After leaving another resort due to mildew smell, I booked a 3/3 here. The front desk was super nice/friendly/helpful. They couldn't find the reservation (I had just booked), and they were pretty full and not sure if they could find us a room. I was near tears, because our flight had been delay 5 times, we flew into Tampa, went to a crappy resort there, left and drove to Orlando. So after a really long day, to hear this - I was so upset. They were super nice, found us a villa and we only wanted "no stink" - LOL. Pretty simple. Was very happy with the villa. Smelled clean, appeared clean - winner! All the employees were super friendly and helpful. I spent many days by the volcano pool - loved it. We will stay here again for sure. Thank you for fixing a terrible beginning trip!

My family had a wonderful time at Cypress Pointe Resort! Location was fantastic as it was close to everything, but offered a relaxing setting. Staff was extremely helpful and polite! The grounds were spotless.

We stayed at Cypress Pointe in March 2021 in a two bedroom unit. We have stayed here many times over the past 25 years and always know that we are going to have a clean, spacious condo to come “home” to, and a huge (and warm) pool for the kids to play in. They love the volcano in the pool, especially at night when it’s lit up. It’s close to the parks, an easy drive or inexpensive Uber/Lyft. Parking is free/included. Free internet is 130+ Mbps. There’s also a free shuttle that will take you to the parks. We sometimes stay on property at Disney at Animal Kingdom when we don’t want to leave the “Disney bubble” and yes the rooms are more updated/stylish there, but Cypress Pointe rooms are every bit as clean, definitely larger, have a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms (in two bedrooms unit), in unit washer and dryer (there is a packet of laundry detergent for a single load in the room when you arrive) and CP is 1/4 the price. A couple of “cons”, but not really negative just to keep in mind.... the resort is part of Diamond Resorts, a timeshare company. They will call your room midweek and ask if you want to come to a two hour presentation in exchange for a gift card for dinner at a restaurant. You can just say no to the presentation like we did this time and there was no pressure, or you can go, listen and just say no at the end of the presentation and get your gift card and go. The other thing is, parts of the units are showing their age- like there are scuffs on the wood on the ottoman, and some scuffs on the frame of the sliding door to the patio- so nothing major at all but it’s worth mentioning that this place isn’t brand new. That being said, the carpet in our unit looks new/recently replaced and very clean, the couches and chairs are kind of a dated goldish color but the upholstery is in perfect condition and clean. Beds are reasonably comfy- you don’t crawl in and think “wow this bed is so comfy, I wonder where I can get this mattress!” but it’s not uncomfortable, just not notable. Pillows are comfortable, fluffy and not lumpy. (I know this all sounds crazy, but I hate flat or lumpy hotel pillows and hard beds. Comfortable beds and super clean rooms are the two things I’m very particular about in a hotel stay). Overall, I don’t think you can go wrong with a stay at Cypress Pointe. It’s not a brand new 5 star hotel, but excellent value for your money and definitely 5 star in the $100-150/night bracket.

My room is spacious and has it all in one space: bedroom + kitchenette + tub. Shuttle service to Disney parks is working great, just a few minutes away. At this time (Covid) we have access to the neighbour hotel amenities (Grande Villas) which is awesome (minigolf, fitness etc.) Staff is great. Just one tiny critique: a light door separated my room from the next one and sound insulation was very poor, some sound proofing would help here. Minor inconvenience as the neighbours were silent from 11pm.
