As a long time owner at Blue Tree since the late 1990s, I’d have to be honest and say that on my frequent trips to Orlando, and as a DVC member, I have rarely utilized my home resort at Blue Tree given the age and upkeep of the property in the past. I took a chance and reserved a last minute 1 BR villa over Christmas week 2024. Let me say that I was so impressed and pleased given the entire experience. From check in to check out. Everyone we encountered was professional, efficient, and polite. Shout out to Felipe T who made our check in process so smooth and was able to check us in early and gave us a wonderful room. Felipe is a true asset to BTR. They are currently in the process of completing renovations in all buildings so I was lucky to be assigned a renovated 1 BR villa that had an in-room W/D. The room was very well done with comfortable sitting areas and a comfortable mattress. The convenience of having the W/D in room was priceless and wish all villas had them. Kudos to the management, house keeping and grounds keeping staff. The room was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival and any additional items we needed replenished were handled quickly. The resort grounds were well manicured and the holiday lighting they had done really made the resort feel festive. There were also plenty of conveniently located larger exterior covered trash cans to dispose of room trash and these were kept emptied and neat without garbage overflowing like seen at other resorts. Location is superb and so convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the Disney parks. The location alone was the reason I purchased as an owner over 30 years ago. Given this wonderful experience over Christmas, I will gladly reconsider BTR as my home away from home when visiting Orlando. This review is specifically for Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista and NOT the Westgate Resort at Blue Tree. There are two separate BTR ownership companies located in this same property to avoid confusion. Well done BTR at LBV!!!!

This is the second time we have chosen to stay at this resort. The staff are very accommodating, rooms are clean, comfortable and fully stocked with several sets of bath towels & pool towels. The kitchen is also fully equipped and each unit we have stayed in has very nice and new appliances. This resort is well lit areas at night and security is present on property day and night. The location is perfect if you’re visiting theme parks or just want a nice getaway filled with activities and amenities that you never have to leave. It’s located in a quiet area and creates a very pleasant atmosphere to relax from a busy day full of crowds. The only improvement I would recommend might be the mattresses on the beds and fold out couches.

After reading some reviews I was a little dubious but I must say the resort is lovely. Our room was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and overall would highly recommend the blue tree resort. The resort was always kept clean and it was quiet. They provide a shuttle which runs to most of the major parks and even though they only run once a day, it was extremely efficient and very quick as it only stops at 3 or 4 resorts. The pools were always kept clean and are open till 11pm meaning we could take a late night dip after a long hot day in the parks. Our room came fully equipped with all the necessities and all were clean and in full working order. Our balcony, although be it was a little small (only space for 2 people when there was 3 of us) was a nice addition and some thing you don’t get in a lot of Disney resorts. Ubers to Disney springs and the parks were very reasonable as the resort is only 10mins away. Thank you Blue Tree, we will definitely book again.

I don't know what people were writing about. The 1 bedroom suite was SO small - we had to store food in the bathroom as there was NO cupboard space in the kitchen - the kitchen and bathroom was 1 person at a time - NO space at all. They did have some activities but they were costly - a hamburger for $3 and the combo was $5 which was a small bag of chips and a canned pop - really couldn't cost them more than $2 for a combo - so they are making money off of you. The hot dog combo was $4 - and many places we have stayed that has been complimentary once a week. The activities same - expensive for what you were getting. The bed was okay - the pillows horrible. We had to turn on the hot water 15 minutes before a shower to get hot water - we called 3 times - that was the answer we got. They did visit - we gave up... We saw cockroaches every day - perhaps they were overdue on the spraying. We had cockroaches all over the kitchen including the fridge - so gross. Our dishwasher broke and was replaced that same day. Towel exchange was a nightmare. We had to ask three times for our pool towels to be returned... We just asked for new sheets after our first week - we changed them ourselves but had to ask for new pillow covers? wow - if I'm changing my sheets I need new pillow cases too. The pillows were the worst I have experienced anywhere - flat or lumpy - not much of a choice. The pools were clean and you could always find a spot - appreciated that no one seemed to hog the chairs. We would never stay here again - and we aren't fussy people... The staff were also unremarkable and didn't find anyone who was friendly.

