My family and I have been staying at this Disney Resort since it opened in 1988. It’s like home to us. Every year has been a magical and a wonderful stay - EXCEPT for this one!! How dare Disney use the excuse of COVID to treat guests with disrespect in terms of time and money well spent! We plan our trips 1 year in advance. We checked the Disney website for any updates on Covid protocol weekly! No where did it say that there would be no housekeeping available and the the resort was not running properly. We stayed here for 11 nights and it was very unpleasant! Between the rudeness of housekeeping and front desk (just asking for fresh towels and pickup of used towels) to Gasperilla’s not operating normally - and the resort just being filthy. Covid should not be an excuse to treat hotel guests like you hold no value to the business we are giving you. We stayed in the GF villas in 2020, our reservation was moved due to the main resort still being closed. In 2020 there was more uncertainty about Covid, then in 2021. Our reservations were booked by Disney travel - not vacation club - therefore our room villa was cleaned everyday. No problems, No attitude, and No excuses from cast members. I’ve never seen anything like this. We do a lot of traveling - we stay at many different resorts - but this was bad…very bad. I hope the GF resort cleans up their act. They will be losing their loyal repeat guests if they don’t!

I have stayed in Holiday Inns nicer than this dump. I paid $850 per night for a standard room with 2 queen beds. The furniture is old and fraying. The bathroom has been renovated since 1985. Chips in paint everywhere. They don’t provide waters in the room and housekeeping doesn’t even make the bed. Do yourself a favor and stay at the JW next time. Disney should be ashamed of themselves. This place should cost no more than $200 per night.

I’ve stayed at many resorts, and this one should remove that title from its name. At a resort, service is premium. Won’t even go into decor and such, but no mini bar, no bottled waters in room, nothing - like a Hampton Inn. Front desk is no help. We stayed at park until after fireworks were over and caught monorail back. Everything closes at “resort” at 10, so I called the front desk and asked if they could put a bottle of wine of my bill and I’d grab from the front desk, and they said,”we can’t be responsible for your groceries, sir.” At a resort?! What a joke. For the money, your way better off going somewhere else.

I left the hotel less than 2 weeks ago, sunday, on monday I realized I left a box of new shoes in the room $100+ valued shoes. Called right away, they asked me to a fill a form at disney.com, they seems to have a 3rd party company handle their lost and found. After 2 weeks, I've got only 3 emails I cant reply to and thats it. It is unbelievable that in such expensive hotel you cant recover a valuable item of that size, I am very dissapointed, I was statying in a luxury hotel I didnt not expect any employee who enter my room after I left could have just walk out carrying a box or shoes, be unchecked by security and just take them home. I am a hotel business proffesional and I would expect this from a cheap hotel, not from a Disney luxury resort, very dissapointing! I was actually sure I could had them shipped home. Not interested in stay again in a Disney Resort. I also think having a 3rd party doing these "searchs" just complicates de whole process

we had planned to go to Grand Floridian for dinner at Criticos and drinks at Enchanted Rose ...were denied entrance by your unmasked guard at gate today .He told us we were not allowed in your property unless we were staying at Grand Floridian or had reservations to any of your property restaurants. I had tried to make a reservation online and the reservations online were not functional, i tried by phone and the automatic message notified me that my wait time was 2 hours for next agent .... My family of 6 were looking forward to enjoying dinner, appetizers and drinks at your lounge and restaurant to celebrate great news from my sons great check at children hospital appointment earlier today. I could not believe we were "kicked out" at your gate... we ended up having a great time at Coronado springs Dalihla lounge instead were we were welcomed by a masked gate agent and hadgreat services without discrimination...very dissapointed at Disney and your resort since we have been faithful customers for years and the fact I know your resort and restaurants were not exactly packed or overwhelmed with business tonight ...wow, low class service
