I was attending a corporate conference here. Everything was great. I know, that's a big statement. But in this case it's true. My room was in the North Tower on the 12th floor. Everything, from the public spaces to the hallways seemed recently updated. Excellent condition. My room seemed the same. Very clean. Seemed new. I heard the same from colleagues. All employees greeted me with a hello and a smile either at the front desk or when walking by. I don't know what else to say. Everything was great...and I'm very particular. Ok, the only negative comment I'll give, and this applies to ALL Marriott properties is I hate the bottled soaps and shampoo on the shower walls. And by the way, the place is enormous! I walked more in a day there than I do a month at home!

We didn't it here, got food poisoning. We had ants in the bed - which was horrific. Staff were incredibly rude to us and I am a Platinum whatsit bonvoy member. The front desk treat you so badly, literally no point in complaining. When i told them we had ants in the bed they were completly non plussed and said it happens a lot. When we said we had got food poisoning they said we would 'have' to be interviewed by secuirity, I said we are on holiday and we don't have to do anything as we are not employees - it was nuts. Despite this they still sent two unpleasant security guards to our room and they frightened our disabled son. It was the most surrealist hotel stay. They make Basil Fawlty look charming and professional.

We stayed over spring break and had a great time!! We went to Disney and this hotel is within 15 to 20 mins of all the parks. At the World Center, you have the main hotel and 3 different villas. The villas are the Sabel which has its own pool and hot tub, pool deck with chess, checkers and ping pong, the beach volleyball is by the Sabels plus tennis and basketball courts, those courts did not look like they were in the best of shape. Then you have Imperial palms which has a pool and hot tub and basketball courts and tennis which appears pretty new. Then the Royal Palms where we stayed and they have pool, hot tub, shuffle board and cornhole. They also have live music on the patio next to the pool and some nights they have free hotdogs. Our villa was really nice, 2 bedroom 2 bath. Large kitchen with everything you will need, full size washer and dryer, plenty of towels. Housekeeping came every other day. Had a very comfortable roll out couch and a screened in patio. The only thing we didnt like is our villa was the very last building on the end right next to all the dumpsters and maintenance stuff. From the master you could hear the highway. When you stay in the villas, you have access to most things at the hotel but waterpark with lazy river, its $20 a person and the mini golf which is $10 a person. Mini golf was a joke, i wouldn't waster your time. They do have waterslides that you do not have to pay for so I would do those instead of paying for the other one. The pool at the hotel is very large with tvs. It was very fun to watch march madness in the pool. You can rent inner tubes for $10 a day. There are cave looking things on one side of the pool and on top of those there is a hot tub and kids splash pad, you cannot see them from the pool. They have a pool bar with some food, not great food but good food. On the lawn by the pool, they have soccer goals, chess, ping pong, bags and more. They give you a list of activities but they dont always do what is listed, they had pool games listed one day and they played 2 games of tug of war and done. Activities department could do much better. Inside the hotel, there is an arcade, central pantry basically a store, lobby bar, Italian restaurant, Japanese steakhouse, sports bar and hotel restaurant. We only ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant, cannot remember the name, buffett was amazing!! Hotels grounds, pools and hot tubs are very clean. I gave 4 stars cause food at pool bar was meh, location of our villa and activities not what they said. When you are there, you do feel like you are on an island, everything is very private and beautiful!!

Our second consecutive spring break stay at OWC Marriott and it didn't disappoint. We were excited to get a high floor pool view room and were provided a late checkout by Quentin. Many staff members took time to recognize and thank me for my Bonvoy member status, even receiving an elite invite to meet the GM for light snacks/drinks. Room and grounds were very clean and although we declined daily maid service, they were always close by, even cleaning balcony railings (see photo). We asked for fresh towels late one night and received them in less than 5 mins. So much to do at the hotel with the pool, lazy river and 6 water slides that we stayed there 3 out of 4 days there. The pool bar wait service was quick and friendly, food and drinks were delicious and high quality. The on-site restaurants are nice and food was tasty. Jackie was a joy at breakfast as we enjoyed the plentiful buffet and omelet station. We were able to catch the free shuttle to Disney Springs but missed the opportunity to drive golf balls or play mini golf while there ( all included with the resort fee). I did utilize the large gym on a few days though. So much to do, it's difficult to fit it in. Overall, really enjoyed our visit and recommend to families or couples that want to have a great resort experience.

