We stayed 4 nights in the Jazz section of this resort. It was quite a long walk to our room as we were traveling with an older person.
When we were lounging by the guitar pool several other guests were constantly walking by and wheeling...More
We just came back from All Star Music and were not impressed. Although the pool area is cute, the lobby is plain as are the rooms. There isn't much space in the King size room, no coffe maker and you can actually hear the shower...More
I have an annual pass to WDW so I am always looking for great deals on resorts! Less than $70.00 a night using my annual pass discount for 3 nights in early January worked for me. We only shared a bus with the other all...More
We stayed at the All Star Music Resort in a family suite. Liked having two full bathrooms. The beds are a bit hard but served the purpose. We weren't in our rooms too much, just to shower and sleep. Loved the pool area and poolside...More
We stayed in a family suite at All Star Music for 7 nights in January. The room had plenty of space for my family of five and was kept very clean throughout our stay. The resort was clean and most of the staff was very...More

Generally when there is any type of construction going on, Disney does a pretty good job to ensure guests are not inconvenienced with noise or dust, etc. This hotel is considered a value Disney resort, which means they are lower cost and very basic. They offer great deals for those who still want to stay on Disney property but at a portion of the cost than if you stayed at a moderate or deluxe resort on property. My point is, regardless of them refurbishing, the room will be somewhat basic, nothing fancy. You may want to call the day before or the morning of your arrival to tell them you would like to request a refurbished room. Many of times they will ask you your estimated time of arrival and try to accommodate they best they can based on other guests who are checking out the same day.
