This hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and City Walk. It's an easy 10 minute walk. There is also an alternative of a regular free shuttle bus and you can convert to other destinations from City Walk (e.g. Sea World and Aquatica). There is an I-Trolley stop next to the hotel as...

Our stay was relatively low key. The staff was attentive and friendly though we had to flag down the bartender at the onsite restaurant to receive service. The resort itself is showing signs of age. Nothing terrible, just looking tired. The pool was nice, but nothing special. It did fall below the standards I have for Doubletree properties. Just wasn't...

This hotel is in definite need of a face lift. The carpets are threadbare and worn, the baths had mold issues and the rooms had a musty smell. Wireless connection was extremely slow. And while they advertise free shuttle to Universal & other resorts, it is very limited - going out in the am but not returning until 4:40 pm....

I enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree across from Universal Studios. The warm cookies were a nice touch and I loved Starbucks on premises. The room was clean, staff was helpful and the amenities were above average. I would stay here again.

Right across from Universal Studios. The room was big, clean and beds were very comfy. They gave us cookies upon our arrival and everyone was super friendly. I loved the fact that there are several places to eat at the hotel. We stayed by the pool for hours enjoying the weather. I will definitely come back here when I can.

Couple of things to note before reading this. I am a Hilton Honors(Diamond) member and a Hilton Select member. So I am a Hilton fan. But call them like i see them. We checked into this hotel on 11/11/15. I had two free nights through Hilton Select and this was the only Hotel in Orlando that I could use them...

This hotel is definitely showing signs of age and needs some TLC. Good location right across the street from Universal. Staff were very pleasant, however Housekeeping could use some improvement. We had to call three times one day before finally getting our room cleaned after 6pm. Nice pool, however, I believe that with a 9 1/2 foot depth there should...
