Spending the weekend camping here. The sites are close together but very well maintained. Some of the roads and the golf course were flooded due to very heavy rains several days before, messy but not ruining the time spent here. The park is very well maintained, clean, the employees are friendly. There are several major stores in the area. The...

We have a Motorcoach that is 44 feet and we pull a 20 foot stacker trailer. The spaces at the KOA are large enough to accommodate us. We travel with 2 huskies and they have a small fenced in dog park or a large run at the front of the campground. They have 2 nice swimming pools with one for...

Not especially fond of the town of Okeechobee. Not much there...Walmart, Home Depot and a new, nice Publix. The campground is great. Continual work going on and improvements and updates happening. Lots of activities and it is great to have an onsite "Tiki" bar. Staff is helpful friendly and welcoming. Adult pool and hot tub are great and everyone is...

We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend - we originally had 3 nights reserved and ended up going home after 2. The site was quite a surprise for us - it was a massive place, evidently the KOA's largest, and definitely not something we would normally choose. The first site we were offered was really narrow, even for our...

We recently attended a group function at the campground which proved to be great fun for everyone! In spite of the weather, we were still able to meet under the shelter by the adult pool for a fabulous pot luck dinner! During the day, you can enjoy amenities such as Golf, Bike Riding, Games for the kids in the "mail...

Family camp out. Very large property with nice size lots. We had our travel trailer and my family rented cabins. Staff booked us across from each other which was perfect. Very quite there now durning the summer. Cabins are really cute and make sense for the summer months. A/c and cable is a must where then summer storms roll in....

The campground is centered in town with all sorts of sight-seeing opportunities and flea markets nearby. The grounds of the campsite itself are neat and with a nice pool, bar, and general store. However, the tent camping area is cramped, the people who work on the grounds are not helpful and were quite rude. From check-in to checkout, the customer...

Camped there 4/4/2016 thru 4/10/2016. Over all it is a very nice RV full service campground. Not all sites have 50 amp service. Some interior roads have potholes but the park is in a upgrade mode to repave roads and upgrade sites to 50 amps. Club room is super with kitchen facilities and there is a golf course available on...

“Although we didn't stay in this particular cabin we were told that Cabins 1 and 2 had ceiling fans, TV, and a small refrigerator, and were only $8.00 more a night.”

“If in a motorhome, pay a few bucks extra for the golf course fronted sites. Don't miss taking your family for a tie-dye t-shirt if that activity is during your stay. There isn't a lot of shade, mostly palm trees (although some lots are shaded), so think about east or west facing for your RV awning and your preferences during summer months.”
