Had a phenomenal stay and was going to give 5 stars, but an hour after check out I realized I left a coat in my room. I'm still in town so I tried calling to check with the front desk and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I tried messaging through the hilton app and received no response. Can someone from the hotel reach out to me? I'm assuming housekeeping found the coat..? Thanks!

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed at this location for one night after visiting universal studios, front desk employee was clean and professional, thanked us for being Loyal Diamond members, we were promptly given our complementary water and fresh baked cookies, and Diamond members resort comp . he explained the resort’s amenities fully . We decided to Eat on site since we we’re extremely tired from 8 miles of walking in universal. We decided to eat at the American Grill on the first floor , the waitress was very attentive and friendly, Typical Hotel Food. Next door was an ice cream shop, ice cream was fresh and normal pricing. The room was beautiful with a nice view of the pool and pond . The only thing I didn’t like to see inside the ground floor with my children around we’re the male and female Guests walking around half naked at the inside bar and restaurant, men had no shirts on and females had no shirts on exposing their bikini tops (chest) and bottoms ( some exposed with G’s) not a good look for the hotel . I’ll definitely return while in the area .

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The hotel is pretty tired. especially the rooms. Our room had a pretty dodgy smell that hit you every time we went back in. Also the towels didn't smell right. The aircon was mega noisy. Breakfast is about $25-$30. You can easily drive to Dennys/IHOP in a few minutes and spend 40% less. Huge car park, but we had to pay $26 a night. Starbucks on site, which is a thumbs up. About 15-20 mins from orlando airport and about a 15 - 20 minutes walk from universal. Staff were nice enough. Wouldnt stay here again, there must be better options available.

Nice room and comfortable beds. Pleasant 15 minute walk to Universal or they have a shuttle which if you plan to take make reservation early. Nice spa and pool open until 11pm. Outdoor firepit and fountain lit at night. Nice place to get a drink from the bar and sit in the evening. Breakfast expensive ($27.00 for the buffet) Servers were friendly and attentive. As Diamond members we get $30.00 credit for two which did not cover half the cost. Better to use credit at Starbucks on premise for breakfast. Parking $27.00 a day. When we checked in clerk not very knowledgeable about hotel or Diamond upgrade but they were extremely busy. Asked later after coming back from dinner and was moved to an upgraded room (corner more spacious with view of Universal). Hotel has business center with two computers on counter but no stools. I carried the stool from the car rental booth to use and then returned it when I left. Otherwise would have stood at the computer and was there over an hour completing work matters late at night. At least there was a printer available but no supplies or wastebasket. Overall a good stay.

Hilton Diamond member, so stayed at many Hilton Properties and several in Orlando area. Best value in the area, especially if visiting Universal. Positives: clean, quiet, lobby and grounds are terrific. Shuttle service to Universal (need to reserve a spot) or walkable but you will be exhausted on your walk back at the end of the day. Hotel staff is great, especially Viny at the Sunshine Cafe and Brian (manager). Only complaint, breakfast buffet is overpriced at $25 and parking $26 per day but this somewhat offset by reasonable room rates. Recommend a room with Universal view, very cool at night time. If you have a Hilton meal credit, can use at the restaurant, Sunshine Cafe or pizza place but NOT the Ice Cream shop.

First time staying here- and although it was a last minute business trip, planning to come back for fun travel. The lobby was very lively, with different areas to hang out, had a Starbucks, a bar/grill, plus a cafe. They are partnered w Universal, so you can purchase your tickets, get packages without the hassle of doing it at the parks. Great gift store with tons of useful items for parks. The hotel has 2 towers, of 18 floors. Room was very clean, nice comfy bed and pillows and staff was super friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel and staff at the DoubleTree delivered an enjoyable weekend away for my wife and me. The hotel is a bit dated and could use a good freshening up in regards to furnishings BUT the staff outshined this personal preference. Emily, Trevor, Natasha, Oren, and a few other employees that we didn't catch names, delivered what one should expect from Hilton. Welcoming, helpful, engaging, hardworking, and committed defines this team! The location of the hotel was convenient as well, with access to the ITrolley Line around Orlando and bridge/walking path to Universal. If you are reading this and chose to stay at DT, please take a moment to thank the staff for all they do to make DT a home away from home.

Did not get the Universal view that I booked and instead got the highway view - as a Diamond member I expected to at least get the room type that I booked! Restaurants are extremely pricey ( breakfast buffet is $30/pp!) and offer very slow service and sub par quality. You have to request room to be serviced one day in advance and same with shuttle to the park so if you arrive late, you are out of luck for the next day. Walk to park is longer than you think and prob need to aim for 20-25 to actually reach entrance of the park. After the first day, we uber/lyft there and back because shuttle service is very limited.

The hotel is nice (I’ll admit), and it’s a 25 min walk to Universal Studios which isn’t too bad, but it’s not really at “the entrance” of Universal. When we arrived (early) the attendant said check-in was at 4pm, so we were a little bummed but she said she could get us in a room now. I asked her is it in a quiet area. I’m sure we all know what quiet area means (no nearby elevators, higher floor, etc). She said yes. First of all, we appreciate her getting us checked in earlier but I could’ve gladly waited had I had known what we were about to get ourselves into. We were put RIGHT NEXT to the elevator. Heard every person going off and on the elevator. We were also put in a handicapped room with a handicapped bathroom. Neither one of us are handicapped. An actual handicapped person could’ve used this room instead of us. Every morning we took a shower the entire bathroom was flooded with water due it being a handicapped shower. Meaning no door no nothing. We had to put about four towels down every morning to soak up the water. The children were so loud down the hallways it was ridiculous. Not that a hotel can quiet kids but maybe they can I don’t know. Someone left there chicken bones in the hallway ON TOP OF THE CONSOLE TABLE IN FRONT OF THE ELEVATOR. This hotel again was not technically at the entrance of universal. It was loud, crowded, and our room was handicapped. The only thing I liked about the hotel was for us being in shape, the 25 minute walk to and from Orlando universal wasn’t too bad, but for others it could be a bit of a hike. Probably wouldn’t stay there again unless I’m for sure on the top floor. Oh and the bar/restaurant there was awesome. I forgot the main kale bartenders name but he was GREAT! He remembered our drink order every night. Super attentive. He was the only main male bartender so anyone who visits this hotel please check him out! Otherwise if you want peace and quiet stay elsewhere.
