This is a wonderful place to stay for any family or guest going to Universal Studios. A convenient walk to Universal Studios, with a pedestrian walkway bridge over the busy intersection. Wonderful pool and outdoor patio.

Hotel's Favorite
I have stayed at this hotel twice, and I think it is very good. Especially for the reasonable price. I liked it better before covid, but I still think they are doing very well. There is no breakfast buffet anymore, but there is a pretty good selection of breakfast items to order from a menu (gold and diamonds get 50% off, I had a huge breakfast for around 10 dollars every day) I find the staff to be extremely friendly, and yes there are some younger people here partying a bit at night, but I think that just adds to the atmosphere, and is to be expected og such a big hotel in this location. People come here to have fun. I would say it is also a very good hotel to bring kids. The rooms are big and spacious, the bedws are nice., and the pool area is VERY good. Larrge swimming pool, smaller pool and a spa kind of pool, and a very nice surrounding area. You can walk to Universal Studios in 5-10 minutes, I found that so convenient I didn´t even use the shuttle, and it is a very nice walk. Beautiful landscaping along the paths, especially if you venture into the parks by crossing through the “Hard Rock Hotel” pathways. Everything you need is within walking distance. There are many restaurants and fastfood places, a Walgreens pharmacy and a huge shopping area with outlet stores of all kinds just 5 minutes away. I think this hotel has a very reasonable price/features ballance. I would stay there again for sure

Just left. It was a last minute trip we decided to do after Christmas. They gave a great discount for being a healthcare worker so I thought why not. The hotel is average. The elevators need to be cleaned up. The rooms are blah. Our bathroom sink was full of little curly hairs but whatever...easy fix. The lobby is nice. The front desk staff was really nice. The gift shop was below average and pretty much operated whenever they wanted. Breakfast is only Friday-Sunday which wasn’t super helpful. The American Grill restaurant was pretty rough. We sat down around 7 one night for dinner on a Saturday. They had ONE person running the whole thing...bar and tables. There was some seriously annoyed ppl. Food was average at best and they add in the gratuity (maybe it’s a Florida thing but I’ve never seen that for small parties). It’s close to universal and they offer a shuttle but it fills quick. It’s about $11 for an Uber or a 20 minute walk. We had a room with a view of the park but it’s basically A very far view of the Tippity top of the roller coaster. The beds were comfy but all in all not a lot of amenities. Nothing spectacular. Basic at best.

Stayed here because of the convenience of being next to Universal. It is about a 15 minute walk. You save on parking at Universal, but not much because this hotel charges $23 a day to self park which is crazy to me. The hotel is a bit run down as well and the usually good and warm cookies were not very warm. To top it all off, we got a knock on our door around midnight from a maintenance worker saying he got a call about broken A/C. So much for a good night's rest. We would stay again if we were going to Universal but might opt to just stay on property instead.

Older hotel - nice, helpful front desk. Easy check in. Accomodating with small requests. One thing they don't mention is $30 deposit for damages which is non issue , but this turns into $23 per day parking fee, and thats not usual for Orlando. Hotel lobby looks clean, simple, bright. They do have some place downstairs that I think you can grab a drink and I think order pizza but we didnt try it. Rooms have full wall of windows - which is nice - gives you very open feel. Room is an average, kinda tired looking, could use more cleanning. Bathrooms are also in despaerate need of upgrade. Place is great for Universal but is kinda on the other side of town for Disney - during traffic time could be a long drive - of traffic about 20 25 min. Noise level in the room is low when it comes from outside but noise coming from the hall is a different story. You could see the light coming from the hallway at night through our door frame - so any time anyone woukd walk by our room you can hear the conversation like they would be inside our room. Over all would consider staying here again - mainly because of easy going and friendly staff - and price point - then room accomodations.
