The theming of the hotel, Victorian opulence, is well executed and the attention to detail maintains its high quality. The rooms are well appointed but it is in the public spaces where it really excels. It's only down side (other than its cost) is the infrequency of shared busses from non-magic kingdom resorts. Both the Polynesian and Grand Floridian are... More

If you are looking for the best Disney has to offer, this is it. We chose to pay an up charge to stay in the "club level" which is actually a separate building. Best decision ever. The concierge were all so nice and super, super helpful. When booking our fast passes didn't work, they helped get us passes that didn't... More

This is by far my favorite hotel ever. The main bldg. lobby is just amazing. We visited at Christmas when the Gingerbread smell was calling us each day. Luxury and convenience of being on the monorail with the Magic Kingdom being the first stop on the loop. Access Epcot by taking the monorail to the TTC and transferring. This hotel... More

Cindy and Cat from the upstairs quick service restaurant in the main building (together as a team) made it their mission to make my experience that much better. They learned it was my daughter's birthday and looked to make it personal. It was clear that it brought them joy to have an impact on us and make our stay better.

Stayed here twice with our 3 kids -- once when they were preschoolers and recently now that they're teens. There aren't many WDW options for fam of 5 without moving up to suite or villa. For us, the convenience of being on Monorail and Gold Flag lines plus the extra space GF rooms offer make the added expense worth it.... More

I've been to Disney World many times and only saw the Grand Floridian from the monorail. I had an opportunity to stay this past October and I have to say it was fantastic. The service was top-notch Disney. The restaurants were a bit pricey, but nothing that was unexpected. The grounds were all designed in true Victorian style. The main... More

The Grand Floridian has consistently been my favorite hotel that I have stayed at. I always feel as though I am brought back in time a hundred years or so with the architecture of the buildings and how the hotel's employees dress and act. The service is great and the restaurants in the hotel are top notch. Not to mention... More
