My family and I took one last vacation before school started. I was hoping for something relaxing, took a look at the pics they advertised and thought this would fit the Bill. Nope! This place was nothing like the photos they advertise. We went to the pool around 10:30 AM and literally had to walk around twice because there were no chairs. I finally asked an attendant if they could help and was told just to grab a chair that only had a towel on it and put my stuff there. Great, so you want me to risk moving the wrong persons stuff? What happens when they come back, get angry and start a huge fight with myself and my family? Great advice by your staff. The place was a madhouse. The water was so packed that it looked murky. The had Latin music blaring out of speakers and frozen drinks spilled all over the deck. I’d compare this place to a discount waterpark at full capacity. DO NOT go here if you want to relax! You can’t bring out your own food or drinks, So my husband stand at the bar to get us a drink and he witnessed some girl break down into tears Because a rude drunk people kept cutting in front of her and the bartenders could care less. We finally sat down after it started sprinkling and some people cleared out. it took us 45 minutes to get a waiter. Our food still hadn’t gotten to us in almost an hour when it started raining so we left and had battle people to cancel our order. The inside was Pretty, Room were OK, but the cleaning staff was awful. Walked over the same smashed food the entire time we were there on our floor. The worst part about everything was as we were leaving. Check out is at 11 AM. The housekeeper comes walking into our room at 10:30 while me and my girls were getting dressed. I couldn’t believe it, we weren’t even passed our check out Time and this person just opened the door on us. The rooms average about $250, plus taxes, plus a $40 resort fee, plus $40 in parking. Save yourself the hassle. Pay the extra money upfront and get a nicer hotel.

Quick trip to Orlando, check-in smooth professional, Front Desk team, Farrah, Darien & Giuliano, perfect, welcoming with a helpful attitude with great informative information that enhanced our stay. The pool bar restaurant was wonderful, staff attentive and professional, my son loved the lazy river!! Tropics Pool bar and grill has an amazing group in their staff, Erika, Michael and Gaylord were just exceptional, professional, fun and service oriented. Enhanced our time at the pool! Kat, the manager, must have a Masters in Customer Service, it’s clear she leads from the front! Just Fantastic! Overall, fantastic stay, due mainly to the staff, room and fantastic fireworks display, best review states: We’ll be back!! Well done Hilton Orlando!!

My class an I recently visited the Hilton Hotel Orlando for our senior class 10 year reunion. Many traveled out of state to attend and some only traveled 10 min. The massive layout of the hotel, lazy rivers, “adult” pool and outside bar is what initially attracted us. We enjoyed a huge buffet breakfast downstairs, the fresh pancakes were well worth the wait!! We then proceeded outdoors to the pool. Everything was very clean, great atmosphere and drinks were delicious..(I’ve never seen such hardworking bartenders!) However, after we all enjoyed lunch outdoors it began to drizzle, there was lightning so everyone was asked to get out of the pool. Our class did not let that damper our stay… we moved under the outdoor bar and enjoyed company and a couple more drinks while we waited.. approximately 30 min went by and we were still told no one was allowed in the water… at this point we hadn’t heard thunder or seen lightning in approx 15-20 min. We asked an employee what the rule of thumb was for allowing guests back in the pool. We were told lightning needed to be farther than 10miles away. No big deal, as local Floridians we know the storm will move out just as quick as it moved in.. another 30 min went by (without lightning, our weather app had detected lightning 18 miles away..) we began to inquire with another employee and they told us it only had to be 8 miles away… this was when we were becoming antsy… the sun had completely come through, the rain had stopped for approx 45-50min (since the last time we inquired on the status) and our class began to play some outdoor volleyball while we awaited the ok… 20 additional minutes passed when we all started noticing how hot it was.. the storm had cleared and people were beginning to become uncomfortable because it was so dry and hot… the employees also began walking around closing all of the umbrellas?? At this point we started becoming impatient..I approached the manager who was overseeing the outdoor bar and inquired what the “rules” were for returning in the pool. The manager noted that the lightning needed to be past 10 miles out, which he admitted it was… however because there was another storm detected they were going to hold off on allowing guests back in only to ask them to get out in 30 min… we all agreed we would rather be allowed back in the pool and asked to get out if the conditions became unsafe.. This whole process took several hours out of the single day we had planned to spend together in the lazy river and pool. This post is not intended to shame the hotels policy, rather suggest improvement on the regulations of allowing guests back in. There needs to be set guidelines and when conditions are deemed unsafe, allow the guests to be updated on the situation. It was frustrating hearing different speculations on when guests would be allowed to enter back. We saw countless families with children who were chomping at the bit to get back in. We all enjoyed our time but wish we could have had better communication to allow for better planning of our day.. especially since our time was limited. Overall we enjoyed the hotel but do wish the communication towards the guests was improved.

