    This place has an interesting vibe to it. Lots of interesting art around and a sense of coolness without being in poor taste. This hotel is centrally located in downtown Orlando. It was perfect for an overnight before going to the Pro Bowl at Campion Stadium (about 25-30 minutes walk) or if you wanted to go to a game at the Amway stadium a few minutes walk away. Sunday morning jazz brunch was pretty nice. Executive lounge is closed on weekends and continental breakfast ends on sunday at 9;30; after that, you have to pay heavy to go to a full brunch if you want to eat in the hotel. About 10 minutes walk from the hotel is a pretty lake where you can go paddle boating and there is a Sunday farmer's market. Our room was decent and the fitness center and pool were average but the pool was heated and there was also an outdoor jacuzzi. The hotel was hosting the LA Clippers basketball team so it can't be bad if they chose it. My main complaint was that although I had checked in with the Bonvoy app and sent the hotel a text through the app that i would be checking in late night, they gave away my suite and stuck me with a regular room. They offered me $100 or 10,000 points but I would have none of it because i paid quite more than $100 extra for the suite. They gave me $250 off the bill so I'm OK with it. But I called Bonvoy and told them that the app is not working, because this is 2nd time I checked in online in a short period of time only to be told at the front desk that there was no record of my check-in or of my text to the hotel using the app. You cannot rely on the app as a check-in device or as a messaging service to the hotel. Bell staff and front desk staff were very nice and sympathetic; the hotel was under stress with a ton of guests and 3 major events going on in town that day. When I arrived Saturday midnight, the lobby was quite a scene, but the room at least was quiet.

    Dream hotel for our wedding stay!
    The Grand Bohemian hotel was host to magical wedding weekend for my husband and me. We eloped at one of the natural springs nearby and this hotel was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right in the heart of downtown with walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bars. Some rooms overlook a performing arts center, and if there's a show going on, it's like you get your own private show! We arrived on a Friday morning and they were so extremely accommodating having a room ready for us to check-in early. They were also aware we getting married and gave us a bottle of champagne and chocolates! So sweet! All the staff were incredibly nice and helpful and our suite was amazing! We also dined at the Grand Boheme which was SO good. I got to experience the Poseidon Spa as well and got a custom massage that was off the charts amazing. All in all I can't recommend this hotel enough, if you're looking for a place to stay in the Orlando area, the Grand Bohemian is the only option in my opinion! **We also felt extremely safe the entire time, they were constantly cleaning and social distancing/mask wearing were encouraged.

    Comfy Safe Stay
    Check in was quick and easy. The valet, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, Starbucks, Gym and pool were all up and running. We asked housekeeping to give us extra towels and soap so we would have as little social interactions as possible, they came right up. Three elevators were working and we never went up or down with another person. We were concerned and pleased with the way the Covid pandemic was handled at this hotel. We brought a bag with our own cleaners, I was very pleased that we were offered more at the desk and found wipes in our room. Plush, quiet & comfortably furnished large room with a king size bed and view of the pool and spa. Large bathroom with lots of space to put our toiletries. The room was cool, well lit & we enjoyed the plush robes.

Karen and Ariana at the front desk went above and beyond they acknowledged my marriott titanium status. I had stayed at the is hotel years ago and loved it then. Which is why i returned for the bathtub. However, this time i could not gain warm water in the tub, i took a cold bubble bath and tried to convince myself to pretend it’s a pool instead. I was only there for gour hours as o had an early flight out the next morning. Rooms are being upgraded the lobby is just as beautiful my only complaint was the water being cold

My wife and I had a two night stay as we wanted to be away from the resort hotels. The hotel remodel is elegant and well maintained. The 6th floor rooftop bar and pool has a great vibe, is not crowded and is not a scene—we had a wonderful casual dinner here our first night. The bar tender had a great attitude and the service was super friendly. That is the case with the entire team, from valet, to front desk to every restaurant—happy, positive and helpful. Both dinner (thank you to Tim our server) and breakfast each morning were exceptional in both quality and value. The gym is also well appointed with a variety of machines and dumbbells plus two Pelotons. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. They are doing everything right here.

