Having been to Walt Disney World ( we are from the UK) twice before we decided this time to try a Disney Resort and Pop Century didn’t disappoint. When booking we opted for a preferred room and we were in block 5 with a pool view. Disney definitely have everything well organised. Our Magical Express was ideal from the airport and check-in at the Resort was very quick, friendly and efficient. I can’t find any faults with our room. It was very clean, spacious and the beds were definitely very very comfortable. We opted to not have Mouse Keeping ( not because you get $10 a day gift card) but because we hate having our beds made their way every day and when we wanted fresh towels or more toilet rolls we only had to ask, so for us it was a win win situation. There are plenty of plug and USB sockets which was very handy and the controls for room temperature was great. We found the resort mugs ($18.99) a great economical way of having drinks. The transportation to all the parks was fantastic and we only had issues on one evening when trying to get back from Magic Kingdom (we think someone forgot Pop Century) & when we got to the Bus Stop I think some people had been there for ages and we had to wait about 45 minutes to actually get a bus. We loved our Magic Bands and how absolutely everything is on them and they made life so easy We would definitely stay at a Resort again. We were only disappointed that the Skyline isn’t open yet as that looks amazing

After having visited our Theme Parks multiple times in the past, I’m delighted we could welcome you to get an even more magical experience by joining us for an on-site stay! This Resort in particular has been one of my favorites for years, and I hope this is just the first of many times we get to welcome you and your family here for totally tubular adventures. Also, I appreciate you mentioning the refillable mugs. I think this is a fantastic way to get more value out of your visit, especially when staying with us for more than just a few days. All the fun of the Resort aside, I apologize for the transportation delay you experienced when returning from Magic Kingdom Park. I’m relieved to see that this misstep did not take away from your overall experience. Speaking of our transportation, I hope you’ll be joining us again for another visit soon. Disney Skyliner opens at the end of the month, whisking Guests away to Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or other nearby destinations. I think it’ll make future visits even more of a breeze, and I can’t wait for you to experience it yourself! AJ Disney Social Reviews

Pop Century was perfect for our Disney vacation with our 5 and 9 yr old children. We stayed in a preferred room which was in the 60’s building and close to the pool, lobby, restaurant and bus area. These rooms are refurbished and have a Murphy bed that is a table when you’re not using it as a bed. The beds are comfy and they give you plenty of nice pillows. Even with the bed down the room was more spacious than I expected. There is room under the beds for storage of strollers and luggage. There is also tons of storage space for all your stuff and a nice flat screen tv. The bathroom has the shower and toilet separate from the sink and mirror so multiple people can be getting ready in the morning. The hippy dippy pool is a lot of fun and they have activities for the kids during the day and night. They also have life vests for the little ones and a baby splash area. There is laundry, a pool bar and ping pong tables. The theming if the decades is cute and makes the resort fun to walk around. The datura then is convenient but the food is mediocre at best. Some of the bakery snack items look yummy and if your on the meal plan you can get an adult beverage with your lunch and dinner so that makes it better. My kids loved that they had pizza, chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. Plus you get unlimited fountain drinks when you are at the resort. I would definitely stay here again, especially with the kids. It’s super family friendly, super cute and comfy!

It sounds like you had a groovy time at Disney's Pop Century Resort! I'm really digging your review, thanks for sharing it with us. You're right, Pop Century is the perfect Resort for families and young children. As you mentioned, the rooms are recently enhanced and they have been a huge hit with our Guests. I think they're ideal for the Preferred Room locations. With this Resort being wonderful for kids, a fun afternoon at the pool is a must! Having a hardwood floor makes for a much easier clean up afterwards. The pull-down bed gives families even more space to get situated before getting the kids down for a nap. I can't wait for you to "pop" on by again at this totally far out Resort! Jordan Disney Social Reviews

Stay in the resort for 4 nights but we didn’t spend much time in it because we spend most of our time in the Disney parks. However, once you come back in your room after an exhausted theme park day you will definitely feel cozy and comfortable with this spacious room. The bed was big and soft for you to get a good sleep. The resort also had 3 swimming pool which were all looked awesome and always filled with happy kids. The rate is pricy of course considering it’s a Disney resort but you will have extra magic hours for the parks and free shuttle buses between all Disney world. It’s definitely deserve to spend some budge on it for your vacation.

Currently nearing the end of our Disney vacation where we stayed at Pop for 7 nights. Can’t say enough good things. Our original room was a standard room in the 90s section. When we realized that it was a pretty far walk to the main building, we requested a preferred room. They were happy to accommodate our request and we were moved to the 70s section within the hour. Rooms are small but theming is cute. Every bit of space in the rooms is used smartly. Added bonus that suitcases can be stored under the bed. Lots of electrical outlets and USB ports which is great. Bathroom area is very clean and private. Only thing I can offer recommendations on is that there’s no alarm clock in the rooms, and the walls are a bit thin. We used a white noise machine we brought with us to block out sounds at night. Hippy Dippy Pool is wonderful. They offer free life jackets which was nice for our young son. Lots of seating available around the pool. Food Court is nice and has a lot of food, drink and snack options. On site store is great for souvenir shopping but also handy when you are in need. My husband caught a cold during our trip and we were able to get cough medicine and cough drops. Every cast member we encountered was extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Will definitely be returning to Pop on our future Disney trips!

Thank you for popping in to share a review of our fun Resort! Between your room, the Hippy Dippy Pool, and Everything POP Shopping & Dining, it sounds like you had a totally tubular blast from the past. This Resort celebrates the iconic trends that defined the mid to late twentieth century, and I’m so glad it turned out to be the perfect fit for you and your family, thanks in part to the smart design of your room. All of our Guest rooms were recently updated to make the space even more comfortable and functional down to the smallest details like the USB charging ports alongside the power outlets. I also appreciate you sharing your constructive suggestion of an alarm clock to make the room even more convenient. I hope we get to continue welcoming you and your family back for future vacations for years to come! AJ Disney Social Reviews

The wife and I spent a couple of days at this Disney hotel this past summer. We heard it went through a renovation and watched a few videos online about the other hotels that went through a renovation. The newly renovated rooms are great. Very modern. Every bit of space is used efficiently. Floors are all tile. The bathroom and shower are very nice. We have stayed at most of the value resorts, and this is one of our favorite renovated resorts. The grounds, shopping and dining areas are very clean and well kept. As always, Disney Staff is above and beyond great.
