This place is OLD and needs refurbishment. I was not impressed and I felt like they owed me a refund. 1. The posting on the entrance doors were chipped very badly and there was cobwebs, dirt, spiders, etc that greeted us outside the door. 2. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with an overwhelming smell of mold. Not cool. 3. The appliances were from the 70s. That old it was white at one time but now it’s yellow stuff. That’s what’s there. Not cool 4. The A/C unit leaked. Called the front desk and the maintenance man “fixed it”. 20 mins later it was still leaking. 5. The couch and living room furniture is VERY OLD. It was like sitting on the floor. Feathers are looking out of all of the cushions. Not cool 6. The control unit on the A/C was so old that I could not figure out how to change the schedule it was running on so we would freeze at night. Not cool 7. The balcony was filthy with cobwebs and it needed a good cleaning and repainting. Not cool 8. Lamps would not turn on in the bedrooms because they were too old !!! The switch to turn them on that’s on the lamp would just turn and turn. The switch on the wall would just turn and turn (yes it was a round switch there you turn. Not the normal up and down switch) This place is just old. If you are looking for a flop house in a 70s theme this is the place. If you are looking for a certain level of comfort and accustomed to nice things please look somewhere else because this place doesn’t have any of that.

I stayed here because of a deal that Armed Forces Vacation Club was doing for a post deployment Disney vacation. Overall the stay wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t stay here again. Pros: 1) The resort was pretty close to all amusement parks yet felt secluded and quiet at the resort. 2)The room is spacious and the in room washing machine and kitchen was nice. 3)The hotel has a texting service so anything you need you can contact the front desk without having to go down there. 4) The staff was very kind and quick to help with anything needed. 5) the pool is very nice and has a tiki bar that is open in nice weather and a nice hot tub. Cons: 1) The beds and pillows are extremely hard and they didn’t have any softer pillows at all. My wife and I alternated sleeping on the couch some nights because it was much softer. 2) The kitchen is a nice feature, however the pots and pans are old and the food sticks and you get one spatula to cook everything with so it was difficult at times. 3) The website advertises a shuttle to the parks, however it is only available for 2 parks and at very inconvenient times so we took Lyft everywhere which was fine. 4) The entire room is tile other than the rooms with beds which I know makes it easy to clean, however it makes the room echo and you hear every step from those in the room above you, we had a family with kids running around stay above us so it was very loud. 5)By the end of the stay I had killed a handful of tiny roaches which is the ultimate reason we won’t stay here again. I’d like to think they were probably driven inside by the rain and tropical storms, however on the 4th floor of a nice resort I would expect to see none because the property should be treated for pests. I’m just glad we didn’t have our suitcases on the floor or anything.

We stayed in Block 7 in October overlooking the lake at the back of the property, we were on the 4th floor so had a great view of this. The apartment was spacious and clean, albeit a little old fashioned, but we didn't come to Orlando to stay in all day look at the furniture. It was comfy enough and we all managed to get good sleep whilst staying there for 2 weeks. It was fully equipped with everything that we needed and there was always plenty of hot water for showering. The staff at the desk were polite and helpful. We didn't hear the comings and goings of other guests, but other blocks might have been busier than ours. With regards to some of the negative reviews we read before coming to stay here, we were a little apprehensive, but either we're not that fussy and easily pleased or it could have been much worse based on previous reviews. I think the only real negative and its really minor as most people drive, is that there isn't anything within walking distance. Hope this helps anyone with doubts about staying here, it really isn't the worst place to stay and if you're lucky enough to stay in our apartment, watching the sun come up with the birds, fish, gators and that lake ... wow nature at its finest. You won't get that on international drive

So, we stayed here for 14 nights in early August as a family of four and a three bedroomed apartment (room 6502). We arrive late at night and everything look great, big apartment, fantastic hotel grounds, all looked good. But then the daylight came. location wise, fantastic. As close as you would need to be to all of the parks, about a 10-15 minute drive to all of them. Unfortunately, the apartment itself really let it down, some terrible hygiene standards and in drastic need of modernisation. Cupboards hanging from the hinges, broken microwave, oven panel is hanging on the floor About 10 days into our holiday, my daughter started complaining of being bitten during the night. Upon inspection, we found an army of bed bugs. The hotel happily offered us an alternative room. we change to a two bedroomed apartment for the last four nights. Apart from the bed bugs, we had the same issues, tired, looking furniture, and poor hygiene standards, generally very dirty. The main window from the corridor, the blinds would not shut properly, therefore we had no privacy at night with the lights on. I spoke to the assistant manager who assured me that all the issues would be fixed that day, however, they were still not fixed the day we left. Poor The pool area was fantastic, very clean looking and very modern, the pool bar was good, although extremely expensive. Beware, the barman takes an automatic 20% tip, even though he only got one bottle from the fridge (only in America!) Would I stay here again? no!

