christmas and New Year and location is excellent on International Drive. Cleanliness of hotel is really good and beds are comfortable and get a good nights sleep, Lite Bite is good for a quick breakfast and we were given a 25% discount card for use in purchase of food in the Lite Bite and poolside bar. Lobby bar offers good choice of drinks and has no automatically added surcharge, pool bar adds 18% surcharge onto bill, but we ate there on a few occasions and food was excellent.
We had the Christmas Day buffet and this was absolutely fantastic and the choices were excellent and staff were so attentive and great added touch was the photo booth. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed in lots of hotels along international drive over the years, but I think this is one of the best.
First of all you get free parking which is a big plus for us.
The check in was quick and easy and staff very friendly.
The lobby is large very clean bright and full of different things going on, from people buying coffee using the bar and store.
While we were there we noticed the hotel was full of business people as the conference centre was very close and also had rooms in main lobby that looked like different conferences were going on daily.
This made the car park very busy but there was always a space to park.
If you wanted time away from the parks and just wanted to relax buy the pool no problem as most of the people use the hotel after work leaving you with one or to people using the pool (great).
The pool is nice and clean a good size and pool towels were provided.
The room we had was very large, had two king size beds, large tv and a fridge.
It also came with table and chairs and free WiFi.
The bathroom had bath/shower and was a good size.
The only time I ate there was breakfast where I bought scrambled eggs and croissant from the store and it was great.
There was also a Starbucks in the lobby which was nice but service very slow.
The bars were very busy when I returned from the parks as lots of people had returned from work winding down this also included the pool bar.
The location was fantastic, close to bars restaurants stores and parks.
I had a great visit and I will be back.

Hello stesue2608, Thank you for your detailed review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. It is fantastic to hear that you loved our location in the heart of International Drive. We also love to hear that the parking fees included in your packaged reservation added value to your stay, in addition to our large parking lot. We are happy that you found your accommodations spacious and packed with many useful amenities. It is also nice that you loved lounging by and swimming in our swimming pool. While we are sorry to hear that there was a longer than normal wait at some of our on-site restaurants and dining options, we are glad that you were able to enjoy so many of the options we offer. We truly hope you enjoyed all of your meals and beverages. On behalf of all of us at Rosen Plaza, we cannot wait to welcome you back to Orlando soon! Stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas.
The good:
Hotel is well located away from the noise and hustle of international drive but close enough to nice places at the end of the drive.
The hot tub and heated pool was a great bonus.
The food served at main breakfast area was an excellent value for money as 25% discount can be used.
Shop on site was helpful couple of times, also getting 25% discount.
The bad:
Noise, noise and noise. If you are a light sleeper stay away from here! I suffered terribly for both weeks, even when using earplugs. The walls are made of rice paper! All rooms are interconnected, meaning zero privacy and zero noise isolation.
Floor's occupation annoying...loud families with loud kids, loud drunks etc. Awful.
Staff uninterested, unwelcoming and impersonal..especially at the front desk.
Cleaning was a massive hit and miss, most of the time a miss. Apparently the hotel has high standards and rigid training in place - did not see any evidence of either for the both weeks we were there.
Overpriced drinks in the bar, happy hour included cheap nasty cocktails and some rubbish beer served in plastic glasses.
The amount of single use plastic used at this hotel is shocking! No environmental consciousness whatsoever. We kept our towels hang and yet they were changed, despite of plastic sign saying if its hanging we wont change it.
No gifts to guests over Christmas..nothing at all. This hotel is incredibly impersonal and the word hospitality means absolutely nothing.
We were / are massively dissatisfied and disappointed with our stay, we had many issues at the beginning and under no circumstance will we ever stay with this orlando chain.
We do not recommend this hotel, the other large and well known hotel chains will be our safe choice next time to ensure we get the standards we are accustomed to.

