Beautiful hotel and I really like the boat to Magic Kingdom versus buses or monorail even (always packed). It's a full service hotel - the only thing I didn't like is there is a wait to get your bags and they don't allow you to use a luggage carrier if we wanted to take our own. We had just stopped... We stayed at the Villas while it's under construction. During the day there was some noise, but most days we were at the parks so it wasn't a huge deal. The view we had did overlook the construction, but it's such a beautiful area, we were able to look past that. The 2 bedroom villa was huge and offered all... More

If you want to go to WDW but have a resort stay that dials down the insanity Wilderness Lodge is a good spot. I'm not saying the other resorts aren't nice, just that the remoteness of Wilderness Lodge is very nice when you need to wind down (or prepare for) a park visit. I actually prefer this resort over the... More

We stayed here during the construction, and it was a non event. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well maintained, and we're quiet at night. It was an easy walk to the main lodge for excellent dining and a wonderful lounge.

The studio I had was very clean and had a nice layout. Can sleep 5, and had a tiny kitchen counter with fridge and microwave which were handy for breakfast in. There's construction going on so the former pool is no more, but there wasn't much noise unless you were on the patio. Went to the spa for a couple... More

We stayed at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge for two nights with three of our children, ages 15, 12, and the birthday girl who turned 9 while we were there. We were warned both when we made the reservation and when we did the online check-in that there was construction going on at the resort. So we were fully expecting... More

We stayed in the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge in March. Although this is a "deluxe" resort, it hardly possesses the high-end amenities of luxury resorts. It is, however, a very nice play for a family to stay for an extended Disney trip. The grounds and structure are very beautiful. We loved the proximity to the Magic Kingdom and the... More

First of all would like to send my condolences to anyone effected by the recent tragedy in Orlando and at Disney. Had a broken hide away bed in our one bedroom Villa. Took a little hassle to get it fixed, but in the end it all worked out. Beautiful property, even with the construction. The lake was beautiful at sunrise.... More

The Villas at the Wilderness Lodge is a very nice place to stay when visiting Disney World. We were there in early December so the lobby was decorated for Christmas. I think it is probably one of the loveliest lobbies at Disney. The pool area and the grounds are beautiful, also. The actual villas are nice but I thought they... More

If there weren't multiple parks located nearby I would be hard pushe to leave this beautiful resort. I stayed in a spacious well appointed and well layed out apartment. It had everything you need for a short holiday break. I have previously stayed in Disney Resort Hotels, but this was my first time in a DVC property, and it was... More
