We stayed at Waldorf Astoria Orlando for one night... On the arrival we were told that the room wasn’t ready which I understand because we arrived around 12pm... I was was pre checked in a room on the 9th floor... They told me they will notify me when the room is ready... We left and didn’t received any notification that our room was ready... Around 3pm we came back and i asked the front desk about the room that I’m waiting to check in... She looked at her comp and said the room cleaned and ready but we have to wait 5 more min... After 10 min i asked someone else in the front about my room if is now ready... She tells me that unfortunately that room is not ready because of technical problems but the will give me same room in the 6th floor... I told her how is this possible when 10 min ago i spoke to another front desk staff and she told me the room is ready... Anyway my kids and I were so tired so didn’t have the energy to complain, took the room keys and we headed to our room ... The room was meh , looked very outdated ...

(even though the signia property is gorgeous) The service at the restaurants, pools, and bars was very good... We had one issue at the pool with one specific waiter that messed up our orders and two or three times forgot our order..... The pool service is on par with most pool service for like hotels... Its not fast, but its still pool service...

The worst part was when I realized that no one could helped us with this simple service ... No one delivery service like to go there after midnight and we had trouble to had one order around and when we finally found one it’s almost 2:30am... The person to attend us when we arrived at almost midnight at the hotel told us if we intended to eat something we needed to order outside in uber eat or door dash or we could tried to go to the neighbor hotel because they could not help us...

You are able to use both hotels and there is a pass way to walk if you don't want to walk in the heat... We had special treatment for our anniversary left in our room when we got back from our Disney trip unexpected and greatly appreciated... Take advantage of the Disney Shuttle which picks you up and drops you off at the front entrance... Bartenders were attentive and gave us good advise to dinning off property... We loved our stay and understand the responsibility Waldorf tradition continues to uphold in Luxury Hotel standard...

This was our second stay here and everything was just as good or better than the first visit... It's our favorite breakfast of any hotel or resort we've stayed at and the servers are all so friendly and helpful... The suite was also perfect for what we needed... We again utilized the complimentary shuttle service to get to and from the Disney parks - the schedule is easy to follow and very convenient... The staff were all amazing - we were surprised on a few occasions with extra touches for my wife's birthday that really made the stay special and memorable...

...I paid to upgrade to a suite but didn't expect to have a room at the lowest level (4th) so the front desk rep helped me to get something higher which was room 1401... I called the front desk and explained what happened, what they said in the morning was "We will send the housekeeping supervisor"... A little after that call, a lady with a vacuum just came in then vacuumed the floor once again then left without saying anything about what happened to us... The front desk never reached out to us back from my incident report and we were so disappointed and just checked out of the hotel... Don't expect the level of service that you are getting from other Waldorf Astoria locations...

One word of advice is that whilst the hotel benefits from early entry to the parks and allows you to book lightening lanes from 7am it does not qualify as one of the hotels that lets you book the paid individual lightening lanes early...

The hotel set up movies and games for the kids in the many meeting rooms, and the ballrooms became soccer, and baseball fields to give them a place to be kids - play and run around... Several guests told us the Waldorf Astoria is where they head if there is a major storm event because the power grid it has is underground and not subject to an outage plus there is a generator if needed... We wanted to give a shout-out to the staff and management for making a stressful situation better than we ever expected...

Shame as if they knew of our experience maybe it could be improved as it has great potential to be so nice... It was really well cleaned every day...

The resort is in a renovation currently, but it was still very good. You can tell the renovation is to modernize it, and its going to be beautiful when its finished... We were torn about finding a more kid appropriate resort for them with waterslides, but we are so glad we picked the waldorf... There were kids all around that our kids played with... It was always busy, but never felt crowded... There were so many things for the kids to do on the side areas too... We did use the signia for the lazy river and slides... (they offer a golf cart ride there) Our kids preferred the waldorf though... (even though the signia property is gorgeous) The service at the restaurants, pools, and bars was very good... The pool service is on par with most pool service for like hotels... Its not fast, but its still pool service... I think this resort is every bit as good as our experiences at the Ritz and better than the Omni and JW...

...My wife and I stayed here for the second time just after New Years. We stayed in a Deluxe King Suite w/Balcony for a week to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday and visit the Disney parks... Breakfast in Oscars is fantastic - the buffet has healthy options, hearty options, and purely decadent options!... It's our favorite breakfast of any hotel or resort we've stayed at and the servers are all so friendly and helpful... Peacock Alley also has tasty drinks as well as great burgers and flatbreads...perfect for late evening meals after long days at the parks... We also celebrated with a meal at Bull & Bear which was well worth the money and deserves all of the hype... The suite was also perfect for what we needed... Having the extra space to spread out during our downtown and relax on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning was perfect... Everything in the room is comfortable and clean, but some elements are starting to show signs of wear (nothing that affected our stay)... We again utilized the complimentary shuttle service to get to and from the Disney parks - the schedule is easy to follow and very convenient...

There were over 200 of us , so it was nice we all fit into one facility ... The main pool at the Waldorf was closed , but we are able to walk over to the Hilton side and enjoy the lazy river pool... Whilst I usually like to have a glass of wine in peacock alley or read a book and enjoy lunch this was impossible…unless your name is frosty the snowman... Didn’t use the sitting room the first night...

...The hotel is very comfortable, the staff very friendly and conveniently located to get to the parks and Disney Springs... One word of advice is that whilst the hotel benefits from early entry to the parks and allows you to book lightening lanes from 7am it does not qualify as one of the hotels that lets you book the paid individual lightening lanes early... This means it is very unlikely you will get the chance to as they are invariably gone by park opening...

We have stayed here the last few nights because the points were very reasonable for our Disney stay... The pool area at the Signia is much nicer, with a lazy river and the breakfast is about $10 less per person... I just don’t see a reason why anyone would pay more if they could stay next door and still use the Waldorf’s amenities...

...We found them at the Waldorf Astoria in Disney... This allowed the guests to have the first class service the Waldorf is known to provide and the staff did not have to worry about their family back home... I learned that in an evacuation the hotels welcome all pets, we even saw a bird... The hotel set up movies and games for the kids in the many meeting rooms, and the ballrooms became soccer, and baseball fields to give them a place to be kids - play and run around...

...Staff were fantastic at check-in and had our party sorted out very quickly. Rooms overlooked the pool area... We spent the Saturday enjoying the pool and relaxing... A cabana was available and our attendant was first rate... Can make walking (outside) to the adjoining pool area/restaurants a bit of an adventure the first time you try it...

...Hotel is nice and beds are super comfortable, however me and my daughter used this as a base only... With that sort of charge I would expect the bell service to be free...

The Orlando Waldorf— is the best resort for a DisneyWorld vacation, if you are not staying on property. The Waldorf is a luxury resort with amazing views of Magic Kingdom’s firework show & a 10 minute town-car ride to Downtown Disney... The resort suite accommodations are excellent for a family of three... A master bedroom with an ensuite, a living room, powder room, kitchenette & a walkout balcony... The resort retail shopping has everything From Lily Pulitzer to Mickey & friends... The pool, spa and fitness center are all 5-stars... The entire hotel staff treated us like royalty...
