Aside from all the roaches, broken television that would not turn off, the foul smells, broken bathtub, stained carpet/towels, torn sheets with cigarette burns, we felt generally UNSAFE at this location from all the vagrants at and around the property. We will NEVER stay again and from now on, will check trip advisor before booking ANY property.
We arrived with a lot of luggage to the hotel three hours before the check in time, but two rude African Americans in frontdesk were not at all helpful with us.We just aked her to keep our luggage in a safe place for three hours. That is something common in almost ALL HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD. Wedid not ask for our room, we just asked a place were to leave our luggage for a while as I got a job interview. The answer there was a si ple NO AND TO RETURN IN OUR CHECK IN OUR! Unbelievable! Hotel staff is supposed to be helpful, kind, respectful, but in this hotel these two ladies were not at all so. When we return, room was ready, with cigarrette smell. Remote control did not work and when we called frontdesk, they told us to go to frontdesk as they did not have personnel to change the remote control. Photos in Trioadvisor need to be updated as there are no cafeteria in February 2020. The pool is also different, there are no trees, just concrete. Finally, the location is not good, kind of dangerous, always cops cars passing around, people of bad looking arounthe hotel.…
Booked 3 nights, but stayed only one. Even that was too much! Place was awfull- Bugs in toilet, noisy, smelling like weed and cigarettes. I dont have any good things to say. Best thing is to drive by and keep on going!
I hate to flame a place this bad, but this place 100% deserves it. I don't know how the owner could put their name on such a disaster of a place. The one positive was the night lady was pretty nice. Here goes..I booked this room during a rain delay for the Daytona 500 so I wasn't really able to do my research. Walking in and the color scheme should have been the first clue to turn around and walk out. Checked in, got my room key (417) and went upstairs. Walked in and was like uh oh. Smelled like they tried covering up a cigarette smell with tons of air freshener. Tried turning on the lamp and 2 light bulbs were missing. Was going to turn on the TV but there was no remote. Picked up the phone to call downstairs and the cord from the handset to the phone was gone. So, I finished my salad and wanted to throw it away but no trash can anywhere. So I walked downstairs and the lady gave me light bulbs, phone cord, and a remote. The TV was one of the old school CRT TV's and of course even with cable, I got no channels. Looking over at the AC, I noticed the wallpaper (maybe paint) was peeling away from the wall. Went into the bathroom and noticed the towels were off white, a hole in shower curtain, and cracked paint in the shower. Won't go into details about behind the toilet. You may be asking why did I stay? I was tired and it was pouring rain. The beds looked clean enough so I just went to bed.…
I booked through booking.com on Dec 22, 2019 and checked in on Dec 25,2019. My plan to check out on Dec 27, 2019. When I chose this hotel, i sorted with the filter free cancelaton, no breakfast, low to high, the cost around $55 so overall $110.xx. when i checked in the front desk assistant gave me the wrong key room no 415, then i came down the correct room no was 417. But my son when he opened the door we saw two cockroaches. I opened 417, and we saw two small cockroaches, and TV was not working. I came down and spoke to manager, she is Caucasian woman and was rude to me and mentioned that I could call booking.com and she wont refund to me for the 2nd day. She said that this is Florida, and you can find cockroaches everywhere. She lives in the same hotel and there are some cockroaches in her room as well. I sent proof of evidences to booking.com but booking.com mentioned they cant do anything except say sorry to this matter. The officer from booking.com only says we cant allow them to advertise, but look at the review, not all the people can afford the hotel for $100. But it doesnt mean $50 hotel cant get best service. I dont expect $50 like diamond rating hotel. So..never book this hotel and very terrible. At the same time, there were 4 cops came to the hotel. The manager reported that there was a guest owed the hotel $935 and she already evicted the customet. That is a curse. Never book this hotel, terrible, manager is so rude, dirty, smelly and worst hotel.…
