We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit ( 2 bedroom plus 1 bedroom lockout). Very good area to stay in-several restaurants and stores nearby. Everything was in working order and clean. Staff very helpful. Pool area very nice, plus we had access to the pools and activities at the sister resort across the road, even though we did not use them. They have security at the gate at night, which helped us to feel even safer.
This was a great family friendly resort that I recommend since it was clean and well kept. The room was spacious and full of all the amenities for cooking and such. It is also close to all of the theme parks and has two different pools.
This is my second stay at this resort. Both times I have been impressed by the friendliness of all of the staff. Check=in & out was very easy. I love that they offer a texting service where you can text the front desk with anything you need and they take care of it quickly. The resort fees are affordable. Parking is free. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The pool is great if you use that feature. My main complaint is the noise. All room doors are on the stairwell so you hear every person who goes up and down the stairs. If someone choose to use the washer/dryer it is also right next to the rooms so you hear the rumble as if it is coming through the wall. For the price, we made it work, but if noise is a big factor in your stay, you should take this into consideration. I would not have a problem staying here again. It is close to Disney and right next to Giordano's pizza, a gas station, and a drugstore.…
Overall, this was a very pleasant experience but was disappointed with the fact there were no restaurants on the premises or even vending machines. There was only a very expensive snack shop available by the main pool. Also, you had to request a day in advance to have the room cleaned and bedding changed. As a time share member. In addition, I felt there could be more perks for the members...at least bottled water in the fridge upon your arrival. There were a variety of activities for the members, while some were repeated often, others were not repeated at all. However, all in all it was an enjoyable experience.
The complex is run by people who genuinely do not wish to help which is extremely strange, it feels like whatever you expect, such as to have a clean room on arrival, is too much for them. Guests blast music at all hours and take drugs on the property night after night and there is no recourse. It feels very unsafe here and staff are completely uninterested in offering solutions or support and we have found exceptionally rude and disrespectful when issues are raised. It’s a very strange environment to be in, it feels like the antithesis of a “vacation resort” and like you’re not really supposed to be here interrupting staff members’ days in any way. There have been serious security concerns raised here and no one has done anything about it despite this continuing for several nights in a row. Very disappointed, will not be returning or recommending. Rooms are tired and dirty, taps are hanging off in bathroom, carpets are ripped, mattresses are filthy and stained (we have seen them being removed from beds and carried around the property), everything is damaged and marked and dreary. This property needs an overhaul, and staff that actually care about the safety and security of guests. There are no elevators so all suitcases must be hauled up and down multiple flights of stairs. Pool and hot tub are filthy. Windows in rooms are bizarre with huge bright lights shining in and blinds which do not fit. Don’t come to Cypress Pointe if you want to sleep or a relaxing break.…
Very mixed about this complex! Facilities are very good. The pool and pool area are great, fantastic jacuzzi! The on site take away do great pizzas. The rooms are spacious and clean but dated. Love the washer and dryer and the kitchen facilities are brill! Staff vey friendly and helpful. A very big negative was we were in a 2 bed with a lock off room. Obviously there were people in the locked off room and this is where it went bad! While we were there there was at least 3 couple in the room. We know what people do in there room is there business but when you can hear everything they are doing that’s when it gets let’s say ‘uncomfortable’ ( very difficult to ring reception to explain the problem)when you have children!! Then there was another couple when we had to report the smell of weed and there was a haze in the apartment. Again not good with children and especially with a child with special needs that has a low lung function ( what people want to do in their own time is up to them but when it affects others it’s very different ). In future we will go back to Mystic Dunes or Tiki Liki…
Upon check in, I had to switch rooms because a member of our party is wheelchair bound, and they gave us the 3rd floor. Second room had dirty sheets (stains) We brought our own Blanket so we didnt have to sleep on the sheets. The front desk did not seem to care when I brought it to thier attention. There was also some kind of dirt on the kitchen counter (brownish) Not sure if I will return.
It was a nice well kept property and parking was available with no issues, Didn't expect the resort fee though. Room was small for a Studio room. Unwelcomed the short pitch about attending a seminar for time share vacations.
The resort was nice with many pools especially if you went across the street to the other resort. The location was central to the parks and restaurants nearby. The food offered at the resort was average. The room was clean, but the biggest drawback was the bathtub, shower and sink were in the bedroom. No privacy at all and for that reason I would not return. The resort is dated with no elevator so you have to tote all your stuff up and down the stairs.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cypress Pointe. The room was well kept but the layout for the third bedroom was a little different ( shower and tub were exposed to the entire bedroom). Make sure you read the room description and look at pictures before booking a three bedroom condo. We were primarily using our room as a place to sleep as we bounced from theme park to theme park so we didn’t explore all the amenities of the resort. We enjoyed our time at the pool and hot tub. The menu at the cafe/snack bar looked good but we opted to go out for dinner on our free night. The resort is a time share resort, but after a simple “no thank you,” we were not pressured into a presentation. The only thing I was disappointed in was the shuttle schedule to the theme parks. The resort fee includes the shuttle and that was a major selling point for us because we wouldn’t have to spend money on parking at the parks. We were given the shuttle schedule when we arrived and, after looking at the times, were very disappointed. The shuttle went to each area park once in the morning and once in the evening. For the parks we were going to, the morning time was 30-60min after the park opened and the evening time was well before the park closed for the evening. We wanted to maximize our time at the parks (because we all know they aren’t cheap) so we chose not to use the shuttle and add the unplanned expense of parking. Overall, we had a very positive experience and this didn’t ruin or trip, it would have been nice to know earlier.…
