Echoing what others have said. This is NOT what it appears. It's old. It's nasty. It smells of cigarette smoke everywhere. It needed remodeling decades ago! It is nothing more than a run down rooming house.

This is a first for us. Please stay away from this hotel. I booked this hotel for four nights while my husband was at an antique show. It was disgusting, roaches around the refrigerator, horrible smell, paint chipping, hot water did not work, sheets had stains on them. Imagine this, a toe nail was found in the bed, meaning one...

This is a charming hotel in Orange City. I really want to like it. But I won't be back. The room was nice, but the tv didn't work. They told me they had just replaced it, but the tv was too old to be anything but a cast off from another room. I figured out the problem, it basically kept...

Booked this online. mistake. turn back. don't do it. I looks a boarding house. People hanging around out back looked like they just escaped rehab. Management was using a grocery cart to clean the rooms, and the hallway smelled heavily of Pinesol. I was waiting for Captain Spaulding to lurk around the corner. at any moment. The room that I...

This place is disgusting!!!! Don't go here! Musty smells threw out the hotel. Buffet is gross. Gross looking crock pots. The food is so gross!! Cold, and salty! The cooks does not know how to cook at all! The building is a trashy crack head looking inn. It's all trashy, and the building fallen apart. Turn around and go some...

We booked this hotel on our roadtrip, as we had tickets for Nascar in Daytona Beach. Four days prior to our arrival, the manager emailed us with a cancellation due to "Major repairs". I responded with a complaint, and suddenly they had a room for us. On arrival, the manager informed us that we had been upgraded to their most...

I'm from Washington, DC, and the closest thing to this was my all time favorite Country Inn in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. THIS PLACE - while not visited by George Washington - is charming, quiet, and immaculately furnished. It's a historic building creatively renovated with love of detail and full of modest (it's Florida of the 1880's!) grandeur. The people...

My Husband and I stayed here for part of the Fourth of July weekend as we were going to the Coke Zero 400. We did our homework and knew what to expect for this place and I could go on and on about the history and how amazing all of it was, but you have to enjoy that sort of...

If you are thinking or have booked here please get a refund. Handy man on duty is a drunk, doors do not lock well at all. I enjoy historic things but the smell you get is musty not vintage. Bathroom has mold and is kinda gross. PPl yelling all around the place and cops everywhere.

We booked this hotel because it was close to Blue Springs State Park, and it is very close, but we knew nothing about the hotel or Orange City. When we arrived we found ourselves staying in the oldest building in Orange City and one of the oldest continuously used buildings in Volusia County (it was first built in 1876, thus...