We had a weeks stay at the Rosen plaza and are very happy overall. The location is in the middle of international drive which is great to get to the parks at both ends.
The I-trolley stop is just outside of the hotel for getting up and down international drive which is $2 per journey and the hotel gives you 1 complimentary pass per person, however we managed to get a few. The i-trolley goes straight to Sea world and Aquatica, and stops off right near Discovery cove. For universal, you can pay $8 each for a return bus near the hotel, however an Uber works out slightly cheaper if there are 3 of you ($9 each way)
The hotel is fully air conditioned and has a range of shops / restaurants. We tried the breakfast buffet at Cafe Mattise one day ($14 plus tax, including tea/ coffee/ juice) and this was good but there were small flies around the bakery section which was off putting.
The rooms were nice and had a tv, hair dryer, safe, fridge etc and the maid came daily. The only small issues were the beds were 3/4s not double beds so were a little small for those sharing, and there was no where to hang any wet clothes to dry and as the room was so cool with the AC they often remained wet.
Overall we had a great stay, however beware of the staff out at the front bundling you into a taxi that isn’t yours! We had prepaid for one and they rang our room to say it had arrived and started loading our cases, when it wasn’t ours, ours hadn’t even arrived!

Where do we start?
One of our first weekend getaways was at this beautiful hotel perfectly located between the theme parks. So it was fitting that we returned here on December 30 as we prepared for our wedding on January 2. We normally book our reservations through an online source but from check in to check out we are always treated like a four-star high-paying guest.
Ever since our wedding we return to the Rosen plaza at least one weekend a month because we enjoy the location so we can visit the theme parks the beautiful well appointed rooms and of course they’re amazing hot tub!
On many occasions we have been greeted by LIZ at the front desk who I think now knows us by name José The rest of the bartenders all know our favorite drink an ice cold Alcatraz craft beer and the local craft cider their lobby bar not only carries well-known namebrand but are also committed to keeping a local flair with local wines and local craft beer!
The security is present but not overwhelming the hotel always makes a family feel safe however if you have never stayed on a Rosen property you don’t understand the difference that the Rosen employees are not your normal hotel employees. From The front desk to the maid service the bell stand to the lobby attendant everybody seems to truly love their job and love to serve people.
On one occasion I actually had to get up and go to work early in the morning as I was wiping the sleep out of my eyes walking to pick up my car I noticed Mr. Rosen in the lobby when I asked the valet if that was really him he said yeah he comes here all the time... I admire this because this is exactly what Walt Disney used to do in his parks to maintain the quality assurance
Something very similar this morning happened to me I was walking back to my room and this gentleman in a suit thank me for staying at the hotel He asked me about my stay we had about a 20 minute conversation and I shared my thoughts and appreciation for the staff and everybody at the hotel he then introduced himself as Jay the assistant general manager It blew my mind because I have stayed at many hotels around the world and never seen an owner or upper management walk the hotels and greet guests the way that people do within the Rosen hotel chain is a local I not only Appreciate this but appreciate their commitment to the community their employees and each and every guest who walk through the door!
I highly recommend any of the Rosen properties this happens to be our favorite!

