We just became new residents of Grand Lake Resort and we have nothing but great things to say about the location and staff there. Due to Covid, our daughter’s wedding plans had to change which led us to have the wedding at Grand Lakes. There are three people in particular that stood out during the preparation of the wedding that we are very grateful for. Thank you to Sid for all he did to clean out and pressure wash the gazebo, as well as preparing everything outside. This allowed our daughter and son in law to have a beautiful place to get married and celebrate. Thank you to Gigi in the office who was able to coordinate with us and ensured that all of the wedding guests had appropriate housing and accommodated everyone’s schedule for when they needed their cottages. And thank you to Mike B for being so friendly and accommodating with making sure the men were able to golf. Thank you also for making sure everyone was able to rent a golf cart during our stay, so that we were able to go on a golf cart parade throughout the park with the newlyweds. Because of these people, we were able to have the wedding of my daughter’s dreams and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

We are full time-RV'ers. We really enjoyed this park. Quiet for the most part and beautiful surroundings. I would have rated 5 star however, on Day 1 we requested a picnic table because there was not one on our site for whatever reason. We were told it would be delivered.....It's now Day 6 and still no picnic table. I will not ask twice. The service at the restaurant was excellent however the food was acceptable at best. I think one of the things I liked least about this park is when you check in there is no one there to greet you. I come from a land where campgrounds have offices where a human checks you in and welcomes you. More and more campgrounds are getting away from this. I think they should go back to it because it really does make the guest feel more welcome when a person is there to greet them and show appreciation for the $$$ we spend. We would return to this park, we enjoyed the area.

Our stay here has been just as pleasant as Fran’s voice was over the phone prior to us landing here. We started out at a park/resort nearby but our accommodations were not met on the first night, nor did the park have any means or intentions of doing so. I called Grand Lake the very next day (not realizing my wife had pointed it out as we passed it the previous day), and spoke with Fran, and later on Patty. They had immediate spots to chose from and we settled down here. I appreciate how Grand Lake facilitates our needs for the internet by “allowing” providers to bring in service to each lot and not pretending for us to use the resort’s wi-fi, unlike the other places. We have everything we need here, including the positive and welcoming attitudes and smiles whenever I go up front. The positive attitudes, care, sincerity, and concerns have never faltered. You know how some businesses and establishments get you and hook you and then turn on you once you’re “in”? That has not been the case here at Grand Lake. Fran was our first POC on the front line, and she is just as kind in person. Patty is always aiming to please us if there is anything awry or not quite right. GeGe and Sophi are always willing to go the distance for us as well. Sure, we’ve had issues since we’ve been here, but nothing that warrants us to pick up and relocate, as the staff, to include maintenance, is always on their game. This is our first time “outdoors” so to speak, but my wife and I are happy campers.

I live in this park full time and love it. I needed a spot to unload my motorhome after coming back from a week long trip. I also needed to have a repair done on my roof. Fran found a site I could park my motorhome on overnight that was close to my permanent site so it was very convenient. At the time I was not sure if I could get the roof repaired the next day. Fran offered that I could have the site for an additional day if I needed it. As it turned out, I was able to get the roof repaired the following day and I was able to remove my motorhome from the site and put it into storage. I want to thank Fran for helping me out It is greatly appreciated.

Grand Lake sits on Orange Lake with it's own restaurant facing the lake serving excellent food by a friendly staff. It cares for a 9 hole golf course in wonderful condition under the eyes of golf rangers Randy Cartwright and Mike Beaver who both have secondary skills I have personally benefited from; Randy as a pickleball instructor and Mike as a retired golf pro! Two pickleball courts, a tennis court, shuffleboard court, three horseshoe pits, a golf pro shop, multiple recreation buildings, two pool table, various exercise equipment, a library, a swimming pool and a host of scheduled events. Management does a fantastic job of keeping everything up to professional standards. If you can't find something of interest, you're not trying. SMILE!

Tiffany always takes great care of us whenever we visit the restaurant. She makes it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend visiting the Eagle's Nest and make sure to try the fried catfish!

This may be one of our favorite RV resorts so far. We had a great paved lot, with all paved roads. Our friends were staying in a park model that was quite adequate. I would certainly look into that if I’m bringing other people. There’s a lake for fishing, a golf course and a restaurant on the premises. Who could ask for more? My husband and I ate at the Eagles Nest Bar & Grill. Erin was our server and she was awesome! I had fried fish and my husband had the grilled fish. And our meals were wonderful. There were two outdoor seating areas, one screened in and one open. It was raining that night so we were able to sit outside in the screened in patio and have our cocktails and our meal on a Friday night. That was the kick off of our trip, and I’m glad we started there. We were unable to partake in all of the amenities but there’s always the next time, because there WILL DEFINITELY be a next time. We highly recommend this resort. We were very impressed.

The campground property was beautiful. The on site restaurant had great food and Tiiffany, our server, was so pleasant and helpful. In fact everyone we encountered: staff, guests and residents were so nice. We enjoyed a round of golf on the well laid out par 3 golf course.

My Special Needs Son and myself Chose Grandlake Reort to Stay for our recent Vacation. We rented a Cottage for our week Stay.Being a Bass Fisherman an my Son a Golfer for Special Olympics this place fit our needs. From the first call to Fran booking our vacation to asking to extend our stay an extra day She was very helpful as was the entire Staff there from the office to Eagles Nest Restaurant everyone made our stay Comfortable. I was so Amazed with the setup an room of our Cottage or Tiny home that I spoke with Patty regarding the purchase of One.It is equipped with everything you should need and more! I brought my bassboat an fished popular Orange Lake as my Son took advantage of the Golf Course.The Restaurant on property had Great food an fair prices.I will definitely go back to Grandlakes again as a guest or possibly a new Resident!

Not close to any shopping at all. You'll need to go back to I75 for any shopping. we didn't use their wifi as we travel with a hot spot with our own wifi. Sorry.
There are more places to choose from in the Orange Lake area.
