Had a nice room location, preferred room. Room was clean, mattress great, and bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. The refrigerator was frozen. A block of ice had formed on the back bottom of fridge. No daily room service, food court was only open to pick up food after ordering on app. Not a problem. (covid) Pool was nice, not too crowded. Staff were great, Enjoyed a cocktail or two at Petals. Rum Rum Reindeer was very good! Nice bartenders. The sky-liner was accessible and easy to use and pleasant way to travel to Epcot. No busses from Pop to Epcot. This was my second time staying at Pop and must say it was better than the last time. I would stay again, and enjoyed the preferred location.
I’ve been to Disney World more than 10 times in the past few years - & I only haven’t been able to go more because I don’t live in the USA - & this hotel is certainly the most magical thing ever. It’s not the most luxurious of Orlando, of course, but it is such a heartwarming experience to visit this place. The people working there are always kind & the hotel is clean & nice. The food is not fancy & sophisticated, but it’s damn good. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we couldn’t visit this year but we sure will as soon as this passes. My review counts for at least 5 stays in this hotel - if not more - & I assure you it’s a very good choice. Thank you so much for the things I’ve experienced in this hotel. I hope to visit again.
I stay here every time I visit Disney. Pop Century has always been my go to place with my family and friends who I bring yearly. I love the Sky Liner it is defiantly a game changer. I usually have no issues except this time, I know Covid-19 has impacted everyone and I feel bad for all who have been laid off there due to this. I understand staffing was cut and you have to do things differently now but, the rooms should still be maintained and safe for your guest. I was disappointed that I could not enjoy my vacation due to the injury I sustained in my room. They did tend to my issues but, not before I had to go to the front desk a few times which made more walking an issue. I was a tour guide for two friends who were there for he first time and it was very difficult to do that when you can't walk without being in pain. They did give me a scooter to use for two days but that showed difficult due to having to navigate the winding lines and people were making comments and upset that it was taking longer because I never drove one of those before and had difficulty navigating it by the time I reached the ride I had so much anxiety I did not want to even ride it at that point . I still had to do a lot of walking regardless to and from getting to parks. It just was very painful and had to cut my time short due to pain. I felt bad for the two who I was suppose to be showing around that they now had to shorten there days just to help me out. I just wish I could have enjoyed my vacation better as well as my friends who I felt I let down, especially when you spend the money you do to stay there on vacation. I do love Pop Century and would still stay here just hope my visit in February goes a lot better.…
The pop century resort was great! The sculptures have so many great throwbacks! The room was nice and clean! I love the rain fall shower and their wonderful smelling shampoo! It honestly was just a beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff!
Our recent family trip to WDW included staying at Pop Century. Very enjoyable. We stayed in the 50’s building which is a great location. Of course it was different this year due to COVID-19. Food Court had a limited menu. I really didn’t understand why Housekeeping only entered the room every other day to empty trash and leave fresh towels. Never made the bed or changed sheets. The updated rooms were an improvement. The Skyliner is great. Will stay here again next time we visit WDW.
