Animal kingdom lodge is really a beautiful property. Nested among the green coverage of the forest on the one side and animal safari on the other side. Rooms are really very spacious and well attended. Hotel lobby is awesome. There are 3 restaurants. One should really try the breakfast and dinner buffet at Boma restaurant. Spread is huge. Those who...

We stayed in a one-bedroom Villa from 12/23-1/3 and loved it. Full, well equipped kitchen, enormous master bath with huge shower for two and large jacuzzi tub that we used often. We were a party of 5: My husband and I and our 3 kids 21, 20 and 15. We reserved a standard view room but were upgraded to a...

We stayed three nights (family of 4) at the kidani village. This section of the animal kingdom lodge seems to be newer. We had a great time, the Christmas ambience is just beautiful and magical. However, I would recommend to stay at the jambo house where you have more dining options but parking seems to be an issue there. We...

All of Walt Disney World's resorts are well presented and well themed, but the Animal Kingdom Lodge & Villas, in my humble opinion, take the prize! From your initial approach to the resort, to your entrance via the lobby at either Jambo House or Kidani Village, right through to your accommodation you are transported to Africa. You are surrounded by...

My daughter, fiancé and I recently stayed at the Kidani Village. We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa. I was a little disappointed in the views I was hoping to see more animals from our balcony but most of the animals seemed to come near our room at night which made for limited viewing. The walk from the room to...

Stayed at AKL Kidani in a studio savannah view room for 8 nights in December with my husband and two boys. We have stayed in AKL Jambo before and loved it. We later joined DVC and gave Kidani a try this time. We were not disappointed. The rooms were beautiful, decor is gorgeous, kitchen area was perfect and pull out...

Our three generation family just spent Christmas at Disney World. We (9) of us wanted to be together so we rented a grand villa at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Although we were concerned about the distance from the theme parks, the bus service was quick and often. Each bus went to only one location. so there was not...

I stayed with my daughter for a week. The rooms are spacious and clean, just a little on the dark side. The lighting was not good. The resort is huge with not much going on. The hallways are extremely long. It took us a good five minute walk from our room to the lobby. Don't forget anything when you go...

We just completed a week stay at christmas. This is one of the most well rounded and amazing places to stay of any resort anywhere. Watching the animals, all the activities available and the disney service make for a world class resort.

…but was left a bit deflated. The staff was nice, although the gal at check-in mistakenly told us that our Magic Bands were active and ready -- then we got turned away from the entrance to HS, because our APs were not activated as we thought and the line was very long (week before Christmas). No matter, even though we...