In my opinion this room +resort fees +parking was way too much to have a dusty/dirty room. Our toilet was clogged and after calling over 2 days and being told each time someone would come right away, it was finally unclogged. Housekeeping does not replenish towels, coffee, or other items that are supposed to be included. Do not recommend!

We stayed here for one night at the end of July 2022 as a family of 4. Our return flight had been cancelled so had to find a hotel for 1 extra night, and given this would be claimed back from the airline opted for here due to the good looking pool! The pool is wonderful - really big and nice, good lazy river, fun slide and a decent pool bar. Reception area is nice. Arrival is a bit chaotic, cars all over the place at the main entrance. Parking charge seems excessive, but I accept that's largely likely to being next door to the convention centre. Resort fee is quite high too - and we were disappointed on our check-out day that the water slide just didn't open for hours. Staff had no idea what was going on, one said it opens at 11 where others said it should have opened at 0800. We felt a bit short changed anyway, we paid $40 resort fee to barely be able to use any of the amenities during our short stay. Biggest concern was with the cleanliness of our room. Whilst unpacking our young children found a small blue pill on the floor!!! The bath/shower tiled wall had several dark hairs stuck to it. There was some dirty sticky mess on the cushion and fabric of the chair. It basically looked like the cleaners had rushed the clear-out and tidying of the room after previous occupant left. The cost of the hotel, taking account of all the resort fees, parking charges and tax was really quite high. As nice as the lobby and pool area are, this place really isn't value for money at all. I would not stay here again - not because of the poor cleanliness in our room, just because it feels very overpriced. There is without doubt nicer hotels in the vicinity for the same/lesser price.

One of the best stays at a Hilton property as a Diamomd member. Room was very clean and front desk associate, Tiffany, was professional and attentive to my room request. Hotel followed up about my thoughts during and after my which I find extremely thoughtful. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Orlando.

This is a decent hotel with nice public spaces, especially the pool and lazy river area. The room was a nice standard room. The bathroom was fine overall except for the shower- the caulking had black mold that needed to be replaced. I will blame the less-than -stellar customer service on the bustling business when we visited. Information at check in was limited, but we were able to figure out the answers to our questions by using the online website. We enjoyed our drinks at the pool, but several other people’s orders were taken before ours, despite standing at the bar for awhile. I think our overall takeaway was just a little disappointed- we paid for what we thought would be an upscale experience, and had what amounted to an average hotel stay at an above-average price. It’s great for what it is, just not what we were looking for.

We recently stayed here for a dance convention. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our room was very nice and clean and had a view of the beautiful pool area. I had an opportunity to speak with Mr. Hess, the hotel manager, and he was very polite and pleasant and willing to help in any way possible. I will definitely stay here again when in the Orlando area.

We came to a basketball tournament. This resort was awesome. So many things to do on the property. We will be returning and the resort itself was beautiful. I can’t say it enough that will be returning to the Hilton of Orlando when we come back to visit. I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a awesome place to stay and have lots of fun. I have told all my family and friends about our experience with the Hilton of Orlando.
