HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff at this hotel. Special thanks to Ms. Amanda Mannino for her extraordinary customer service. My niece and three of her friends were visiting the Universal theme park for a day during their spring break. After 2+ months of planning and saving their money, the young ladies experienced trouble with their plane travel right at the start of their vacation. An option to make their trip easier was a last-minute stay at a hotel close to the park. Ms. Mannino helped me confirm a last-minute reservation by explaining how I could certify it was o.k. to use my credit card for the room. She coordinated adding four names to the reservation (the girls were now arriving on different flights and would check in at different times). Ms. Mannino helped me confirm an early check in and was incredibly kind and patient on two phone calls. This all occurred RIGHT at the start of the business day on Monday. My niece and her friends were crying in the airport. I was at work and trying to coordinate options for them between meetings. Ms. Mannino offered nothing but solutions, patience, and kindness. On a second phone call from a nervous Auntie (me) - Ms. Mannino even said she lowered the room rate for the girls. The girls were OVER the MOON happy. They got to their day at the park refreshed. They got to my house the next evening and couldn't stop telling me how FANCY the hotel was and how NICE all the staff were during their stay. How easy and convenient it was to get to Universal from the hotel. BEFORE they talked about their day at the park, they were telling me about the hotel! They asked if I could get them cookies like the ones at the hotel for their visit with me. Again, HUGE THANKS to all the staff at this hotel. Thank you, especially to Ms. Mannino who was efficient, caring and demonstrated the best customer service. On behalf of four young ladies and one Auntie - we are all extremely grateful.…
Stayed at this location for one night after visiting universal studios, front desk employee was clean and professional, thanked us for being Loyal Diamond members, we were promptly given our complementary water and fresh baked cookies, and Diamond members resort comp . he explained the resort’s amenities fully . We decided to Eat on site since we we’re extremely tired from 8 miles of walking in universal. We decided to eat at the American Grill on the first floor , the waitress was very attentive and friendly, Typical Hotel Food. Next door was an ice cream shop, ice cream was fresh and normal pricing. The room was beautiful with a nice view of the pool and pond . The only thing I didn’t like to see inside the ground floor with my children around we’re the male and female Guests walking around half naked at the inside bar and restaurant, men had no shirts on and females had no shirts on exposing their bikini tops (chest) and bottoms ( some exposed with G’s) not a good look for the hotel . I’ll definitely return while in the area .…
Fantastic hotel! Everyone there is so kind and eager to make sure you are welcome. The hotel is kept clean, and has everything you could possibly need! Special compliments to the bellhop and valet staff they are so welcoming and helpful. Even when they are extremely busy they smile and are so friendly at the same time move fast to help you so you’re not waiting. The pool is kept up throughout the day the staff turns over the loungers so new guests can enjoy. The hot tub is big and nice and so so warm! The room was absolutely perfect and clean! This hotel is by far my favorite Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at, I’m a loyal Hilton honors member and I only stay at Hilton properties. We will definitely be back!
We Book a Room for up to 6 people, we were 5 and they did not have any more pillows, only gave us 4 and they said they run out of pillows wen we request another one, the bathtub did not drain well, we request the room to be clean and they did not do the housekeeping, parking lot $30 per day crazy, vending machines did not work in more than 2 floors, what can I said, one of the worst hotels experiences ever.
This place checks all the boxes! Esp if you're visiting Universal. They have shuttle to the park and its still within a 20min walk. However, I'm guessing due to the proximity of the park, they do charge a parking fee. At the time of this review it was 29$. You can get around this by using the 'overflow lot' which is just a little bit of a walk away, keep in mind this area is not gated. I don't leave valuables in my car or have a fancy car, and the area seems safe, so after the first night we moved the car to this lot and avoided the fee. The staff, from front desk to cleaning crew, is incredible! I will definitely be staying here again when visiting universal, this time it was for a conference, as this is a conference center. Oh and those cookies at check in-of course-are legendary! …
Great location for Business. Staff are incredible. I just wish I had a better idea of the location of our 2 separate meetings = seemed football fields apart. I will plan better for future meetings. Very comfortable hotel and did I mention the superb staff? Thank you!
If the headline didn’t give it away, yes, there was black mold on the handicap accessible handheld shower head. Before everyone comes for me, yes it’s Florida, but the main shower head was clean, so it’s not the humidity at play. The room and hotel were ok, got them on a sale, so I guess even at a Hilton brand, you get what you pay for!
There was a special server - Eda - at breakfast that took care of us like family. The breakfast buffet was especially good and a great variety of food. Eda was timely, courteous and looked after every need. We will certainly not forget her extra care.
We had two rooms, one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds. The rooms were clean and nicely equipped. Beds were comfortable. A nice amount of charging outlets were available. Housekeeping did a great job and we would use this facility again! There is a Starbucks and Ice Cream shop in the main lobby. Excellent ice cream.
Location for Universal Studios is excellent. If staying at the hotel, parking is free. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Ate breakfast at the IHOP just up the road. As per the rooms, fairly typical chain hotel room. Pillows were terrible and mattress was less than perfect. A/C/Heating was extremely loud, woke us up several times when it kicked in. Would suggest to management that whenever renovating, pull the bathtubs and install showers. As far as I could tell, bath room did not have an exhaust fan, mirror really fogged up when showering.