I debated very hard what to rate this hotel star wise. Looking at the hotel as while I think I would return. We booked a two bedroom room but on arrival were very happy to see we had been given a three bedroom room. The room was huge. It had well stocked kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, a main bath room and en-suite. The rooms were all spacious. The rooms are needed if an upgrade. Can tell some stuff has been done like we had a huge new tv. The sofa was very worn and in desperate need of a refresh. The pool area is stunning and sun lounger are very comfy. The major issue we faced is ants and I would say this is hotel side problem we were in block 7 and my parents were in block 4, we both had ants. But reception were helpful and came sprayed. We had one day where a company had came to fumigate I think and then seen no more ants the rest of the trip. Reception will happily drop off more towels when requested. The rubbish was collected most days from the room. A travel cot or pack and play can be requested from reception. Just to warn they aren’t the most padded for toddlers so we put a towel in to pad it out more. This hotel is in great distance for Walt Disney world stays

We rented a three-bedroom unit in June 2022. When we first entered, we were very much impressed by the size of the unit. It was huge and well appointed. Each bedroom had a television, a great asset if you are travelling with kids. We were so busy during our weeks’ stay that we did not turn the television on once. Upon closer inspection is when we started seeing the negative side to the unit. It wasn’t very clean. The cupboards were dirty, the side of the fridge was very dirty. The pots and pans were not in the best of shape. The furniture had stains, the screen on our balcony had rips in it and was blowing in the wind. Their best asset is their staff and the pool. Poolside was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of chairs and towels and amazing staff. When you were poolside, you thought yourself on a tropical resort. It was well-maintained with plenty of activities. The inside of the units need some serious loving. On one of the nights During our stay, someone backed into our rental vehicle and forgot to let us know (wink wink)We went to the front desk the next morning wondering if they had security cameras and we were surprised that they did not. We checked in periodically to see if anyone had confessed to hitting our vehicle, but no reports were ever made to the front desk. It was obviously someone staying at one of the units. The front desk staff were always courteous and willing to help. All in all, the units are spacious and well appointed. The downside is they are not very clean and when we mentioned it to the front desk, they told us it wasn’t just their resort experiencing these problems; it’s a problem they are having everywhere. They simply cannot get staff. I would still recommend this place; it’s just, be aware of the short falls and concentrate on the positive aspects and enjoy your vacation

RCI members beware. This place is so disgusting. I came to Trip Advisor to see what I should request for the best experience. I asked for a room in building 1-4, Disney fireworks view, top floor, and updated. I received none of these things, I’m assuming because I’m an RCI member and not paying outright. The resort was not close to being at capacity. The first room I was given was in building 6, room 402. There was an overwhelming product smell throughout the room, maybe trying to mask the fact that it wasn’t clean? There were crumbs in the kitchen and under the chairs, on top of kitchen chairs, and stains on the old and sun bleached couch. Nothing in this room was updated within the past 10 years. I called the front desk to let them know I wouldn’t accept the room and gave me the ‘only other room available’ which was one floor below, room 302. This room appeared cleaner upon first inspection, but what choice did I have? Btw, ‘management’ comes on here and comments that if they had been aware, they would have done something about our complaints at the time. This is obviously NOT TRUE. They do not do anything for you at the time of complaint, nor do they after the fact. Anyway, back to the room. I can imagine the cleaning people brushing their hair and physically removing strands and dropping them on the floors, in the refrigerator, in the showers, within the sheets , and on towels. I have never seen so many long, black hairs at any other timeshare in Orlando. The beds are horrible uncomfortable, the appliances are filthy. The microwave even has a rotating dish that doesn’t fit so your food wobbles and spills when heated. The carpets turned our kids feet black. I mean, tar black. We don’t even feel comfortable walking barefoot in the apartment. We found nothing comfortable or relaxing about our time at this resort and wish we never tried it. We vacation in Orlando often. We gave WorldQuest a chance and they bombed. The rooms I requested do seem to be updated from what I can tell through the windows. The pool area is nice, but a hike from the old forgotten buildings past 4. My guess is they have buildings 1-4 updated and save the other buildings for RCI and other vacation clubs. Is it worth it? Nope. I’ll stick with Vacation Village or SummerBay.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. Please accept our humblest apologies for issues you mentioned in your unit. We have shared your feedback with our engineering and housekeeping leadership team for further review and follow up. We appreciate your comments regarding our renovations, please know that some of our private owners have, indeed, refurbish their units, however, we do not select special reservations to occupy these units. The occupancy of the unit is done randomly and based on occupancy. We appreciate the business of all our renters and there is no difference between one and another. Thank you once again.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom suite in September. Very happy with decor and cleanliness after reading some older reviews. Stayed in block 4 room 405 over looking the lake the view is beautiful. We watched the crocs ,birds ,squirrels and turtles everyday. There is a small starter pack in the room including coffee , sugar ,creamer , washing up liquid , fabric softener ect . Shampoo conditioner and body lotion in each bathroom. Rubbish is collected daily and clean towels if asked for . We had a partial view of epcot fireworks at 9 every night , better view of the top I would imagine. Small shop online but expensive as they usually are. Tiki bar is open from 12 till 7/8 , cocktail was $19.60 I assumed that included a tip because menu price was $16. A few people took their own drinks around the pool. Pool towels available next to the pool. We booked through tui and there was no resort fees to pay thankfully. You do need a car as its not in walking distance of anything. Walmart and restaurants 5 minutes away . Lyft and uber to epcot costs around $12 each way , $14 to seaworld. There is a bus that goes from reception to magic Kingdom and animal kingdom but must book your slot. Ubereat delivers to your door which was great .

Room 1-201 - got here today, this property is going downhill. We have stayed at this property several times in the past. The unit we are staying in is in bad shape. Broken counter top, cracked microwave, old appliances - worn out carpet, furniture looks dirty and dated. Wouldn’t stay here again. The bedding looks cheap and well used. Not what we have been used to in the past. Here for a few more days and will make the most of it. Time to start looking at another of the 1000 options around Orlando for our next visit.