Had a great stay. This is a very nice property. I can not wait till all the renovations are done. Pool area is amazing and a great area to be. My room was huge and very clean. Manager Benny was at the desk when I was checking in it was very nice meeting him. He gave me a rundown of the property and was telling me about the renovations. I will definitely be back.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years and the service has steadily worsened. This morning, at 9:15am, they began drilling loudly into the ceiling above my room. When I called the front desk they told me that the building is under construction and there is nothing they can do. There were no warnings during reservation process or checkin regarding construction. The drilling continued and I asked to talk to a manager. Apparently the manager doesn’t come in until later in the day. I presume to avoid the noise. After about an hour, the General Manager called me and offered no solution. The noise continued. It is flat out theft to make a room unusualness do to noise. They could’ve waited until 11 when people are checking out but chose not to do so. The night prior, a man outside the hotel threatened hotel guests for about 20 minutes while stripping naked and jumping on cars. This is not completely the hotel’s fault as downtown Orlando has become a crime filled hell hole. But, the hotel had no security and a female reception desk worker was forced to try and deal with the situation. Don’t stay here. It’s overpriced and unsafe. Stay at a resort by Disney. It offers more and is cheaper. You can take an uber into downtown if needed. You’ll save money and not have to explain the naked homeless people to your kids. All of the management should be fired. They do not care.

Worst Service Ever and treatment at a Marriott - First, let me say that I am a Titanium Elite. I made my daughter ( a Gold Elite Member) a reservation at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, Autograph Collection. Upon arrival at 4:00PM, she was told that there would be a delay in getting her room. After many attempts to get a room, finally after more than two hours. a room became available. She was told by the Front Desk Manager, Ina that there was a big sport tournament and that people did not start checking out till 6PM. While checked into her room with her significant other, who was in the shower, another couple entered the room with their key and said they had been booked into the same room. What an embarassing moment for my daughter. Obviously, both couples were quite irritated. Then my daughters keys did not work so she had to go back to the front desk to get them fixed. My daughter had reservations at a fancy restaurant so she asked to be compensated for dinner. Ina said she had to call a director to get approval and was told the director turned down the request. I believe compensation should have been given considering the terrible service that was provided. I ended up calling the hotel and indicated that I was a Titanium Elite Member and while speaking to a front desk representative and told them how disappointed my daughter and I were with the Grand Bohemian Hotel and wanted the or Directors or General Manager's name, which the front desk would not give me. When I asked for the front desk representitive's name, I was hung up on and no one would pick up the phone when I tried to call back. I plan on personally speaking to the General Manager in the next several days. There is no excuse for treating a Grand Bohemian guest like this. During our recent vacation, my husband and I chose to stay at this hotel with the hope of enjoying a peaceful and relaxing getaway. However, our experience turned out to be quite disappointing and far from the serene retreat we had envisioned. One of the major issues we encountered was the ongoing construction work that persisted from 9 in the morning until 5 in the evening. The constant noise and disruption made it challenging to find tranquility within the confines of our room. Conversations became strained as we had to raise our voices to be heard over the construction sounds, significantly impacting the quality of our stay. The level of noise throughout the day was exceedingly loud, causing additional stress and further diminishing our ability to unwind. Despite raising our concerns with the hotel management, their response was limited to informing us that we would need to bear with the situation. Unfortunately, this left us feeling unsupported and dissatisfied with the service provided. Adding to our frustration was the lack of transparency regarding the ongoing construction work. The hotel failed to disclose this information prior to our arrival, which meant we were unaware of the potential disturbances we would face during our stay. Consequently, my ears were left ringing and in discomfort even after we left the premises, which was an unfortunate consequence of our time at the hotel. Considering the issues we encountered, we believe that the hotel's current pricing of $300 per night is unreasonable and does not align with the level of service and comfort provided. Guests deserve a tranquil environment and attentive management when paying such a premium for their accommodations. In order to address the negative impact this experience has had on my mental well-being, I am considering taking appropriate action. I would recommend reaching out to the hotel management, sharing your concerns, and providing any evidence, such as recordings, to support your claim. It's important to communicate your dissatisfaction and seek a resolution to ensure that your concerns are heard and acknowledged. Overall, while we had hoped for a restful vacation, the persistent construction noise, lack of support from the hotel management, and subsequent negative impact on our well-being left us disappointed with our stay.

Stayed here on a business trip. When I was having breakfast I had to step out for a work related call as my breakfast was being brought to the table. The server, Alyssa, removed my breakfast from the table and kept it warm in the kitchen until I returned. She went the extra mile and I appreciate that.

We arrived for the first time greeted pleasantly by Luis who was over the top kind and attentive.. Ashley and Mohamed were friendly and helped check us in to a lovely , comfortable room . The amenities were beautifully styled , lovely art and THE cleanest Starbucks I e ever seen 🏆👌☕️ Great downtown location too !