The Orlando World Center Marriott is what I would call a 'don't go anywhere, everything is contained on premises' type of resort property, and a very good one. It's also got a world-class convention center attached that can handle even the largest of meeting conferences. Let's start with the resort side. There are multiple towers of fully-renovated rooms. Each room has excellent bedding, nice/bright bathroom, and a nice SmartFridge mini fridge. The Central Pantry market in the lower level allows you to buy items that you may keep chilled in your mini fridge. At the resort there is a Latitude & Longitude restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch, and then High Velocity sports bar, Siro Italian Kitchen, and Mikado Japanese steak house (pricey) that are open for dinner. The previously-mentioned Central Pantry is where you may go for above-average pizzas, hot dogs, frozen yogurt, and a very tasty bacon/egg breakfast sandwich. There is also a pool bar, lobby lounge, and a very-popular Starbuck's here. Hotel guests do pay a daily resort fee, but they've really amped up the activities. The River Falls Water Park - fully contained inside the Marriott resort - is now open and guests get to have lots of fun here. I'm told there are 3 multi-rider waterslides and a lazy river where one may relax in an inner tube and simply flow through the pool area. Group activities are also coordinated by the Marriott staff throughout the day. I was attending a conference so unfortunately did not get to experience all the waterpark fun this time. Also available is a standalone huge fitness center with lots of treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, free weights, and more. There is also a nice jogging trail that circumvents the resort property. Unless you are going to use your car or rental car every day of your stay, I'd recommend NOT having a car. If you are going to stay here and make use of all that this resort property has to offer, it doesn't make sense to just have a car sitting in the parking facility and paying that daily parking fee. Your resort fee does cover free shuttle service to nearby Walt Disney World and Disney Springs. For all those attending a convention or conference here, you couldn't have asked for a better convention center. Lots of small meeting rooms to huge ballrooms; good catering for your events with food as well. Their newly-added Magnolia section is quite impressive and seamless - you wouldn't have know that section wasn't there pre-COVID. All in all, this is one of my favorite Marriotts; you will enjoy your stay here.

This place is an interesting mix. It caters to business conferences so the lobby with a bar is super noisy in the evenings. Like a sports stadium. And on a Sunday night they had a live salsa music at the pool area until 11 pm on a Sunday. We had a room that had a pool view. The sound was about 55 db which was about 10 db above the ambient noise of the room. Yet on the other hand it has included in the room price large pools, water park qualify water sides, lazy river , staffed with lifeguards , etc. so it clearly also caters to families. There also are a number of restaurants in the hotel and the 3 we are at were great. The lobby is a bit of a zoo/congestion area and the Starbucks in the morning is crazy. But otherwise it’s nice and clean. There is a convenience store that’s open pretty late. And this hotel is located near Disney and has included shuttles to all the Disney parks and disney springs.

Unsatisfactory Experience at the Hotel My experience was nothing but unpleasant, and I cannot stress enough how unhappy I am. I would like to bring to your attention the following issues that made my stay unbearable. Firstly, I was astounded to find that the housekeeping did not attend to my room or provide fresh towels for two days. Upon my complaint, I was informed that they were busy and moving slowly, which is unacceptable. Even after requesting towels, I had to wait until the next day, which is an incredibly long wait. Secondly, I was charged every day for my room, which even 5-star hotels do not impose. This was an inconvenience and left me feeling aggrieved. Thirdly, to add insult to injury, the managers and staff were downright discourteous and dismissive. Their behaviour towards guests ruined the experience entirely. Lastly, the valet service was disorganized, and my car took over 30 minutes to retrieve, despite being charged $50 a day. The service was inefficient and not up to hotel standards. In conclusion, I did not receive the level of service that was expected from a reputable establishment

The pool and slides were nice and proximity to Disney with shuttle service is convenient. They charge a resort fee daily which includes using the driving range. When we went to the clubhouse to use it, they refused to let us on the driving range because it was a little busy. We would have been happy to wait for a spot to open but they insisted we come back later. Food service at the lazy river was ridiculously slow since the food was apparently coming from the other side of the resort. Bar soap is apparently a luxury at Marriot. We had to keep asking for room supplies. The shampoo and body wash were weird botanical scents that were unpleasant. One glass in the room for two people. One coffee cup for a room for two people. The toilet didn’t flush consistently. The sliding glass door was cloudy. The had a barn door for the bathroom which doesn’t offer privacy. The music at the pool was too loud. They don’t have enough food options for the size of the hotel. The options available are expensive.

The parking was 1/3 of mile from the room! More on that later. We are loyal bonvoy customers with over 400 nights. But never felt as unwelcomed as much as we did here. And we've been experienced horrible properties in the past. This was a stay-cation and we actually got in the car to go home than spend the night but came back for our stuff in the room. The front staff refused an upgrade even though it was available. Later, I asked for a late check out but I was told "it's not available" The magic was I hung up the phone and tried again, suddenly it was available. The $30 a night parking was 870 steps away! That's 0.40 miles! Yes, I measured it, one escalator done and another one up in addition to the elevator to your room. It's so far, they even have a shuttle to lobby, which takes a long time to come, especially in the rain. I was questioning the parking charge at check out and the guy(Jose), printed my receipt mid-sentence and dismissed me. This hotel can care less about non-conference guests and are professional at saying "sorry, it's not available"
