Was on very top floor, 19th, in a suite, had ants in it from day one. Complained first day but was told no other suites available. Guess because Miss Teen Universe was there? After complaining four times and last showing housekeeping where to clean and then came back to room only to find 100-200 ants decided I wanted the manager involved. Asked for manager to come to room and see for themselves and they wouldn’t. Only would send engineering so he could see and report it to pest control later. Then sent housekeeping up with vacuum. Went to bar/restaurant on Tuesday and had cocktail. Went back for dinner there the next night and waiter said they don’t have blender to make strawberry margarita. I mean seriously. You’ve got a 20 million dollar hotel and can’t have a blender at the bar. But beside that point, wife had three “shaken” strawberry margarita night before that waiter said they don’t have. Breakfast is good at Bistro, but is way over priced for what it is. Kids were in the Adult only area and not a sole hotel person around to enforce the “quiet area” on Wednesday night.

Hotel's Favorite
So, apparently I stayed and reviewed this hotel in 2012, but somehow I don't remember enjoying it as much as I enjoyed it in 2021. This time, I was here for work (the Orlando MEGACON comic-con convention), and just found it ... easy. There's a 7-11 across the street to grab drinks and snacks, and there's a McDonald's just a tiny bit farther for breakfast or sundaes. I had dinner at the market downstairs one night, and another night, I ate in the restaurant -- both fine enough experiences given hotel food in general. Air conditioning was great, wifi was strong, bed was comfortable, and the elevators were surprisingly fast considering how busy the hotel is. The only discomfort I had is that not all employees were wearing masks -- for example, the bellmen/valet downstairs. I totally understand that mask mandates weren't required at the time I stayed there, but I contracted COVID at a comic-con convention in early 2020 (before masks and social distancing), and while I'm vaccinated now, with the Delta variant breakthroughs running rampant, especially in Florida, I'm not keen on getting it again. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again, but I wasn't crazy about the bellman talking while standing very, very close to my 80-year-old mom without a mask, so ... anyway. Great stay, but there could be a few extra steps to accommodate some traveler's wariness of COVID.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Our employees are currently required to wear masks so it is unfortunate to hear of your experience. Megacon is one of our favorite events and hope to see you back for the next one!

Had a 14 hour layover in Orlando, picked this hotel since good reviews and 8 miles from airport. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, pool, comfortable beds and extremely clean. Would definitely book next time when in Orlando for a visit. Had dinner at the pool side restaurant, food was delicious. It was extremely convenient to not have to leave hotel since on a extended delay with no car.

Fun family get away! The pools were all great, heated and clean. We were extremely impressed with how clean the lazy river was with how much greenery was around it. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family for future visits
