We have been stranded in Orlando since Friday night, Southwest canceled flights twice! Shout out to Marriott, thank you! You went above and beyond! The manager was caring & kind, tried to help! Special thanks to Ira & Kathy at breakfast! Thank you for brightening the day. This is why I have been a member for years! Marriott is the best! Can't say enough good about this resort during a trying time!
I'll start with the biggest issue which was that the toilet seat would not remain attached to the toilet. I fixed it myself repeatedly but it wouldn't stay that way. I called asking for maintenance and nobody came. Other than that, this is an enormous property with standard-issue Marriott rooms. The buildings are dated but kept up and some parts have been renovated. The staff was otherwise helpful and the grounds are lovely. Bummed there was no mask enforcement but that's Florida!
I love this hotel from the service, to the amenities, and the overall hospitality experience; however nothing tops the service I get from the staff like Jane and Louise (front desk). If I received service like theirs every where else, life would remain great. Bless them both
Just back from 3 day stay and all i can say is WOW!. My wife needed low floor room for health issue and we got one. Staff always asking "what else do we need". Very clean. Staff asking if we need anything. A great resort means it has great management. Outstanding pool. lazy river coming in 2022. Very safe place to stay. We will be back. My wife needed this break from cancer treatments and she had a great time. My thanks to all.
I am SO TIRED of people working at this Marriott hotel telling me how sorry they are and that they are going to fix this but NEVER HAVE UP TO THIS DAY!!!! 78 days later and my bank says they have not return the money owed to me....Say A lot about these CROOKS!!!! I will say it again... Check your bank account after staying here!!!! Over a month ago a front desk manager called and told me that they were very sorry for the mistake in their bookkeeping and would refund me the $191.15 that they have owed me since June 21st. 78 days and still haven't returned it to my bank even after the manager apologized about all of this and my stay there. How many people have they done this too???? I'm sure I'm not the only one that they have STOLE MONEY from a persons bank account that didn't belong to them. That is pretty much what they did was steel my money that they weren't owed and have yet to return it. So if the Real Hotel manager is reading this, CALL ME because you have many people working there that are stealing from customers. I'm sure I'm not the only one that this happen too and probably WON'T be the last.... This is the 12th updated review for my stay here DUE to management saying they will look into this and they don't. It has been 78 DAYS NOW AND THEY HAVE STILL NOT REFUNDED THE $191.15 OWED TO ME. This is uncalled for. If guest services or the accountant, and hotel manager can't call me about this in over 78 days since I stayed there. That SAYS something about this hotel. I have left message multiple times for these people to call and THEY DON'T....71 days and NO CALL AT ALL FROM THESE PEOPLE. Shows how they care about there customers after their stay is over. CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AFTER STAYING HERE!!!! They charged me and took out of my bank account $595.35 when my bill was $404.20. They owe me $191.15 since June 21st and I have yet to see it in my account. I have wasted over 6 hours calling and talking to managers about this and they tell me they will fix it and they don't. I leave messages with their accounting dept to call me back and they never did! They told me self Parking was $20 and charged $25 when I checked out. They also charge a $35 resort fee when nothing isn't open to use. Ac turned off in room by housekeeping while we were gone for the day. Hot in room when we got back. Computers and printers for airline tickets don't work. Pools were closed when we got back to our room at 6pm. Why charge a $35 resort fee when the pools are closed. Also , the gate card reader to get out of the parking garage worked about 20 percent of the time. The Pillows on the bed are so soft that when you lay on them, it is like laying on paper as they are not thick at all. Very thin pillows. There was also mold on our vent in our room and the front desk said they would have the person that cleans the room clean it the next day. I told them they are crazy for thinking I am staying in the room with mold on the vent and they finally got someone up to clean it. Toilet didn't flush most of the time. If you are wanting to stay at this Hotel, save your money and read the negative reviews. They are all true......Management doesn't care. They'll just say in all the other negative reviews that they are sorry and look forward to you staying with them again. REALLY!!!!!! If they really cared about their hotel guest then none of this should have happened. This is by far the WORST Marriott I have ever stayed in.…
