My wife and I spent a part of our honeymoon here and it was great. Everything was clean in the room and the whole resort itself. We enjoyed the many pools and waterfall plus all of the hot tubs. The bar was friendly and the food was good. When we finished our adventure in SeaWorld we came back to the resort and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after walking around for 5 hours.
We’d had a long day with airline delays and other issues so I was hoping when we finally checked in that it wouldn’t be another bummer moment. Thankfully we were very happy. The lady that checked me in was very nice. She was quick and efficient and sent me on my way. We had a one bedroom suite in the Smith building (which is the very last building but didn’t bother us). We walked into a very clean and spacious condo. We had a king bed in the bedroom and a pullout Queen sofa bed in the living room. Nice sized bathroom with walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub that sat outside of the bathroom in the master. There was also a well lit small vanity area beside the jacuzzi as well. Allowed me to get ready while my boys were showering. Kitchen seemed well equipped and we had a 4 seat dining table. Balcony view was only of trees but it was nice sitting out there. Plus great bonus of washer and dryer. Grounds seemed well maintained but we didn’t utilize the pool. Across the street street from Seaworld with Aquatica and Discovery Cove right around the corner. Perfect location for our plans at these parks. Everyone was very friendly and nice. We had a great stay and definitely would return.…
We recently stayed here during hurricane Ian. First, the staff went above and beyond our entire trip. Everyone was friendly and fun. Our room was far and we had to use the shuttle to get around but it was hardly an inconvenience as they were super quick every time we called. The room was clean and comfortable and the resort was beautiful. We loved the pool bar that had fine food and great drinks. During the hurricane the staff was extremely helpful and provided guidance. What really made our trip was Alfredo who provided excellent service our entire trip. We looked forward to seeing him when we rode the shuttle. We will come back just to see him and the staff. Thank you all for a wonderful week!
The team was wonderful and welcoming and gave us an early check-in, detailed info and a show of genuine connection. Thank you to Rickale, Jenny and Malichi. The property was well maintained and clean. There are a couple places within walking distance, but expect to uber and/or drive to outlets, grocery, attractions, shopping. The pools are big and felt great. Music playing and lots of chairs. Hottubs were nice after long days of walking at Universal and Disney. A little market, fitness center and activity room make for some nice amenities. We ate out but also stocked our fridge and cooked a bit. Recommend.
Me and my wife came all the way from Massachusetts, stayed for 3 nights from 9/26/2022 through 9/29/2022. On 9/28/2022 asked to extend our stay due to Hurricane Ian, but was told that all the rooms are booked and need to check out by 10:00 am next day. Thanks God we were able to book another resort for a couple of nights. Complete disregard for safety of the guests.
Despite my best efforts, Hilton still hasn't gotten in touch about two packages that arrived for me during my stay (addressed to my room number!) and were not delivered to me. They have also not helped me with a package that arrived after I checked-out (I even warned them about it before, and they ASSURED me they'd return it to the sender). I don't even know if they've managed to find the packages, let alone return them to the senders. Once they are kind enough to aid a Hilton Honors Gold member with this situation, I'll be glad to rate the stay itself.
1.No cleaning service of room 2. No toilet paper available 3. No clean towels 4. No water in room 5 Staff members ignores claims 6. Beautiful facilities, great location, but worst service I have seen. 7. Do not provide Hilton Honors benefits published bu Hilton in its Hilton Honors App
The Hilton Grand Vacation is a large property with comfortable, but somewhat dated rooms. The pool area is beautiful, but can become pretty crowded. There is a gym, but it is small. They do offer free coffee, even specialty, and are located within walking distance to Sea World and close to shopping, dining, and everything else. The landscaping is lush and gorgeous, and there is even an alligator. I had trouble with my hot water being very slow. The pillows are mushy and unsupposrtive. The bed was comfortable and there were enough dishes to cook with well enough.
Old rooms with old bathrooms. Staff not overly friendly. Great location close to Seaworld. Pool area okay for kids but again very old and not kept up properly. Except the beach club they do not offer restaurants. Will not return for sure.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked via our RCI membership, and even though RCI buildings are further away on the property (we stayed in bldg 8-Warwick), we had a pool view and they have a site where you can text to get a ride (via golf cart) to the main building. The food on the property was great! We did breakfast every morning at the cafe. We would def stay again!
