We stayed here one night prior to moving to a Disney Resort. The hotel is a little dated, but very nice. The location to Disney Springs can’t be beat. It’s an easy walk over the bridge to the stores and restaurants. We had a mini suite, which was very nicely appointed. However, the view was of the parking lot on the highway and we could hear the trucks go by every so often. The convenience store had lots to choose from. All employees were very nice.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista. Everyone of the hotel staff was friendly and quickly responded to the few requests we had. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The king bed, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the Disney Parks and the free park shuttles saves time and money getting to and from the parks. We had dinner at Benihana's one night and it was delicious. Our chef was very entertaining, our waiter was friendly and efficient, and our grandchildren enjoyed watching the chef prepare our dinners. The cafe store was well stocked and the hours of operation were exceptional. We enjoyed the two pools on our last day. We would definitely choose this hotel for a future stay in Orlando if we return to the Disney parks.…
Booked hotel online and was told I would get my room number a few days prior to checking in. When I arrived for my stay I went to the desk gave them my information and they said the room I was assigned had been given to someone else. They then said they would give me another room and that room was also not available. I was then given a suite. SWEET!!! Gigantic room with a view and all the perks. I could not have been happier. SO all in all they made it work for me and then some. Nice grounds and lots to do nearby.
On arrival nice checkin. However tired decor old furniture and fittings, and rooms had no cups, mugs or glasses, just 2 paper cups. We were told this was for hygiene reasons. Hotel did provide mugs and glasses when requested. Our biggest concern was the hygiene of bed linen and duvet. Two flat sheets either side of an unprotected duvet. No seals at any end so when You move around at night the sheets separate leaving a naked duvet against the body. Yuk ! How many other bodies have deposited who knows what on the unprotected and uncovered duvet. For this single reason I would not stay at this hotel again and would be wary of all Hilton hotels as a result. Nice pool area.
Nice Hilton just a short, easy walk to Disney Springs, the food and shopping Mecca. Rooms are good and staff very pleasant, though beware this hotel has the hated and unavoidable resort fee, which is just a hotel's way to rip you off. Also, while there are two pools, neither is designated an adult pool. Great if you have kids, bad for adults there without kids. Pool bar decent.
Have stayed here many times but my most recent visit I left a little disappointed. The location is great, beautiful lobby, staff was mostly great (staff working the market need to work on their customer service skills and basic friendliness) and food options are great. My room however was less than desirable. It's definitely dated and musty. Whoever is cleaning the mirrors and counter tops needs to do better. There was a film on the mirrors, mold in the bathroom, the fan in the bathroom is so covered in dust, a dirty spot on the desk that wasn't cleaned and overall wear and tear on the walls. Would love to see it refurbished considering the fees and cost. Overall I felt safe and love the convenience of the location but I won't be back until it's been cleaned up
Wanted an short staycation, so booked the hotel for a night with friends. Very convenient to Disney Springs. The first room I was given had ants all over the bathroom floor. They switched my rooms, no problem, but made it sound like it was an upgrade, when it was actually a downgrade. Went from 2 queen beds to 2 double beds. When we asked for an additional blanket, after looking in the closet for that extra bed set that is usually in there, but was missing from this room. We were told they had no additional blankets, then told if we wanted one we had to come to the front desk and get it ourselves. I called again to verify if I came down that they actually had a blanket and was told they did have one and would deliver it to our room. They were very quick to bring 3 sheets to our door, but no blanket. Told keyless entry would be available shortly after check in, but hours later still unable to use and had to go back to the lobby to get a hardkey. No apologies for any inconveniences, no extra perks as a Diamond member. Just very disappointing overall. Front desk staff were rude and despondent with any inquiries. Would definitely recommend staying anywhere else, so many other hotels in the area to pick instead.…
Not even sure where to begin, the stay was THAT fantastic! Lindsay at the Front Desk was just amazing in helping us prior to arrival day and just a wonderful person. Arrival was easy despite being a very big property with many business and conference travelers around the lobby area. Parking was plentiful and close by. The room was recently remodeled and was done VERY nicely. The pools and gym were just wonderful- clean, up-to-date, enjoyable and well kept. Perhaps the best part of the experience was the proximity of the property to Disney Springs, to I-4. to Publix and to the outlet mall were all just wonderful. For comparison, the following night after departing, we stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and my wife commented that the Hilton was just as great as that hotel. In future, I don't ever see myself staying at another Disney resort and that THIS is my Disney hotel for all future stays. My daughter stayed here over Spring Break from college a few months prior to our stay and she had great things to say about her experience on that stay; she grew up on Disney resorts and Disney cruises I had taken her on, so she knows what a nice hotel feels like and this hotel has raised the bar on all future hotel stays....it was THAT great an experience. Kudo's to the staff and the management team for a well run facility and a wonderful staff.…
Room was clean, really liked the double vanity. Beds are comfortable and the location to Disney Springs is great. The marketplace is very nicely stocked with a verity of food and snacks. Rooms are a little out of date is the only down side.
Room was in great condition. Staff were friendly. Perfect location next to Disney Springs. Many restaurants and shops close by. Free transportation very helpful and easy to use. Free DVD movie rentals on-site. Food options at the hotel limited and expensive. Make sure you understand that the hotel charges daily resort fees. I was aware before the stay. Overall - good hotel, great location, convenient, but pricey.
