We are DVC members with shares at both Saratoga Springs Resort and the NEW Villas at Disney`s Grand Floridian. On a recent 9 night trip in June 2013 we decided to stay at The Villas at Disney`s Wilderness Lodge for the first time. In most regards the resort was wonderful. The stunning 8 story lobby of the main lodge sets... More

Please do your research, as this may or may not be the perfect hotel for you as it is a Disney Vacation (DVC) resort, adjacent to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. If you are looking for the ultimate in Disney theming, location, setting, relaxation and service, look no further. On Bay Lake, with boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom, Fort Wilderness and... We stayed a week after staying at Bay Lake, we found our room small (2 bedroom) and the Balcony very small my Husband did not like it as soon as he stepped in it. Which was a shame because the communal areas are just fantastic as are the pools and the main reception area. My daughters loved the small pool... More

We have never stayed in a Disney property before, but this experience was brilliant. We stayed in one of the villas and found everything to our satisfaction. We were very close to the Magic Kingdom and accessibility to the other parks was good. It is not too good for getting to other resorts though e.g Animal Kingdom Lodge, where we... More

This was our 12th visit to WDW but our first staying at the Villas. We had stayed In the lodge previously. The villas are more secluded and quieter. We had a 2-BR with a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable with the exception of the pull-out sofa bed. One of the teenagers eventually agreed to take... More

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge, and it was a great experience! My kids love the overall experience at Disney. It was nice and clean, and the most important the staff is always willing to help you. The restaurants and the food was great! You can take the boat or bus to go to Magic Kingdom.

The villas at the WL are beautiful! Quiet and luxurious. Since joining the DVC, we are staying at resorts that otherwise we would not have. We have visited there to eat at Whispering Canyon, but the experience of staying is so different! Waking up and heading to the beach is so peaceful. The pool is like glass and spotlessly clean.... The lodge is quite impressive. The lobby was comfortable and very attractive. Our room was impeccably clean. Great mattresses, plenty of linens, carved headboards with animals on the bedposts were wonderful. Restaurants in lodge were good. Boat and bus service were great. Had a pool side room with a great view of the "geyser." Only complaint reserved for my fellow... More

We are DVC members and decided to stay 10 days at the Disney Wilderness Lodge Villas. I booked a stuido for 4 nights and then upgraded us to a 1 bedroom for the remainder of the trip. I was surprised when I was told they had a room for us when we checked in around 10 a.m. I made it... More

Although disney have never said this 'is' the best, they have better resorts, maybe it was just the villas that seemed a bit shabby, on the web site they show rooms of the main hotel, which do seem a lot nicer, that said, the pool area was immaculate, they have plenty of life guards and whilst i was there they...