From the moment we arrived, tired and confused from the long flight, we were made to feel welcome and check in was a breeze.
As we struggled to find reviews on YouTube we thought that it might not be the best. How wrong we were, this was a magical location within minutes of all the parks. The apartment was larger than our home in the Uk, good sized kitchen with oven, microwave and a large fridge freezer, not forgetting the dishwasher (god send). A dinning area for 6 people, sofa, an arm chair and TV in the living room, Master bedroom had a bathroom attached with over bath shower, as well as the wc. Twin room also had a bathroom. With in minutes of walking around we discovered the 4 clean, good sized pools, Frisbee golf, Crazy golf, volley ball court and not forgetting the tennis and basketball courts. The onsite laundrette was close by and easy to use.
Just a short walk from the complex was a dollartree and wawa petrol station where you can grab some essentials.
We loved staying at Blue tree resort, it was sad to leave after our 2 weeks. We have said that when we come back, we'd love to come back to blue tree.

I recommend the executive 2 bedroom suite especially if you have kids Mom and dad can have their own room and kids can have another along with a sleeper sofa in the living room. It's a large suite with 871 sq.Ft. They offer free parking, Wi-Fi, shuttle service. The shuttle to universal studios is a straight shot no bus transfer it gets to the hotel at 7am and gets back to the park at 7:20 to bring you back. The shuttle to Hollywood Studios is a little trickier bus gets to hotel at 9:35 but takes you to magic kingdom where you catch a Disney bus to the park if the bus isnt there when you arrive it will be shortly. Then to get back to the hotel catch a Disney bus back to Epcot and the bus to the hotel leaves at 10:15 busses to Epcot run about every 15 to 20 min. After all that fun at Universal Studios come back and play a round of mini golf or play in one of 4 pools or parents relax in one of the 2 hot tubs. They don't offer breakfast but you have a full kitchen just like at home a full size frig, stove with oven, dishwasher and sink, dishes and cookware and utensils provided along with lots of counter space to prepare your meal. a dining room table and chairs to sit and have your meal.they also offer grills and tables and chairs by the pool if you want to cook outside. Close to shopping and restaurants if you are to tired to cook They offer a self service laundry and a game room to play in while your clothes get clean. Some rooms have a balcony and all rooms have free cable and DVD players. At the Blue Tree Resort you are only 5.6 miles to Hollywood Studios and 7 miles to Universal Studios should you decide to drive or catch a lyft or uber.I do say you should book early because not only does it fill up fast but it's cheaper. I use booking. Com for my hotel needs and undercover tourist to save money on park tickets. Happy travels.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at blue tree resort. We could not fault it! Everything was fantastic from start to finish. All of the staff were helpful and pleasant from the front desk to the security. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for us (family of five). The apartment was clean and extremely well equipped. House keeping did a full clean on day 8 of our stay and restocked everything (toilet paper, soap, dish washer powder, washing powder and fabric softener, towels etc). The grounds of the resort and pool areas were spotless. We made use of the laundry room in our block, again this was extremely clean and the machines were easy to use and pay (just tap your card on the reader). The pool area at our block was fantastic, spotless, plenty of loungers, tables and chairs and parasols and was open to 11pm daily. The resort is close to many restaurants and shops ( 5 minute walk) and a short drive to disney world (15 mins roughly). I would definitely stay at blue tree resort again.

This was a family trip celebrating big milestones for our children, the location , facilities, service, even the wifi was perfect. Our bedroom had a jacuzzi tub with a separate shower, tv a King size bed and a private balcony. The second bedroom had 2 twin beds their tv walk-in closet and their separate bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, utensils, coffee maker and dishwasher. what more could you want ? Perfect for us all around the only thing I wished was the stay was longer! Thank you!

We are a family of 5 who stayed here for a week recently. Everything about the place was great. The family room was great with two separate bedrooms and a fold out bed in the living room. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to self cater. The pools were clean as was all the grounds. The location is fantastic, we used Uber to get around and it is approx $7 to typhoon lagoon and was $15-25 to the other Disney and universal parks. My older children and I also walked to Disney springs which took around 40 mins. Overall it was a great family hotel and we would look to stay here again should we go back to that area.
