Stayed for a quick weekend with my daughter to go to Universal. The hotel is really close to the park and other restaurants and shops. As soon as you walk in you can smell how clean the lobby is and the staff is friendly. There is hand sanitizer everywhere and followed other CDC guidelines. The room was well appointed with double beds and a couch with fridge and microwave. Again, felt clean and safe. The breakfast buffet is not available, however they will take your order and provide you with breakfast he next day. It was good. I will stay here again for another park visit.
This hotel is used heavily by families going to Universal Studios. They offer a decent free breakfast and its close to Universal. The rooms are clean and upkept well. The only issue was noise from the hallways/elevators. Likely due to the amount of kids in the hotel. I guess that is part of the package for a hotel close to a major attraction. Overall a decent hotel.
Well, it's a nice place. Room 125 was ours...I wouldn't give it excellent rating, but very good. Capet need to be changed. I cleaned soap dish no big deal. The water facet was not easy to turn on, so that had to be fixed. So that tells me how did the clean it, when my husband could hardly turn the handle. Beds are great, staff was nice, all of them. Breakfast was wonderful.
Second time in a week that I have stayed here and the wifi is unusable in the evening past 8pm. Thought it might be because I was and am in a 4th floor room. However, last week the wifi worked perfectly the next morning, on 4th as well as 1st floor. So its not because of our location in the hotel. The connection dropped over and over again making it impossible to use the internet. Strike 1. The TV has no jack to attach headphones and I am hearing impaired and can't hear TV without headphones. Strike 2. Lack of both TV and WIFI capability is unacctable. Strike 3 is the crowded breakfast room and a configuation that makes it difficult to carry food to table. The suite is great, clean, roomy, and convenient with fridge and microwave. But with 3 strikes I'm sorry to say I can't recommend this accomodation.…
We took our kids to Universal for the weekend and stayed here. It was a very convenient location to the park and restaurants. Our room was very clean, comfortable and fresh smelling with a great A/C. We love having a microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was not impressive so we only got it once. The carpet is dated, no matter the age as well as the wall paper in the bathroom and if some minor cosmetics like this were addressed it would be great. We also didn’t hear a lot of noise, from the hallway nor the rooms next door. The staff was all very friendly and overall we were happy with the hotel and our stay. It’s worth the price we paid for sure.