My daughter was playing in a basketball tournament in the South Concourse of the Convention Center Memorial Day Weekend. We live in Tampa, but the traffic during the holiday weekend nearly doubles the drive time. We chose this resort because it was listed on the tournament website and it was one that still had rooms available.
We arrived at 3:45pm on Friday. We easily parked in the lot and had a short walk to the lobby. The check-in line was short and they had several clerks assisting guests to move the line along quickly. We were checked in very quickly and given a BOGO drink coupon for the lobby bar. We were able to be in our room about 20 minutes after arriving in the parking lot. Our room was clean upon arrival and was a nice size. In room mini fridge and coffee maker. Lots of outlets for charging. This is probably the first resort in Orlando we have stayed in recently that has no resort or parking fees!
There is no direct access to the South Concourse from this hotel. It is just under 1 mile and you need to cross two busy road ways to get there. Once you get to the Hyatt you can climb up a staircase to the pedestrian overpass to the South Concourse. This was a pleasant walk with quite a bit of shade. This resort has many food options to chose from and they all seamed pretty reasonably priced. We chose to eat at the poolside restaurant and bar. Service was good and so was the food. Tip of 18% is automatically added to your bill.
When we returned home from our games, tired and ready for bed, our key would not open our door. The man at the front desk was very kind and sent up security and maintenance up right away to fix it. The battery had died in the lock. I know this is totally out of control and I thought they handled it very well!
The reason for not giving 5 stars is because of our last morning before check out. We left our room at 7am for an early morning game and would return by 9:30 to collect our belongings and check out. When we arrived in our room we could instantly tell housekeeping had been in our room. The toilet seat was up, the soaps were replaced and our tooth brushes and tooth paste were gone from the sink! All of our belongings were still in the room and we had not checked out yet. When I mentioned this to the front desk at check out they had us wait until they spoke with housekeeping. Housekeeping claimed we misplaced them and that they immediately left the room upon entering. I was offered a free coffee for my inconvenience. I know that this is just a minor inconvenience, but it is frustrating that housekeeping would even enter our room hours before check out time when we had yet to check out of the room!
We stayed as a family at the Rosen Plaza hotel for 10 nights in late August and had two adjoining rooms on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. We have been to orlando many many times over the last 31 years and have stayed in Rosen Hotels before, this was our however first stay at the Rosen Plaza and we were not dissapointed.
I really cant fault this hotel and the service we recieved throughout our stay, the hotel is really well equipped, spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic, we will definately stay here again on a future trip. We were travelling as a family of two parents, an adult son aged 20 and daughter aged 15 years so we booked two rooms. We asked that they be adjoining if possible having contacted the hotel via Instagram, the hotel accomodated this request and it worked perfectly. The rooms are large with two double beds providing plenty of space for us on our stay. The rooms were modern, clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee & tea making, in rom safe and lots of storage space. Housekeeping were great and the rooms were cleaned and rerfeshed every day with clean towels and toiletries which were really very nice. The pool is great with free towels and lots of sun loungers and tables to sit and relax. We didnt use the pool much as we were out and about in Orlando most days however, when we did it was clean, warm and a very pleasant experience, a lovely relaxing hot tub/spa added to the enjoyment.
Food wise there is a 24-hour shop and kitchen that does pizzas and other speciality sandwiches on demand, this is in addition to a variety of restaurants on site for breakfast, lunch & evening meals if you choose to eat in. The cafe appeared to be open every day until late afternoon and served Starbucks coffee etc, we managed to get a light breakfast every day with fresh orange juice, fruit, cereal etc. and coffee and enjoyed this sitting by the pool before venturing out.
There were no resort fees on our booking and I was advised that if we had a car we would have had complimentarty parking, we chose to use Uber & Lyft this time and it worked well with pick up and drop off at the front of the hotel under cover.
There is a on site gym and my son and daughter both spent a bit of time in there, it was well equipped, cool and seemed to meet their needs.
Every interaction with the Rosen staff was excellent and I would like to say thank you to them all for making our stay so enjoyable.
The location of this hotel is excellent, it is in the middel of International Drive opopsite the Pointe Orlando and walking distance from a large number of restaurants. It is 5 mins by car to SeaWorld, 10 mins to Universal and around 15 mins from Disney Springs so very easy to get around.
Highly Recommended, we will stay again.

Just back from a family trip to Florida. We have stayed with Rosen before but not the plaza.
I’ll start with all the good.
The hotel is easy to find. Plenty of parking. Staff are nice and friendly. Nice clean entrance/lobby. Plenty of lifts which is good. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. Air con or in our case heater in the room. Nice clean shower area. Plenty storage. Big flatscreen tv. Housekeeping every day which is amazing and overall a nice pleasant feeling about the place.
Ok the bad parts. Reasons for not awarding 5. The rooms themselves although spacious do not sleep 3 people. We have a 7 year old who has to sleep next to one of us as my wife and I don’t fit on a queen size bed. Not a biggie just be aware if like us you have 1 child. That’s our issue not the hotels of course. The biggest reason for not awarding 5 is the fact that you can hear everything. You can hear people in the corridors, you can hear people outside, you can head cars on idrive. We got stuck with a bunch of kids on our floor jumping around each others rooms, doors slamming, messing around in the corridor. We heard everything. When the next room ran a tap it was like the tap was on in our room. It may be different in other rooms but this was our experience.
If you are coming here make sure you have complimentary parking if you are driving otherwise it’s $20 a night.
Overall a nice pleasant, well positioned stay. Would recommend but if you are a family of 3 or more a bigger room would be better.
