If you can stretch your budget more, go somewhere else. The only highlights are the location, loads of nice restaurants and tourist shops which are great for essentials and kids, and the free shuttle to the parks. Don’t expect any luxury or staff etiquette as this is in short supply. The check in experience was interesting when we were asked to present the credit card we’d paid for the room on which had subsequently expired by the time we made the trip, we were told that we’d need to pay again and refund the old card. 10 minutes of explaining to the receptionist that she couldn’t refund the old card to charge on our new card as it wouldn’t go through and why weren’t our passports enough to prove who we were as well as addresses on our driving license???? After arguing for long enough eventually we were granted a managers exception!! How nice of them!! Breakfast is nothing to write home about, you are better walking up to Denny’s and having a good one here and the staff can’t do enough for you.

This is just next to Wal-Mart n Disneyproperty. Thus excellent for public who do not wish to stay in the world of Disney theme parks property.it has small fridge so u can buy basic needs grocery like milk butter cheese fruits from near by walmart so u can head out to Disney theme parks.there are tons of hotels near Disney n lots of concession gift stores out side Disney property so it by really want to do a budget trip to parks these hotels are ur best friend. Shop around n call the hotel directly to find distances . Don't relay on their shuttle to parks as it varies a lot from season to season. Be ready with uber / LYFT at all times. This is a basic needs hotel. Ignore the dirt or non English speaking staff . Just call 0 for ur needs as no one understands English except the front desk people . Laundry is tricky but ask for help they should help as i did receive one. If not just ask more .lots of sit down break Fast food restaurants around .

We stayed for 4 nights after booking what we believed to be 2 x SUPERIOR suites (North Tower) with Love Holidays. Turns out we got 2 x High Floor rooms in South Tower - apparently these are Superior ROOMS?? Anyhoo, we were on 12th Floor and got connecting rooms as requested :). We were able to check in to one room early so that was good. Reception can be a bit hit and miss with the Receptionist sometimes blatantly ignoring a queue of guests waiting to be served but appearing swiftly for other staff, this was a bit frustrating after a long drive. That said, we also had a lovely lady help us too. There are two lifts and the wait could be quite a while, you need your door card key to access the your floor number, put card in push floor number and pull it straight out. Our rooms were acceptably clean (housekeepers were very pleasant and a credit to the hotel) but as other reviews have stated the decor and carpets are very outdated and old. The beds were comfy and sheets were fresh. The air con in both our rooms were very, very noisy and this affected quality of sleep as it was far too hot to turn them off at night. Small fridge in the room was good for keeping water and soda cold. Breakfast was sadly a free for all with far too few tables to accommodate the number or rooms, the wait for making waffles was over 20 mins on the day we attempted breakfast. The fruit ran out very quickly, especially bananas. There was a selection of breads, bagels and doughnuts, yoghurt, waffles and pancakes(make your own), cereals, boiled eggs, spreads, juice and coffee. You can take your food back to the room or eat in the hotel lobby if you liked. Bar doesn't open until 5pm. Pool was ok and thankfully not too busy when we visited pool towels are collected from a bin near the pool. Shuttles to the parks were very busy and came back a bit too early for us. The iTrolley and Link Bus stops are on the road right outside the hotel. Overall for the price this hotel is ok just don't expect 5*.

After reading reviews of this hotel, I was very worried about staying here. I needn’t have worried, although there are positives and some negatives about staying here. I went with my husband, two children and my brother. We stayed in a suite in the north tower. Upon check in we were greeted by lovely gentlemen, who processed our room in a quick and friendly manner. This was much appreciated after a very difficult flight (the entertainment system was broken and an adult male soiled himself on numerous occasions, as well as the toilet walls on the plane). The room was suitable for our stay, it could use some modernising; however we felt it was suitable for our needs. We had a lake view which was beautiful, except for the fact that it seems to have rubbish pumped into it everyday-not sure if it’s from the hotel or not. There are turtles in that lake and polluting it so should be a crime. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were okay for me. The room size was great. The champagne breakfast offered by the hotel was a nice facility. Although it was a bit repetitive, the hotel did try to change it up a bit by offering different fruits and omelettes on some days instead of boiled eggs. I felt that you didn’t really need more than bread or cereal as you have a kitchen in your room to cook a full breakfast if that’s what you want. When you want to get to the parks early in the morning, you only really have time to grab something quick anyway. We did go to Walmart and get a pan, some plates and cutlery for under $10 to cook a breakfast. The pool was okay. There weren’t enough sun beds on one of the days we stayed at the hotel for ‘rest’ day. Additionally, there were cockroaches swimming in the pool. I understand that the nasty little things can get anywhere; however, I went to the reception desk to report it and even though the lady at the desk said that she would call maintenance to come, they never did. Children at the pool (two of them mine) used plastic cups to fish them out and threw them over the balcony (not with the cups). For me, it is unacceptable that nobody came to deal with that issue as it is a huge hygiene problem. We decided to use Volcano Bay for days resting from the parks as it is so close to the hotel. House keeping seemed to be to a high standard for the first week. We left a tip for the maid in coins and left a note say that it was a tip. However, she didn’t take it. I put it down to the complaints on here where guests were coins being taken. I thought it was universal knowledge that coins left on the table are for tips. During the second week, we had days where no towels were left or only 3 for 5 of us. We had a few days where we weren’t given toilet paper and had to go and get some from reception. It may also be a good idea to inform house keeping that they shouldn’t leave their key card inside somebodies room. It’s a good job we are honest people and took it straight to reception to hand it in. Some constructive feedback for house keeping, when you haven’t left enough towels in a guest’s room and they come and inform you and ask for some, don’t shrug your shoulders and turn around-ignoring them. When you are then asked a second time, laugh at the guest and say, “yeah, well...” Then, when you’re asked a third time for towels because you didn’t leave any, huff, roll your eyes and tut before providing them. It may also be more professional if the house keeping team weren’t talking on their mobile phones whilst doing their job. Also, not shouting down the corridors at 6 in the morning to each other. One night during our stay, we forgot to put the inside lock on our door. My brother was sleep walking and ended up locking himself out of the room (in his boxers, too!). We hadn’t heard him knocking from the bedroom, however somebody had and called the front desk. A manager came up and my brother explained that he’d been locked out whilst sleepwalking. The manager told him there was nothing they could do. When my brother said, “Okay, I’ll have to keep banging on the door louder so somebody will hear me then shall I? That may wake people up in other rooms.” The manager said, “Okay.” Then went into the lift and left him to it. That is not good customer service! Although we had a couple of negative issues, the hotel generally is a good place to stay. I believe they are listening comments on here to improve. It appears as though they still have a few Negative Nellies employed, but it seems as though there have been improvements when considered against trip advisor reviews. Another piece of constructive criticism, when guests inform the reception that they have a special occasion (we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary) and they ask for some champagne glasses, it may be nice to be able to offer these rather having plastic glasses or suggesting we drink it out of the bottle-very uncivilised. Also, the use of single-use plastic could be cut down. It’s not a very environmentally-friendly hotel. Paper coffee cups wrapped in plastic-unnecessary. Surely, supplying ceramic cups, plates and cutlery in the rooms would be more cost effective and better for the environment. You hold deposits for the rooms, so you’d have a guarantee if any were broken. All in all, I would stay here again. The location is great and the mixture of self-catering with breakfast supplied is a bonus. The free shuttles are great addition, too.

Hotel is nice but don't bank on a real continental breakfast. Take your family out for a decent meal with hot options. Also the are only 2 elevators so there can be a wait time being that the hotel is near all the theme parks. Other than that it's a decent hotel in a great location. Lots of food options within walking distance.
